Slower muzzle velocity, higher recoil, much higher ammo weight. Only benefit is increased barrier penetration, against armor it’s worse than 5,45. Against soft targets m43 (most common round used in conflicts by far) tumbles very deeply into the body, often after already leaving the target leaving a wound comparable to a 7,62 tokarev handgun bullet. All military 5,45 bullets tumble very early in tissue leaving impressive wounds. Only reason to have 7,62x39 is for engaging vehicles or through thick vegetation (reason why Finns still use it). In most cases 5,45 is the superior cartridge
Like the guy above said it's outdated, much heavier and higher recoil and slower muzzle velocity made it not practical, oh and can't penetrate armor
Prefer AEK-941.
PERFEITA 👍
Ak 47 have good shape.
There ain't nothing that AK-12 can do that my Serbian made AKM can't do.
