  • Hi!
Here is my method of how to repair a windsurfing board deck that got soft.
Finally with action part in the end!!
Got quite technical in the explaining part. But I find it helpful to understand construction the mechanics of our boards.
If you want to skip that go directly to the repair part at minute 10:08.
Hope you find this helpful, let me know in the comments!

Geile Sache! 🤙🏼

Fantastic video. Very interesting. You mentioned turning the board upside down to prevent resin moving away from deck to much. I guess you tape the syringes to the deck and then flip it

Syringe 💉 .

Yeah, that is what we did in the 80’s which - I thought - is nowadays considered as not ideal way to repair soft spots - if you really want to go this way of repair you should use PU based self extracting glue of some sort ….

Great video! Do you think 20 ml on the shots is enough for a basic repair?

Nice repair :) considering doing some repairs myself. And been looking at different repair methods. What is your opinion using polyurethane foam ? I heard if epoxy got injected into the eps foam a chemical heat reaction can happen. Melting your core? Any thoughts thanks for the video gives me strength drilling into my board 😂

Is it possible to use only polyurethane foam spray which enlarges and fills soft areas instead of using epoxy resin?
