Enjoy your channel. Tour Sniper is an excellent string. I typically hybrid it with Tier 1 Ghostwire in the cross at 48/46 in the ET 360+. Great setup. Wasn’t a huge fan of M8. Very unique feel which some love and some don’t. I was the latter.
I love this string. Switched to it from tour bite and found it much nicer on my arm, more consistent, and more spin friendly Edit: plus, even when it starts to die, it still performs incredibly.
Curious to see your Game Changer review as well. It's my favorite of the lineup but the break in period is excruciating to me (highly erratic), so I went with sniper as my string of choice.
I have had a real of Tour Sniper for several years (I have lots of reals/sets of different strings) and only tried it twice. Didn't really like it. Maybe, I'll try it again. I'm using different sticks now (Pure Aero) and it might feel different in these frames. Been using Confidential lately. I tried Restring Zero but strung it to high and cut it out. I have a set of Grapplesnake Paradox Pro coming in to test next.
@@MPTennis Thanks for the amazing review.. I just wanted to check how the durability of the string was? I am planning to give this a try to tame the free power of my Ezone 100 that I am currently using with the polytour pro 1.25 since over a month.. I am a NTRP 3.5 level.. Would you say the tour sniper is durable enough to last over a month of regular play.. Or should I consider 1.30mm instead of 1.25 for durability?
I noticed some strange thing about this string - it feels much lighter in the racket… the same 1.25 gauge, the same racket (have matched pair), but just in hand the racket feels different as compared to other shaped polys. But then I measured the same length as other strings - 80 cm - and the weight is the same or even 0.1 or 0.2 grams higher (per 80 cm)… strange But the string is really good. Works nice in hybrid as mains with m8 as crosses
Hello. Which do you think directs the ball more to the exact place where we want it? For example when approaching, when searching for lines...Tour sniper or M8? I use a Blade 16x19 V9, but even so I'm looking for a string with more of the aforementioned type of control than spin.
What would the main difference be compared to Confidential? Which btw currently also is my preferred string in my Extreme Tours. An alternative set-up that I like esp agaist big hitters is Tourbite in the mains with YPTPY in the crosses.
How would you compare the spin potential of GRAPPLESNAKE TOUR SNIPER to TOROLINE TORO TORO? What about compared to SOLINCO CONFIDENTIAL or GRAPPLESNAKE TOUR M8? What about overall playability?
Andy I believe his racquets are wearing out and he won't be able to get that version any longer he won't have an option not to switch to some other racquet 😉🙋♂️🙏 anyhow post some new videos will ya!! haha 😅
You might want to replace your grommets on that ET sir... the head guard is all torn up from all that digging. Thanks for the review...I just purchased the avocado ET thanks to your reviews. I've tried RPM Blast and currently have Head Hawk Touch on it, so I'm trying different strings to see what works best for this racquet and my game. This string wasn't on my radar to try until now. Have you had a chance to try the new Medvedev string? The Technifibre Razor Soft? From the reviews, is sounds similar to this Grapplesnake string you described.
Dude. You strung it yesterday and now you are claiming it maintains its tension. Yeah for a day. Dude. You really are not equipped to be reviewing strings.
Thanks for the feedback, dude! Just a friendly reminder, I'm a college tennis player, not a pro stringer with all the pro stringer fancy gear. My superpower is sensing tension shifts faster than a superhero! 😄🎾 All kidding aside, at 2:28 in the video I said it "feels like it didn't lose tension". Both you and I know string jobs lose tension immediately, but I thought it was cool how this string felt like it didn't lose tension. Hope that clears things up.
@@MPTennis Tension maintenance is,established over time. Yes strings lose tension without being hit. Hypothetical. Racket strung at 50 lbs loses 9 per cent tension in first 12 hours. So a loss of 4.5 lbs. That's the tension the player associates as "50." As a player, I want my frame (strings) to sustain that tension over the course of its life. That is tension maintenance. Example. I tested Big Hitter Blue Rough 17. Strung it up and played it and really liked it. But the third day the tension had dropped. And with it the playability. Using the same frame, same string, I strung the racket 8lbs tighter.... It's expected loss of tension put it right in the zone of my perceived "playability." Reviewing strings is pretty much a thankless task. So many variables. The weight of the racket, the temperatures played the machine employed. And finally the players own nuanced understanding. And misunderstandings.

Just picked some up a month ago. Excited to try it

Same! I describe it to people as tour bite but lasts almost 2 months haha

Looking forward to the Grapplesnake Game Changer review!

I am and will

Excellent review! 🙏
What is up with Solinco sponsoring all of Tennis UA-camrs?!? lol
More bang for their buck with audiences instead of giving low level pros that may not have a following of year heads

M8 is delicious in the head extreme tour. It is a perfect fit and I think you may reconsider your racquet switch once you try it.

Going to have to try this....
Sounds right up my alley, going to order some today! Also, when did you start switching up the lead on your ET?
That was something I did back around March of this year

That is why the next upcoming videos are about racquets👀
I have not tried razor soft.
1.25 or 1.30 ?
Tried this string. Did not like it at all in pure strike 18x20. Not a lot of grip and balls would launch. Feel also wasn’t as good as lynx tour or 4g.
Made in germany?
Yes
What they paying you??
With a Solinco shirt!!!😅😅
Haha no paying. I just have this shirt.
☀️ Promo`SM
turn down your intro music please!
Will do. 👍
