I tried this string and I have some take aways too. I agree that I can literally feel the metal when I hit with this racquet and it's actually quite powerful for a poly. What I didn't like was the tension. I strung it up around 55lb and the tension dropped about 12lb after a day and the string stopped snapping back. This string spoils like milk under a hot sun. I cut it out because I kept overhitting with it. Who knows, maybe the string was about to break like you mentioned.
Tried a couple of Grapplesnake strings now and really like them; Tour M8 is my fave so far and might have to try a set of this one. A lot of their strings seem to have a similar profile / intended use though, but I like the comfort aspect of their feel.
I wonder how it would perform with Federer's Babolat Elastocross String Savers (Teflon so snapback shouldn't be a problem & might radically improve durability especially if caused by notching which I'm guessing was the case)
If you string your own racquets, like I do, that's when I wouldn't worry about strings breaking frequently. If you have to pay someone else to string for you, then I'd worry about it. I have a set of this coming in for testing.
@@MPTennis Got it. In my younger days, I used to break strings all the time. I used to break racquets, simply hitting the ball too! At other times, using my foot. Anyway, these days I just cut my strings out and restring. Just got a set of Paradox Pro in today. I might string it at 52/50 in my Pure Aero. I had Confidential 16l at 55/53. I tried Restring Zero at 55/53 and it was so awful I just cut it out (must feel better at lower tension).

Tried 16-gauge @ 50 lbs tension in my Rad Pro - Felt amazing! Get it at Grapplesnake: invi.tt/AELM

Would be really to hear this compared to restring zero

M8 is my favourite from them
Now with a stiffer and heavier Rad Pro all strings might only last 3-4h.. Thanks for the review, must try it now 😊
True
Good point…. Other strings are lasting longer though
Thanks for your review 😊
Thanks for this great review! sounds interesting indeed
do you have slow motion serve video? could be good for teaching serve content according to your style of serve
I could do a video for you on serve.

Ya I’ve never tried stringsavers before so I couldn’t tell u.

Yes…. I understand what your saying however I personally don’t want to string every other day. For me it was breaking to quick.

There are enough German made strings out there. , Tourna maybe the best
Which do you like from them? I tried the Big Hitter Silver 7 Tour & felt elbow soreness from it. I did like the spin though.
@@JimConzelman Tourna Big Hitter Black 7. That was amazing for the first two hours after restring.

worst string for Rec players. I got sold on the hype by the youtubers, stay away and save your money. There are much better options for the price.
What didn't you like?
