I do not use magnetic chargers for my phones but this is the ecosystem for my gadgets like mp3 players, Bluetooth speakers, portable radios, etc. Soooo convenient for poorsighted people like me. I bought lots of those magnetic heads so everytime i have a new device or gadget i just put one easily.
I bought mine and I love it it's so much easier than trying to poke your plug-in in the hole in your phone in the dark.
There's a light at the magnetic in so you can always tell if it has power it's very nice product I love mine.😊❤
Ideal video length for such a topic. Totally on point, but short and snappy. Nice!
Thanks so much!
I got mine for a birthday present and my phone doesn't even recognise them and will not charge, I tried the different cables and not one worked. So I've had to go back to my old cable 😢
That sounds odd. Ensure that there are no obstructions between the magnet ends that might prevent it from connecting. The magnets will attract anything that has metal in it. Use tape to dab the dirt/metal dust off.
I got a statik cord mabey 6 months ago and i charge my phone constantly and like you said it didn't charge fast enough but i do still like the idea of switching cables even tho im a Usb C user and i still use the cord for my smaller stuff such as my air buds and ps5 controller, and also note that they weren't necessary lieing about it being durable ive ran over the cord multiple times and its still in perfect condition.
Great review! Thanks!
I thought what a brilliant Idea but after a little while I found that they do not transfer data. Now I still have the hassle of having to change cables.
I bought this, and I am not unhappy.
Wizard design - 1 feature my apple phone case needed modification.
A fix would be lengthening the blade of the end.
I just got one not to long ago when I put it in my ipad pro 11 inch tablet it drains my battery on it what should I do
I have 2 sets of headphones and one is micro USB and the other is C, this will come in handy for easy charging!
I very excitedly bought a Statik charger 5/6 weeks ago. It worked for about a week! It will no longer charge phone or ipad. Are the refundable. HELP!
I found that whenever the cord snaps together but doesn't charge, it is only because of sand preventing a flat connection. Ensure that there are no obstructions between the magnet ends that might prevent it from connecting. The magnets will attract anything that has metal in it. Use tape to dab the dirt/metal dust off.
I actually keep reading these start fires. There's a reason why big tech hasn't even tried this. Volta started this like 10 years ago. I haven't seen Linus tech tips mention that sponsor in a while probably for a reason. Maybe in the future 😊

@@jimbobcheezeburger2020trust me bro*
@@jimbobcheezeburger2020its essentially a wireless charger if you think about it. Its using electromagnetic induction to send the power through. If not then they are just using metal and magnets to complete a contact but its exposed.. which is even more dangerous. Even the highly engineered wirelesss chargers had recalls and warnings given out to users.
You do know that Apple has had magnetic charging for years on some of their products?
@@ez8308 yes, not only apple but wireless charging is essentially magnetic charging. Its not new. But in a cable is wild. Those get tossed around cables fray and they lose their integrity. And the connection is exposed. You can really compare them even from just a quality standpoint
Thanks p great information honest and quick
No video seems to explain how to remove the manetic charge nubs. Like, what if I try the charger, decide its not for me, and want to remove the charging nub?
Some strong fingers, or your teeth.

Will CarPlay still work
I just got a 3d printed stand for my PlayStation portal and the cable situation is awkward. I think this would be the most amazing solution
Ive got these, they were not bad for first day or so,but they charge phones very slow, and keep connecting and disconnecting, even when its laid down, ive gone back to normal cables, the idea behind these are good, but need improvement

@@berkeyfamily9828 the area is clean, and so is the magnets
Another thing it depends on is your case me personally i had difficulty using the cord with my oter box phone case
I’d love to get one that doesn’t have the magnetic tip that can be changed. I just want the swivel so that the cord doesn’t get frayed. I have no reason to ever change it from the USB-C.
Nice review budda
2:29 when you connect the piece into the phone are they easily removable?
yea there's an indent on both sides of the tip so you can pry them out with your fingernails pretty easily
You fighting against the magnet if your phone has any type of attraction to it. Its a very snug fit and my big fingers make it a challenge, but as long as you can get something wedged in there they come right out.
Does the pro version work with Android Auto - is it fast enough ?
The cables come with 3 different fittings: Lightning (Apple), USB MIcro (Android), and USB-C (newer Apple and Android)
I got these and only opened one of the 3 that I originally bought. It worked awesome, but after the first time I disconnected it from my iPad it wouldn’t charge even though the blue light was on. So on a whim, I changed the port that I had connected to. It worked, but every time I disconnect it from my iPad I get the same result?
Has anybody had this problem? 3:20

is it safe?
Did this cable work for data transferring like Android Auto ?
You have to get the right model of the cable. The first batch of cables I bought (six of them for stocking stuffers for Christmas) were data transfer capable. I recently purchased two more off Amazon and didn't realize they were charging only cables. No wonder why they were such a good deal. So just pay attention to the fine print.
Hi! Look for 9 pin magnetic cables. Those charge and also transfer data. Also look for 100 watts to charge a bit faster.
Statik chargers suck. Bought 2 less than a year ago and both stopped working. Have $5 charger I bought at a gas station that lasted longer

Once the magnet makes contact with anything metallic it’ll short out
Has anyone had this cable stop working? All of my devices have the same type of port and it doesn't fit into my phone with the case, so I decided the tablet is the one to be plugged in with this cable. I was surprised to come home and see the tablet, which had been on the charger all day, was at 40%. I tried different blocks, different outlets, different devices and nothing was charging on my statik 360 cable. Not sure if this is a common problem or if mine got banged in a nearby drawer one too many times.

Seems they dont have phone cases in mind when using these. I don't see any of these designs fitting in my phone without removing the case.
I am researching this product and considering buying for myself and others. In doing so, I did find a post regarding this same complaint and Statik replied that they are presently working on their own phone-cases, they also requested that customers with this issue supply pics to aid in the design for the various cases.
My UAG Case seems to agree with them. I had to notch a different case, though
Really Want to know if it would damage my iphone 14 pro Max with time
No it will not damage your iPhone.
Is it just my cable or does anyone else’s Statik cable not play audio back through the cable?
of course it doesn't ;it's just two contacts for power only, read before purchasing
You need to buy the cable models that transfer data as well as power. Read the packaging to ensure you get the right ones.
Don’t know why but my iPad prod would not charge unless I first connected the cable to the magnetic bit and the plugged it in, so that defeated the object of having this setup. It must be a problem because the company gave me a full refund.
Can I transfer files with them
Only the cables that are made to transfer data. Read the advdertisements carefully so that you don't buy a pair of power only ones. There ARE different tiers of these suckers, which I didn't realize myself when I bought my 7th and 8th cables.
take it one step further... buy the magnetic cable that has a flowing LED light
Haha I did see that, maybe in a future vid! PS Welcome back!
I just received my order. The C adaptor keeps falling off my phone. Opened up another package same thing happened. What a rip off. Tried calling them, all it would do is let me leave a message. Im sure they will not be calling me back. Hack BASTARDS!!!
Sounds like your phone's USB C female port has "been around" if you know what I mean!
@berkeyfamily9828 No, bought another one off Amazon, works perfect. Theirs is defective.
It was crap
These are sooooo bad. Total waste of money. Dont buy
Why didnt you buy their ultra version to review? A bit stingy there
