Jim later parlayed that into a discussion about how he tried to be perfect in all that he did. But is this worth calling a cliche? This is so true! So many stars in WWE got hype squashed when they just chose to work all dates, get shoehorned into random tag scenarios, random feuds and just wouldnt go away in last decade. Charlotte literally only went away to get her tits done and Becky to have a kid. Guys barely ever go away through injury or otherwise. Jericho came out and immediately had his hype killed by The Rock and it only went downhill from there, for at least a year. He looked like chump change straight away, and I was a fan of Jericho at that time.

This might be honestly the biggest pop in wrestling history!!! Like most of you it took me a long time before I could even hear his music to make sure it was the same.
Thank you to both CM Punk and Tony Khan!!!!!!
ps-since he's already in AEW, how about Mrs. Punk joining him? I would love to see AJ Lee back in action.

I think Hogan in his Prime, Bret Hart in Canada, Stone Cold and The Rock in their prime, credit to John Cena for his good time he deserves credit where it is due... Only people who could match this pop though would be The Rock and Stone Cold... oh and The Undertaker... you might ask why no mention of Shawn Michaels and tbh, I was a bit of a fan of Shawn before, but he just could not compare to Bret Hart at his peek. Bret Hart's heel run was brilliance and he is like a Wrestling God in Canada, then you get Shawn Michaels who has great matches and great promos, but his a D, and a good D like Kevin Nash said

Amazing job on AEWs behalf and I'm so fucking happy that my two favorite wrestlers (Edge then CM Punk) growing up are back hopefully they can help craft the new generation

Its a great thing to see him healthy and happy. Regardless of what you think about AEW, working to reach Vince’s imaginary brass ring nearly killed him. Listening to the Cabana/Punk podcast changed my life for the better because like Punk, I was stuck working a terrible job but in my case, it was a non profit call center where it was like the WWE of call centers. Terrible upper management and politics where they took pleasure in destroying, overworking and humbling you. I had 3-5 co-workers die within 4 years. Listening to that podcast gave me the incentive to get the hell out and i’ve been doing better since.
