I had a great Kazbegi Full Day Tour in Georgia
I explored Kazbegi, the mountainous region of Georgia. I felt the spirit of Caucasus Georgia in the Caucasus Mountains. Took lots of beautiful photos, heard exciting parts of history, tried the traditional Georgian dish Khinkali (Dumpling), discovered the most beautiful part of Georgia and made unforgettable memories.
My first stop was the Zhinvali water reservoir on the Georgian military highway. The Soviets built the dam in the 1980s - a wonderful place to take amazing photos.
I Visited after the Ananuri Fortress, the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area around the 13th century. I saw stunning views of the fortress and the Zhinvali reservoir. I had lunch in Pasanauri, the birthplace of one of Georgia's traditional foods: Khinkali.
I admired the Monument of Friendship of the Georgian and Russian people in Gudauri on the Georgian Military Highway. I contemplated the history of this fascinating monument overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus Mountains.
Later I explored one of the most beautiful places in Georgia, the Gergeti Trinity Church in Kazbegi. I got a panoramic view of the entire Church Valley, which is one of Georgia's most iconic attractions. I was amazed by the view of Mount Kazbegi, 5,047 meters high.
In the end, I went to a local luxury hotel and I had a cup of hot chocolate in the elegant restaurant while relaxing with stunning mountain views.
