I come from a long line of moonshiners! Loved the photo of Stephen Fields. I am a Fields on both sides of my family. I have to claim him as an ancestor too.
Thanks for posting that! It was interesting to see where my mother, Ruby Mae Hogg, grew up in the 1930's and '40s (she left in the early 1950s to join the Air Force). I watched to see if any of my ancestors were pictured. I saw a couple Hoggs, but I don't think they were in my direct lineage.

Nicole Hall I think there are several Arlie Hall’s but two of them passed in 1962. I have since met a sister that proceeded to find not only me but four other siblings. Also found out that this Arlie born in southern Indiana. I’m wondering if they didn’t start out in Letcher Kentucky.
My family and I are of the Caudill family. We didn't know our grandfather, Kellos Caudill. However, we would love to hear from anyone that knew of him or his kin. Our extended family include the Crocketts and Cornetts of Letcher Co.
Wish I could watch these without the music. I can never understand why people create content and feel it necessary to add music or noise. If I want to look at your content I don’t need or want music. If I want music, I’ll go to utube
