It has always been a belief of Joss Wedon that it is better to hire comedy actors to do serious roles, because if you need them to be funny they can, where as the reverse isn't always true. It is harder to be genuinely funny than it is to get intense.

Seth Rogan does get more serious roles however being a actor like him he’s allowed to pick and choose and that’s why goes for the comedic roles, I mean hell he writes half of those roles anyways and the movie he writes as a whole is comedy. Hollywood doesn’t decide for him and this also goes for many other actors of his caliber.

Nope. Jobs was mainly a businessman and tried to claim the same level of credibility that someone of his stature would if he was also a professional programmer on the edge of technology and the programming elite, that was driving the company forward from that perspective. History has seen Woziniak to be the victor in this debate, and that is a good thing. Jobs was a great businessman, remember him as that, its what he deserves, he wasn't the be and end all when it comes to Apple and never was, but it was advantageous to sell that idea while he was alive.

I wish I knew, its always fun reading back old comments you forgot you even made. But i'd say it was a segway into my subsequent comments about jobs, aiming at his attitude towards whom he was in the grand scheme of things at apple. I think smart water misunderstood me and warped my comment to being "just a businessman" when I stated "mainly" which was his core role, he wasn't involved in R&D and coding that lead to many of Apples early innovations and products. Having said that, businessman play a vital role in building a business, and he did a great job with Apple, but he also placed himself front and center like he was a computer scientist that was developing many of Apples products (at least that's how he came across, and many people believed it for a long time), and that it was his market research that lead to the development of many products, when that simply wasn't the case. He was great at selling that idea of himself to the world, which helped the company sell products like gangbusters, but his rise was also at the expense of some of the people that actually did do that work and helped him get there - but that's business for you, its not all clear sailing and high fives. Jobs still deserves to be remembered, but its worth sorting through the myths and good PR to see him for what he was and what he actually brought to the table, instead of this romanticized tech genius character he built himself up to be, when in reality he was just one part of the cog that made that company what it was and flourish while he was still alive. I'm glad that in subsequent years that more and more of the actual story has surfaced, and we now are able to give credit where credit is due to all that were involved, including Jobs, but in a more measured manner.

But when Apple went public he didn't give any stock to his friend because he didn't think he deserved any. When Jobs worked at Atari, he was promised $5K if he could finish a game in 3 weeks, Steve asked Wozniak to help him at nights and said that they were getting paid $700.00 and Steve would split even with Wozniak, he basically lied about knowing how to finish the game and lied to his friend to do it.

I’ve never really pictured Seth Rogen in a non comedic role. But he does great job with his performance as Steve Wozniak.

I know this is late but microsoft only did it to avoid being labeled as a monopoly. They were already having netscape battle at the time and couldn't afford monopoly case to break up the company
