that was not enjoyable
Impressive yet, straight trash
I thought it was yummy I’ve never seen anyone like be negative under these comment sections but I like the duality
It's because they make terrible music
@@finestjellybeansrawlol9486 Whats so terrible about it
@@Iluvbackwoodz the music
More notes than a whole country music festival
a pop country fan is gonna see this and definitely say “mOrE nOtEs doEsnT meaN iTs BeTTer”
sure but less than 5 chords is not a standpoint to be talking from.

The fact that this is an opener is insane. Imagine who they opened for
I think this is from their recent run with White Chapel and Entheos. I've seen Archspire and Entheos down here in Florida and they're both incredible to watch live (:
This was from the Tampa FL show this year. They opened for Whitechapel who I am working on uploads for at the moment.
Deftones 😂
Probably some poser metalcore band
Yeah it was white chapel
The drummer looks like he belongs in a videogame - but I can't tell if he's a shop vendor that sells you cymbals, or if he's the final boss.
He's both.
Spencer Prewett, vendor of Sawblade Cymbals. Perfect for shredding drums and shredding human skin!
last boss in revolutionX
This polka band is awesome!!
Aphex Twin on the drums, nice
Archspire is criminally underrated
Thank you
Too right
bro they're the biggest tech death band right now...
@@paveantelic7876 They are?
@@nickkohlmann uhh, yeah, without question
u sure? i counted only 2319
I counted 2318.5
@@samuelsantos-bu3xy ok, might have to recount then :-)

2319?! WE GOT A 2319!!
@@AlystrZelland get that white sock off my back 👾
More notes played than all of acdc's career
in only 23 seconds
... is this like a pissing contest?
But there were only like 6 chords back then
and equally as trash and boring
Haha thats pretty funny
The amount of people who don't know who archspire is in the comments is depressing me.
Top 3 Tech death bands ever, and best current Tech death band. Imo
For me it’s a three way tie between Gorod / First Fragment / Archspire - they’re all pushing the limits of tech death. My First Fragment videos I haven’t uploaded yet have cuts of just the spiciest solos/riffs. 2024 will be a grand year for Tech Death
@@UnitedYeets from a technical standpoint spawn of possession is crazier but archspire has more solid songwriting
archspire is the ipa of death metal
I was gonna go with very clean cocain of death metal but this is ok
This is the most spot on take about metal I’ve read in a while
This is not about art. This is about unlimited excersises
Seen Whitechapel with these guys a couple weeks ago. Not my style of music, but damn did that drummer have some technical skill.
Yooo, me too! Watched them at Fort Lauderdale, with Signs of the Swarm. I knew them before the concert, but wasn’t expecting them to perform alongside deathcore bands
They're a technical death metal band so that would probably explain why the drummer had some technical skill
@@skin4580 its tooo technical
@@f1awsy No
Saw them on the same tour, maybe the same show. The drummer's face through the "fast" parts was funny
Yo this show was sick, So glad I got to meet them
Aphex Twin is hell of a drummer
He’s even got the bling holy shit! 😭
Why Drummer is Aphex twin lol
If "Whatchu call me?" Was a person
Sometimes you just gotta make a song that achieves feats like that 😂
I've always said Archspire is just Dethklok on 3x speed
Of all of the takes in the comments i think you got the funniest and actually comparable one. 👍
Except dethklok’s music is way way better, it would sound better than this too even if you sped it up a bunch
That's honestly a pretty awesome take
More notes that all trap music genre
real
I play drums for around 15 years i still get shocked by the level of tech and good composition these guys have, specially in this last album.
Dave Otero is the sixth band member tying it all together imo
Oli spittin up there bwoi
I’m definitely feeling the Cab Calloway and Englebert Humperdinck influences here.
I heard acrhspire album just once and from the first notes i new that was archspire song
Oh my goodness the 32nd notes there wow
I like your funny words magic man!
drummer looks like he meditatin
God i sure do love putting a song on and understanding literally nothing 👍
Why is Apex Twin on drums
My friebd got to see these guys in a smoll town, and no one knew who they were. I was so jeallous.
Your English teacher should be punched.
0:18 great place to catch his breath lol
Cool shirt.
Dudes are speedrunning metal headbang%
aphex twin on the drums
How did youtube know i was at that show
If you watch the full video you might be able to see yourself

00:19 DAMN!
and i just clicked on it cuz I thought it was Apex Twin on the drums
seizures
The thumbnail look like that cover from Aphex Twin
hehe his beard looks funny moving up and down.
Не знал что бадюк в дескор группе играет
Stay Tech!!!
And they even had space for more notes from sec 18 to sec 21, could have easily gone past 3000....
Mmmmm Archspire mmmmmmm
I cant tell if the bass drums are ahead of the timing or behind the timing. Oh well, the drummer IS the timing i guess.
If you talking about the fast parts is 32nd notes played on grid
If you like it or not is one thing, but if you listen to the studio version of this and can't hear any melody, your simple ears are better off sticking to metallica
i was supposed to see them but i forgot to go
Happens to the best of us
pop music 😌
Dont get me wrong, as a drummer I am extremely impressed by drummers that can do that with their feet. I just think it sounds bad
thought the drummer was aphex twin
I can not understand why there would be anymore than ZERO in attendance
I think that's more like 232 notes
Bro could be a rapper lol
Amazing thumbnail 😂
Thank you! Choosing the right sequence for the right thumbnail for the right song of an artist from a whole night or two of shows makes my uploading patterns slow but I think I have a rhythm going now🫠
Looks like they’re all getting tatted up
All these haters in the comments can’t keep up with the fast blast beats and guitars 🤦🏻♂️ stop hating on Archspire
I can’t keep up because it just doesn’t sound good lol, so many better metal genres out there too
@@puppetmaster8551 what's "better" though 🤔
Vocalist has his left arm the same way Eminem does
this band is super talented, but these vocals and drums, can't take them seriously
i thought seth rogan was on the drums for a sec in the thumbnail
Is this a Scott Ian doppelganger band?
Spencer Prewett please
what he say?
People will say this is trash and then go listen to Metallica's 72 seasons saying its good smh
I call metalica "baby's first metal"

How do I even move/dance to this lol

trying to dance to technical death metal? I can't tell if that's ironic or serious, but either way the imagery is REALLY funny
What kind of good ass camera filmed this?
captured on an iPhone 14 Pro using Filmic Pro (sometimes Beastcam and sometimes standard camera app) with post processing done on Final Cut Pro X.
@@UnitedYeets looks great dude
@@Poignant_Ritual thanks! I’m sitting on a large backlog all the way to last November, it’s just hard to edit and post-process these videos but also go to all these shows and still have time for other things in life haha. I post on all kinds of genres, if you want more you can always sub or check out my public playlists that have the full versions of my clips.
I was expecting subtle notes of sage and juniper but the sound guy should be fired.
Once they started getting faster than Necrophagist, I sorta checked out of this kinda stuff....
I don't put down what people like for music, this stuff is definitely not my taste, but at the same time I don't understand the appeal. I even looked up the album version of the song and it just doesn't make sense to me. The intro was cool but then it becomes a jumbled mass. I'm sure these guys are great players of their respective instruments, to me it just feels like going faster for the sake of going faster. To each his own, I'm glad people enjoy it.
Necrophagist never hits for me. Archspire is it's own genra. They sound like they're playing a billion miles an hour but its all played so perfectly and it's mixed so well that when you blast it you can still actually hear the individual parts all being played at the same time. My favorite example is Golden Mouth of Ruin. There is so much going on but its all so fucking tight that it still manages to have a groove to it.
That bass player taps like the guy from necrophagist too, absolutly awesome
@George N people who say tech death is fast noise actually just have slow processing with fast music, that's normal if you haven't been exposed to it much, but it takes practice. This is part of the appeal, it's ALOT REALLY FAST so it takes multiple listens to fully understand what the music is doing. It's not easy to listen to its very hard to listen and understand at that speed, complexity, and power. So as you listen over and over the song becomes more clear and you start to feel a connection because of the listening effort. Hope this helps!
@George N also looking at sheet music also helps to understand the complexity, but that's for nerds like me lol
What song is this??

So?
Бадюк?
Great sing a long song for the family.
Faster please. Nobody does what Archspire does.
I love archspire and all the tech bands but it really sucks when they don’t sound like that live, the only band that truly sounded like the album live was Revocation
based on a shitty phone recording you come to the conclusion that they dont sound as good live as on the album?
imo they sound great live
seen archspire twice they sound fantastic live, just like the album. they nail those solos too
@@karim6119 I’ve seen them live and they were not tight like the album, maybe winding down from a tour but definitely not like the album
ORIGIN is faster live than on record. also clean af
Ive seen them twice and they sound damn near spot on to the album recording but thats just my experience
Cool drums bad riffs
Very impressive, but a bit much for my tastes. To me its like a cake with too much frosting, there's so much frosting I can't taste the cake. There's so many notes I can't enjoy the melody. And this is coming from someone who likes a lot of progressive and tech death. Stuff like Ne Obliviscaris and Rivers of Nihil are more my speed, but still very impressive what Archspire does, and I'm not taking anything away from them, its just not my thing.
i`ve never seen a chick at a death metal concert #gay
Idk how every death metal show I go to is loaded with wemon and there are death metal bands that are fronted by wemon and some entirely comprised of wemon and badass bands
Here is the thing. I have been listening to Death metal or really metal in general for over 20 years and while I do enjoy tech death.......if its just notes for the sake of notes and while I respect the fact they can recreate this live by memorizing scales and patterns the substance just lacks for me. I miss the Arsis, Gorod, Decrepit Birth style of tech. Archspire is technically a great band.... just not one for me. Kind of like Brain Drill and I think thats why I get older I start referring more and more back to old school metal or bands of the old school ilk like Haunt, Enforcer, Hell Ripper and such. Or even just listen to At The Gates and Dismember and let all the dudes that are younger that are like " FUCK YEAH BRO LISTEN TO ALL THAT!"....... yeah thats great man. Enjoy that but I can't pay money for no substance or even lack of well constructed SONGS. Write a song. Hook me.
I appreciate the thought and time you put into this comment and I do agree on how great those other tech death bands are. Especially Arsis and Gorod. I am sitting on Gorod footage from their USA tour from 3 weeks ago and I am going to make one of those my next upload seeing you just mentioned them.
@@UnitedYeets solid sir
You’ve articulated exactly how I feel about archspire, everything’s there talent wise except I feel empty listening to them.
I think archspire makes a ton of catchy melodies in every song
@@davesiddons8921 Archspire is the equivalent of classical music wrapped up in a metal "facade" so to speak. A lot of it isn't easy listening, but they intersperse so much melody into the madness.
Theres music out there for everyone...who is this for? The sociopathically insane?
Probably the most mid band in existence
Triggers. Lame.😊
Wtf is this
This is quantity over quality.
Try doing things slower, one at a time and better. 😂
That was bad, damn
Too bad it sounded horrendous. Makes Limp Biscuit look like Mozart.
i used to be a metalhead...now it's just some white noise
Anyone remember when metal had feel and it wasn't just how many notes, blasts and words you can fit into 3 minutes? What an absolute pile of noise.
But you can’t understand anything
Some people don’t care about the lyrics. Some folk only care about drums, while others normally tune into the guitars, and some just the vibe/light show. Either way, I think these guys are particularly polarizing, people only love them or hate them lol - nothing in between.
You say this like if every other death metal bands vocals are clear and easy to understand
All this technical ability, yet they fail to make good music lmao. It's kind of tragic, all of these guys are way better than I ever could be at their respective instruments but it's all wasted by playing this uninspired mess, just playing technical stuff for the sake of it being technical. Why?
Boring ahh riff
Those guitarists deserve a better drummer.
how dare you
No, Spencer is a god behind that kit
You’re wrong
Excuse me? Lmao
Ghey.
No feeling, or musical at all! But fast!

Archspire is badass in concert, that is a garbage recording...
