@@GregsGarage You’re welcome. First time I ordered something from across the pond (I‘m located in Germany). Was well worth the money (plus custom fees, 50 Euros, damn vampires) and the fear if it ever will arrive.
Awesome tool I ordered the complete kit and just received it very fast shipping less than a week WOW. You mentioned about having the designs for the blocks available to 3D print would it be possible to get them. Thanks again for a awesome tool
This is great tool to have. I have a question for you. What happened if have a square tube that is 1mtr or 36 inches long but you only sell 12in extension bars
I bought the Seams Impossible tool but I have a questions. The side screws to affix the tool in the jackets don’t line up. The screw hole in the tool is closer to open edge of the jacket. I can see the majority of the screw hole in the tool. So can I adjust the screw holes in the jackets, making them slight oval versus round?
Jim, I just notices a few parts 2-3 weeks ago where the holes were off-line a bit. I looked at our drilling jig and the guide for the side holes got egg-shaped, and I didn't catch it... You can definitely enlarge the holes without it affecting the performance of the jacket. The jacket and shims are a VERY loose tolerance situation.
Are you looking for the ultimate set? If so, I didn't realize the store showed them as out of stock. I listed them again, so you should be able to order. If you have any issues let me know and we can get you taken care of.
Yes. We have the deluxe kits available. The ultimates have a few parts out of stock right now. We hope to have everything back up by the end of the week.
Yes. We have them on the shelf and ready to ship. We have the tool only, the Deluxe Kit (tool, burr fasteners & extension) and the Ultimate Kit (tool, burr, fasteners, shims, jackets & extension.). You can also buy individual items without buying the entire kit(s). gregsgaragekc.com/store/
@@evanb.1272 I just did some smaller 1/4" wall structural pieces. It took 2-3 passes some times because of the width of the weld seam. At 4-1/2" you'll need to create a jacket. You can make a steel one out of some smaller tubing and then weld a small box where the tool goes. A few well placed holes and you're cooking with gas.
@@atmm89 It's just a measurement. You either work to the dimension or you don't. I work in both systems and they are identical with regard to modes of failure. One is decimal the other is fractional. I learned both in 2nd grade.
@@GregsGarage yes, you guys are used to it, because you use it all the time but for us in Australia we only know metric, fractional we did learn it in school as well but that was a long, long time ago, and wen you do not use it you forget it, fractional is a foreign language to us, hence why we only understand metric, hope you understand my feelings. In a word "BRILLIANT" idea my friend, I for one will be ordering a complete kit from you. What a great tool for any welder/metal worker to have.
ok if you are in the US but not outside
Scooch room! That's awesome!
Oh yeah! We can dial it in sweet now.
I just received my tool. Works. Like. A. Charm. Every buck you earn with it is well deserved. Nothing more to say.
Theo - Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad the tool is working well for you!!!

A great kit. Job well done.🇨🇦
Thanks Greg!
I bought the kit and love it. Quality tool. USA!!
nice job, very cool tool development
Thanks for showing how to use the shims... Where are the fusion files located?
Will the tool do 3/4” tubing without the jackets?
Hi Greg
Do you have the kits in metric and do you sell and ship (send) to Luxembourg 🇱🇺 EU?

Do you ship to Australia. Just come across your yountube channel.
Nice tool, sure works good Greg.
Thanks Randy. We are having a lot of fun with this.
how much for the whole kit
Cool idea!
Thanks Bruce!

You can buy different extensions at HD , etc. I have 2 , 3, and a actually made a 7 foot for another project.
Very nice. What would be the maximum length for the drive rod?
We've used 5 extensions at 12" each to remove the seam on a 4'-6" tube. I suspect you could do even more if you need to.
Thank you! (on my way to your site) @@GregsGarage
Much better than a long file.

Great - I’ll make the adjustments to them and press on - thanks
That's cool buddy!

I hope you're having a great weekend as well.

Yes. We have the deluxe kits available. The ultimates have a few parts out of stock right now. We hope to have everything back up by the end of the week.

Good stuff Greg. Happy 4th you to.
Thanks Jerry! Hope you had a good Canada Day!
Pretty slick...
We've been having fun with it!
Everyone, get the Tool!
Gregg, will this tool work pushing in from the end as opposed to pulling?
Evan, I use it both ways. It's easier to start if you pull it, but you can push it through and it works just fine.
@@GregsGarage thanks, for getting back to me. We will be using it to fab a bunch of 4 1/2" structural columns. I'll let ya know how it goes.

metric would have being so much easier
Nah. It takes the same amount of machining whether you're imperial or metric. The mill doesn't understand units.
@@GregsGarage what I meant is that there is far less chance of making mistake when using metric
