90% of cosplay parts of events can be taken as Cringe altough you have to take in the fact, doing something as good as the Stalker that was on stage or that Excalibur can be extremely difficult. Cosplay parts of events are more to showcase how dedicated the community is and how creative they can get.
To all peeps who cringe at the cosplay: Not many average people who make cosplay are going to make top notch stuff. It's flipping hard to make good cosplay and takes a lot of time. Trust me, I've tried. And failed. With that in mind expectations should probably be lowered a bit. Some may be better than others but in the end if all the people who had "terrible cosplay" hadn't made their outfits, there probably wouldn't be much of a contest. With that said: THE IGARO(?) Warframe is the hardest costume i've try to make. The details are freaking damn too much lol the best way to make this is Sculpt and mold it with slicone just like the guy in the stage

Actually,for some functional purpose,I would try to fit in a tiny microphone inside the bastet helm for Valkyr and add a really loud speaker on the outside of the helmet,idk where,but somewhere that it ties into the look crazily good.
I'm gonna start with the thing I found the funniest, the operator chick wearing basically a latex bodysuit, GG. I thought that the guys who made weapons were awesome, especially the guy with the Akmagnus and Prisma Dual Cleavers, definitely proud of himself. My favorite of the operators has to be the girl with the Manduka set mostly because it is in a similar color scheme to my in-game operator. Definitely going to try to go next year with whatever I try to make.
Its a cosplay CONTEST, they have to be open to criticism and people are saying that its cringy. Having a weapon of the game is not a cosplay, who are you? Wich character are you by using one single weapon that anyone in the game can use? And also there are rly some that doesn't even look like cosplayers, just a person wearing a edgy dress or something like that.
