Riften. There's a very nice house you can buy just outside the city gates that has rich, rustic Nord charm and a tight collection of crafting stations with the turn-in close by. It also has the virtue of being the stylistic anti-Alinor for those of us who loathe Altmers and everything they represent. The high elf motif should have as its design for all staves a tiki torch.
Best house to buy is Alinor Townhouse.

I only just now figured this out, but the base gold reward you get for doing writs is based only on your character's level, not their crafting skills. You could do writs with no crafting skill needing only stuff like iron, maple and pewter and still get 664 gold for it as long as you're level 50.
However, the other rewards ARE based on crafting skills so in the long run it's still better to max them.

Only thing different is choose Rawl’Kha for those with only the base game. The crafting tables aren’t all together, but they are close and no load screens to access any tables.
I use this too as each table is in line if you go down the list. Or jump around your list and you can hit them all without backtracking.

Vivec is great because of pickpocketing for motifs as you go with the Outlaws Refuge by the hand in
Vivec is indeed the best, I even go far and beyond that. Here is a trick I know. There is a wooden pier when you deliver writs, to its left, which faces the vivek temple. Go there an use emote "kneel praying". You are now facing towards the vivek temple and honoring God Vivek which increases your chances to get gold master writs and other lucrative gifts. Try it.

Kevduit forgot to mention that you need a lot of spare skill points on all your characters for this method to work. And extra skill points is a resource that I unfortunately don’t have right now . 😑
84 skill points are needed for this. If you want to make money respec and focus the points into crafting and build your characters out from that. The player has to weigh what's more important. Making gold first or having an alt that you occasionally play content with first. I always go with the former as writs are fast and easy to do while running content on multiple characters daily, not so much.
@Inklings_ESO I only have one character who fits that criteria. I’ll give the method a try though.
If anything this gives me a reason to level my level 3 toons. 😁

Beyond writs, doing the guild dailies on your characters also quickly stacks money, and dolmen jewelry sells well. However dailies are time consuming for multiple characters.

Another useful thing to note is the survey maps that said crafting writs provide, usually dumping a bunch (Around 100) of raw resources which can be refined for a chance at gold tempers, which can be easily sold for even more gold.
Aside from that, this method is not a fast means of getting rich by any stretch. At least, not for players who only have one dedicated crafter.
On the subject of dailies, motif farming is a good way to earn gold and does not require the long and tedious grind of crafting. Certain quests involving world bosses or delves in DLC regions or Chapter regions. Said motifs usually go for 10-20k a page.

regarding jewel crafting grinding ... you can dolmen grind for levelling and then decon the jewelry loots
regarding enchanting grinding ... you can zombie grind in Coldharbour for levelling and Fighter Guild XP and decon the glyph loots

It's not as easy as it is explained on the video. It's EXTREMELY time consuming. And you have to lvl up 8 toons in crafting. I only have ONE toon (my main) that knows all motifs.....and I have not got a large Master Writ since early summer...but get LOTS of small ones that I deem...."not worth my time". And....am a Grand Master Crafter. I do these dailies EVERY day.....and on Sunday past, I deposited the gold from my 7 alts for the past 4 weeks...and the total was (rounded to the nearest 5k), $1,085,000.00, not including all the gold/purple mats, recipes, master writs, etc that I get. That said....very lucky I harvest a lot.... because it is very hard to keep a decent supply of materials. Those surveys WILL come very handy to help in that area. This method WILL pay off.....but...it will take LOTS of time if you have no capitol/mats to hurry things along. And learning all those "traits"? Unless you buy tons of research scrolls....you in for a long haul. I just went lvl 50 on woodworking, blacksmithing and Tailoring on the other 7 toons and maxed out the passives (and yes....you need a SHIT TON of skill points) on those....and just work up the rest slowly over time. I have almost 50 million now...but most that was from HARVESTING RAW MATS. And I spent about 2 X the number that I mentioned since I been playing. YES...this method makes you gold, it just ain't going to be tomorrow.....if you work hard....maybe 6 months....but I give it a year. It's not that easy. And the motifs? Last spending spree I did to complete rest of motifs I needed to have ALL (at the time) was almost 5 million gold spent. Good luck people...you gonna NEED it.

I have shown on stream how to take a new character, level it to 50, get the skill points needed and all achievements for max master writ drop rate in under 6 hours. Its only slow cause its your first time doing it. When i first started getting my characters ready for writs, it took me a loooooong time as well. It gets easier and much faster with practice.

Reselling is cancer, plus it's incredibly tedious and market fluctuations can swing one way or another for days/weeks at a time.

So I have a question is their any archer builds in eos? And not for pvp I have little to no interest in pvp but archery has always been my fave way to play oblivion and skyrim and I've been dabbling with it in EOS but just wanted to know if theirs certain characters and classes that will make a much better archer? Keep in mind I'm a noob I haven't played a class building game since diablo 3 and this seems to be way way more complicated then Diablo 3
Lately I’ve gotten in the habit of doing writs and earlier tonight I even sold a master writ (I won’t know what I might have gotten for it until probably tomorrow), then did some quests and I still can’t seem to be doing great on making good gold.

This is something I thought of 6 months ago, after getting max crafting on 4 characters I realized crafting quests do not work ... why you ask? Because you don't have enough mats such as Rubite, ruby wood and ancestor silk to keep going daily!.. you run out very very fast, you are going to be spending hours hunting back materials or wasting $ buying mats ... and the drop rate for writs are absolute garbage. Even though you have tons of motifs the writs you get are small, and there are not many buyers out there because there is limited market for writ points. I do all daily crafting quests on my crafters and I only get 1 shit writ maybe every 2 weeks... not worth the materials!!!!! ... you want to know what can make you more money? selling stacks of materials themselves. Or getting a mageblade and mass murdering in a place I won't tell you about...
KenpachiBeast Idk about that “shit drop rate” you speak of. I get at least one Master writ everyday on a single Master crafter toon. While the standard master writ is worth ~10 writs, it’s not uncommon to get a 50+ at least once a week (which are immediately sold as I don’t use my gold mats except for my personal gear/weapons)
best way to make gold is : Go to craglorn, farm everything until you have 5 potent. You will get tons of farming mats and fortified nirn which you can use to make nirnhoned armor and sell them for atleast 3k each on the guildstore. Sell potent nirn for 9k a piece. Sell raw mats for 16k a stack you should have 5 stacks of these by the time you get 5 nirn, or refined mats for atleast 8k. You will also get tempers if you refine them that's lots of extra gold (Tempering alloy, dreugh wax, rosin these sell fast). Farming crag is the best way along with doing daily writs. Oh the craglorn farmers are going to hate me for telling you this. Please note : Research nirnhoned trait on weapons and armor for an increased chance of potent and fort drop rate. The more you have researched, the more they will drop.
Buy the refined mats at Master Merchant prices. They're cheaper than raw mats, easy to find on traders. The returns you get from writs more than covers what you spend. You get back some gold, more mats to use or sell, recipes, and tempers/rosin/dreugh wax which sell for 2k-4k. And you get surveys, which means you can pick up more raw mats very easily. As for Master Writs, people absolutely do buy them. They buy them all the time cos people want craft stations and gold furniture for their houses and guild houses etc. (If you're playing on console I can't speak to that but on PC servers, they definitely sell.) If you have Master Merchant and the WritWorthy addon, and price your writs so that the mat cost + purchase price equals 800 or less gold per voucher, they should sell fast.
@Chase Roman - HOW?!?!! .. im a daily player and I crafting on my master crafter every damn day! and it barely gives me master writs.. not even standard ones... literally barely get 1 under 10 writ every 2 weeks... This is on Ps4 .. are you on PC?
@Kenpachi How many motifs do you know? Recipes? Etc. My crafter knows every motif pre-Summerset, all but the top two gold recipes, and has nearly every crafting achievement possible and I get an "average" of 1 per day. I might go 3-4 days without a single one, then have 2-3 days in a row where I'm getting multiples. Case in point: Last night I got an enchanting for 2, an alchemy for 2, a blacksmithing for 5, and a clothing for 17. I'm on Xbox, if it matters.

Yeah, I've been trying to the writs on all my characters. The problem is you first need to level them all and go skyshard hunting for this to realy work cause you need A LOT of skillpoints to unlock all the needed crafting skills (I believe it's something around 75 skillpoints). You will need to spend a lot of time to get on the level to make this work.
Its 84 points needed now with jewelry crafting. Skill points are not hard to get nor take a lot of time. Just leveling to 50 gets you almost 70 skill points. A quick public dungeon blitz in base zones gives you another 21. I have taken brand new characters and get them to 50 and all set up for writs in under 4 hours.

furioustrooper yep. Get all LVL 1 training gear and make sure it’s purple color lol. Go to Alikir desert type LFDG. The grind dolmens. Maybe take around 4 days average if you take breaks to hit 1-50 lol if ur new just play the game tho and enjoy the storylines. There’s no rush in ESO.
dont grind , just do every quest in every area , i hited lvl 50 in 2 days. no exp scrolls no ring of maria ,just my char with the basic game , u get alot of skill points from quests plus skyshards on your way to lvl up. plus alot of gold etc . and u learn how to play every ability. Eso doesnt have a hard lvl up.
@@user-gq8ig8nt3c u just start from the starting area and do every single quest , example , i started from auridon , then graghood then the one next to it , every quest i found plus dungeons as a healer . Lvl 50 😀 and i continiu doing them for the skill points
Since they changed the game to scale with you levelling isn't as important as it used to be, just play and enjoy the game at your own pace
