A sunny day EMU cab ride on the Mid Sussex/Arun Valley line from Bognor Regis to Horsham. Second part of the ride, Horsham to Victoria via Three Bridges follows next week.
Thanks for the trip. I was born in the UK and spent many holidays with friends near Horsham. Brought back many memories. Live in Perth Western Australia now for many years. Still miss the UK
Oh this one takes me back. Thanks again for posting. Curious that it stopped at Amberley but not Christs Hospital... 10 years later the opposite scenario was much more likely. Also interesting to see just a tiny bit of track for the Midhurst platform still there at Pulborough. And an almost empty car park! (filmed on a Sunday?) ... that situation was a nightmare by the mid 00s.
Yes your right 4VEP or 4CIG (more likely) but there's no note as to which. Rather than guessing l have used the ambiguous EMU so people don't tell me of for getting it wrong !

I wonder what made the sound jump out of sync near Amberley. Either way, another great video of how things used to be.
good morning viewers. yeeep another one here..wicked, via the arun (i can’t spell that name!!) valley 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Nailed a bird on the way to Barnham, thud.
What was the unit being driven!??..No traction motor noise so must be a VEP/CIG as motors are located amidships n not at each end.
