Sir vince, maraming salamat sayo kasi marami ako natutunan. 8 years ago nahatakan kami ng brand new na car na binili namin kasabay nun mga default na credit cards. Dahil dun natuto ako mag budget at lahat po is by cash transaction dahil nawala po lahat ng cards. Nag search ako sa net at kayo yung isa sa lagi ko pinapanood. Ngaun po this month ang 5th year ng MP2 ko po. Yung makukuha ko po dun plus ipon on the side makakabili na po ng decent 2nd hand car. Currently, ginagamit po namin is 1993 sedan, may bahay at lupa na din po, may isa pa pong property na hinuhulugan para sa future na paupahan, at 3 pa po ang acct ko sa mp2. At higit sa lahat wala pa rin pong cards pero wala na pong utang. Iba pala talaga ang pakiramdam ng may financial freedom. Salamat po.

Sir, lagi kami nagtatalo ng asawa ko dahil jan. Second hand lagi binibili namin kasi wala naman siya pambili na cash. Natuto lang ako sa inyo magtabi ng para sa longterm goals gaya ng kotse.

I agree, Sir. Bought my first car in cash. I saved up for it. May budget lang talaga ako including the repairs, maintenance etc. Though it is a second hand car it serves its purpose naman. From point A to point B. :)

Real talk lang hindi naman 50% depreciation ng car lalo na kung naalagaan ito ng mabuti at mababa ang mileage ng car. Depende yan sa car kung laspag at mataas na ang mileage yun baka pwede nyo mabili ng 50% pababa. We are on a buy and sell car business. Pero i totally agree sa lahat ng bagay na gusto natin dapat pag ipunan muna then buy in cash if you are a wise buyer. Pero depende sa situation kasi tulad ng iba need na nila rightnow ng car for their transpo but doesn't have the funds to buy in cash kaya they don't have a choice but to get a car loan. Kasi mas expensive mag commute kung marami kayo sa family at yung comfort na hindi makipag habulan at siksikan sa public transpo. But again it's wise to buy in cash than pay high intrest loans. And yes it is WISE decission to buy a 2nd hand and in excellent condition car. Dami dyan halos bago pa nahatak na ng bank. Haha
