    You're a rockstar brother. That heat craft site was immensely helpful to my graduating students.

    I’ve been searching like crazy online and couldn’t find what I was looking for. Your video actually told me everything I needed to know. Compressor stays running in defrost and I believed it to be my solenoid but it stayed powered with 110v even though it’s a 208v system. I thought that was the issue but your video explained that it isn’t. It’s ok to receive the 110v, it will still close the solenoid. So mine is getting Stuck open which is not allowing the system to pump down. Awesome. Thanks man ✌️

    Thanks for a very clear explanation, God bless you. I think what you're doing is very noble sharing your knowledge to the new guys,since school doesn't teach you certain things and guys in the field don't either.

    Thanks! I finally understand how it’s interacting with the solenoid. Been a mental block for me.

    Glad you mentioned the fact the “N” is still hot. I’ve been bit to many times to count. Usually in a rush. Be careful guys. I started working on a rubber floor mat when possible.

    makes sense. Think about a contactor with one shunted leg in a residential condensing unit. One side always gets 120v, but nothing happens since the compressor and condenser fan motor both need 220v to run.

    Walk in cooler with a chattering contactor on the condenser. What do you think. Has a penn A421 control. I’m new to the walk in cooler world

    • @Cscrefandhvac
      @Cscrefandhvac  14 днів тому

      make sure proper voltage is going to the contactor coil and all wires connections are tight . The contactor could be going bad also try replacing that after checking voltage and connections

    Hi, can you explain how condensing units are connected to case lineups (example, 36 feet of produce, or three 12 ft cases) ? Are the thermostats in all 3 cases connected in parallel with each other, and in series with the liquid line solenoid coil? Thanks.

    • @Cscrefandhvac
      @Cscrefandhvac  2 роки тому

      Usually each case would have its own thermostat and solenoid . The tstats would not be wired together , each case would be on its own

    I've a buffer thermal storage tank. I need to turn on a load when top stat drops to 45c and not turn off until bottom stat reaches 50c. Can anyone tell me what device I need to do this? tia

    • @Cscrefandhvac

      You’d have to wire it into the low pressure control or compressor contactor coil
