Great list. I would also add Dan for perfecting the art of recognizing when you're drawing dead and being willing to completely blow all of your plans up in order to gain a second life in the game. So few people have the guts to do that and he did it on both of his seasons. In season 10 he had his alliance with Brian and Ollie (plus Angie, Steven, etc.) but when Ollie ratted that out and Brian was evicted, Dan fell on his sword. He laid down, admitted he was dead, and started all over again with Memphis. Then in season 14 he was out the door after Jenn won the veto so he once again blew up Ian's spot and the entire Quack Pack just to get Frank and Jenn on side for the week. It's an underrated position because most go down with the ship. When they get stuck in a corner they either lash out or just admit that they can't win. They feel like they invested too much time and effort into certain alliances and relationships and have burned enough other bridges that there's no second option. Dan always found that option. Plus, unlike Will's never win strategy, (which arguably there were a few times in both season 2 and 7 where he tried to win, lost, and then sold it as a throw) Dan perfected winning when you have to only. He threw most of the time but turned it in only in clutch situations and won as to still appear weak but also be able to make power moves. P.S. I wouldn't call Jun and Alison the old school definition of "floater". I'd call them the CORRECT definition of "floater". The version that Rachel created is just wrong.

Dan Gheesling and Derrick Lassiter played with a kind of class Will Kirby could only wish to have. But I did love watching Will play I just think Derrick and Dan were the best to ever play this game.
Kinda, kinda not. It’s the same as Survivor, you gotta get those jury votes to win and she knew going into the season that the jurors would see everything she said and did during her time in the house. It’s a flaw within the game, hence why they changed it, but that was the game they were all playing nonetheless and they all knew what it would be about going into the house. Plus, she should’ve taken Amy to the final 3 instead of Lisa but she let her affection for Lisa get the best of her. In an alternate scenario it would’ve probably been her and Jason in the final 2 had they been in that final 3 with Amy (in which case, Danielle still loses and Jason takes the win).
@Raheem Fielder-Bey - I agree with @SuperSavage Danielle S3 was robbed because no matter what mistakes she made she would have won the game if Production did not let the jury hear her DR's. That lost her the game and from that BB was changed. Jury member are no longer able to her DR's -- Indeed Danielle was robbed and I also am STILL pissed about it. I think Dan's game in conjunction with Paul's changed the game as people saw how to correctly manage a jury. By a far extent maybe Marissa's win should be talked about too lol
Definitely need to add Dan. He literally lied to everybody and people knew this but still believed him. He told people to do things that sounded completely irrational and only benefitted him but spun it in a way where they would listen to him and do it. He created elaborate strategies that got him to the final 2 in BB14 when literally everyone was against him (Dan’s Funeral) Janelle was completely right and he was robbed of being the first 2 time winner thanks to a bitter jury
Not only did you miss a few, you missed an entire video's worth 10 players who negatively changed the game. Now, Im not saying they are bad players or people, my favorite houseguest is one of them, but people like Justin and getting expelled, Players of BB4 not using the vetoes, Jase creating a macho men's alliance, The Nerd Heard in of itself, And Evil Dick's spawns that were casted in future seasons (james, russell, brendan, and even what they hoped for in Adam) Rachel's furthering of the hatred towards Floaters, Willie's attack on Joe, Aaryn, Amanda, and Gina Marie causing the fans to turn on the show, Devin for creating the initial 8 person alliance, Austwins for just being a creepy group (also showmances taking over) Nicole's sleeper strategy, Paul and his minions, Level 6 targeting themselves, and whatever bb21 and 22 were... Sorry for the long comment, I loved this video and think you hit all of the positive notes, except for... Chicken George! In both of his seasons! He almost organized a mutiny which helped producers decide to change the format, and he introduced us to the loveable parental figure, and in season 7 engrossed us with his never give up strategy, that seen him just enjoy being there. Chicken George doesn't get enough credit for everything he has done for the show. Please make a video for Chicken George!
I would actually argue that Dr. Will was not the first floater, but rather it was Krista, who floated between both sides of the house in the way that floaters later would. Frankly, Will mostly attached himself to Nicole and Hardy, and then threw a comp to screw them in the endgame once they finally didn't have an HOH
That's a good point, Krista definitely played the middle while she was in the house (and it cost her). I'd include her next to Will - although I'm not sure if she ever left an impression going forward.
@@Peridiam I'd argue she actually plays the first four or so weeks pretty well. Her HOH reign was VERY well thought out for an early BB HOH, with her successfully keeping the two sides going at each other while eliminating autumn who she has no relationship with. It just comes down to her trusting will with the wrong info. Had he not sold her out, I think its pretty likely nicole wants Monica out over her. (Seriously question the move from Will too. Krista was the only person who had any realy loyalty to him in the house and he ruined her game for practically no reason)
Even Nicole and Hardy tried to float in the beginning. They both had their several deals with many sides of the house (Nicole played floater in Week 2-3 with Chilltown, Hardy aligned with Monica and Nicole, had his own deal with Will, then was aligned to Kent and Bunky, before turning on them). The one thing is, the two just kept on winning power, so they couldn't even float based on that.
@@jaygriffperiod85 Yeah exactly. I don't know if you can even term Will a floater in the game. His game there is more akin to a coaster, albeit one doing it with self awareness.

i would say dan in both 10 and 14 did things that couldve been game changing but nobody picked them up. in 10 he intentionally put up memphis in order to hide their alliance, while in 14 he actually did bring in influence from survivor's rob cesternino, tweaked rob's conversation with matthew in final 7 of the amazon, and added some flare partly out of necessity due to how bb works and the specifics of the house that week and that was what became the famous/infamous dan's funeral. but like i said nobody picked any of that up. then dan's deal with ollie at f7 in 10, which eventually became replacement nominee roulette. dan's strength aside from when he had time to think was macgyvering scraps of plans together to make something unique to the situation that usually worked. but that's something not often emulated other than in dan specifically.
because dans funeral is so iconic its impossible to replicate, if you try it you will still be targeted because people will know your just trying to pull a "dans funeral" unless you get enough recruits in the house
i really think azah from this season could really shake up the house and be a good competitor. from the feeds, she already seems tight with derek f and i’m not sure but i think she has an alliance with travis and kyland. not to mention she is in what i think is probably going to be the more dominant team, the jokers. it’s around day 3-4 and she already put herself in a perfect position
Enzo is the creator of the brigade, no? Thanks so much for including Marvin in this! He deserves so much more credit than he gets. Dont see derrick as an amazing player but hes defs a game changer. Wouldnt Jeff/jordan or Rachel/brendon be considered game changer too? Theyre the reason why showmances get targetted early
While it was interesting to watch Derrick pull this off in BB16 in a way, it’s just frustrating to watch this over and over. It’s like if you aren’t part of some big alliance right away, there’s clearly something going wrong and you should be scared I’m hoping BB23’s starting chaos just throws this whole concept of “big alliance to smaller alliance to duo” out the window or comes up with something more interesting
Come on man - Enzo put the Brigade together and led it the whole season. He called all the shots, including booting Matt out. Meow Meow gets the credit!
I spoke to Matt before I put this video together and he gave me the inside scoop before the feeds turned on. It was originally his idea to rally the guys-although he credits Enzo with being the glue. We only saw a fragment of it in the episode.

@@bigbuffguy9589 I'd argue that it is since he came into bb22 with arguably the biggest target on his back as the creator of the greatest alliance ever yet was NEVER targeted it would've been so easy to target him early because of that but no one did & even when it came down to the final 8 Memphis STILL didn't nominate him even though he wasn't in the committee he nominated Nicole next to David that's top tier social game
Enzo never has winner equity though, like he loses against every player in his endgame despite easily making it to the end
All of these people are legends. I'm about to watch the Premiere and this was a great video to watch beforehand for sure.
Something should be said about Victor's ability to reintegrate despite being voted out so many times.
This video taguht me how to tell what strategy people are playing.
This is top notch content as always!
i would like to argue that andy (bb15) created derrick's blueprint of gameplay and he's honestly an underrated winner
19:23 would have been the PERFECT place for a BBOTT Cornbread "fuck y'all!" clip LOL
I am so excited for BB23
Me too
I think Dan's game in conjunction with Paul's changed the game as people saw how to correctly manage a jury.
There was a heavy stigma around 2-time winners in that house, the jury probably would have voted for him over Ian had he not won the 500k already
Do you have a video on 'classic floating' versus modern-day floating? If not, that would be so interesting.
Not only did you miss a few, you missed an entire video's worth
10 players who negatively changed the game.
Now, Im not saying they are bad players or people, my favorite houseguest is one of them, but people like
Justin and getting expelled, Players of BB4 not using the vetoes, Jase creating a macho men's alliance, The Nerd Heard in of itself, And Evil Dick's spawns that were casted in future seasons (james, russell, brendan, and even what they hoped for in Adam)
Rachel's furthering of the hatred towards Floaters, Willie's attack on Joe, Aaryn, Amanda, and Gina Marie causing the fans to turn on the show,
Devin for creating the initial 8 person alliance, Austwins for just being a creepy group (also showmances taking over) Nicole's sleeper strategy, Paul and his minions, Level 6 targeting themselves, and whatever bb21 and 22 were...
Oh And dont forget his performance in the Punishment Veto!
bless up for the peridiam double feature today
2 EPISODES TODAY?!?! AND ON PREMIER NIGHT?!?!? we must be in Heaven!
The Jiggly Jokers lmfao
Still can't get around why people hate derrick because he is "boring." That guy played the most flawless single season of big brother ever. He was so good that people have been copying him ever since. He was so good that Cody won a season just by playing exactly his style.
EXACTLY!!!!! I mean n I ddn't find him boring.. Because his game play was so entertaining to watch.. Watching how he strategized everything was super entertaining (kinda like watching Dan).. Seems ppl want someone to play the game in a sloppy way .. He played it smart 🙂
Big brother 3 had a great looking cast
Great thumbnail! Love the GTA aesthetic
Tyler making final two deals with everyone
Update Taylor absolutely changed it now social game matters a lot more
i would say dan in both 10 and 14 did things that couldve been game changing but nobody picked them up. in 10 he intentionally put up memphis in order to hide their alliance, while in 14 he actually did bring in influence from survivor's rob cesternino, tweaked rob's conversation with matthew in final 7 of the amazon, and added some flare partly out of necessity due to how bb works and the specifics of the house that week and that was what became the famous/infamous dan's funeral. but like i said nobody picked any of that up. then dan's deal with ollie at f7 in 10, which eventually became replacement nominee roulette. dan's strength aside from when he had time to think was macgyvering scraps of plans together to make something unique to the situation that usually worked. but that's something not often emulated other than in dan specifically.
because dans funeral is so iconic its impossible to replicate, if you try it you will still be targeted because people will know your just trying to pull a "dans funeral" unless you get enough recruits in the house
It’s giving me cookout vibes love it 🥰 Danielle and Jason or brigade
Matt was one of the best players ive seen play the game very underrated i put him in my top 3
Britini D’Angelo is next
Now we can add the Cookout. Like it or not they have LITERALLY changed the game forever
I agree with every choice except Derrick
Maybe paul and Tyler as Honorable mentions?
What did they change?
@@yourgrammarisnotverygood1827 Paul one could argue made jury management a key part of game Play
Please do this for Canada too!
Who your favorite player of big brother canada
PERIDIAM REALLY FEEDING US TODAY
Why do people act like bb2 is the first season😭
I think Paul could be in pt2, showed us how to maintain the modern day jury
I feel like Memphis and his alliance creation in all stars was legendary. We will have to see if this gets used again
Danielle and Derrick had virtually the same MO, just in different "eras" of the game.
Dan goat Gheesling should be on this list. He revolutionized the game.

2 vids in one day bestie omg
watching bb3 rn! spoiled a bit with the footage you showed but whatever the season is old anyways.
Now add The Cookout 😅
bb and survivor in one day
Tiffany took Enzo idea and made about race!
i really think azah from this season could really shake up the house and be a good competitor. from the feeds, she already seems tight with derek f and i’m not sure but i think she has an alliance with travis and kyland. not to mention she is in what i think is probably going to be the more dominant team, the jokers. it’s around day 3-4 and she already put herself in a perfect position
She was such a flop😂
Two videos in less than three hours? I'm in.
Happy holiday everyone !!
If you made this video post-BB23, would Tiffany’s master plan/the Cookout‘s 100% success rate make the top 10?
Two Videos In One Day Awesome.
I was gonna get on you for making a Survivor video on the Premiere day of BB23 but you redeemed yourself
Matt created it, but Enzo was a big part in the formation once Matt laid it out to him.
@@Peridiam didnt know that, thanks!
I do think the cookout will end up changing the game somehow but we can’t know till future seasons🖐
While it was interesting to watch Derrick pull this off in BB16 in a way, it’s just frustrating to watch this over and over. It’s like if you aren’t part of some big alliance right away, there’s clearly something going wrong and you should be scared
I’m hoping BB23’s starting chaos just throws this whole concept of “big alliance to smaller alliance to duo” out the window or comes up with something more interesting
Paul on season 19 for making the friendship cult
cappy/maggie started the og friendship cult tbh
If prediam ever whent on BB, surrvour or the amazing race, the amount of content opportunity would be impeccable
Peridiam can you do a tier list on survivor individual immunities
Will Kirby won the second season of BB.
He’s said multiple times he doesn’t count the first season because of how incredibly different gameplay was
@@SuperCrystal12345 Okay.
Ooh... Dr. Will was the "first" winner? Peridiam, you shady.
Haha, he's said multiple times that season 1 doesn't count
@@jacobmorejead8122 It counts... kind of. At least in the winner's mind.
Who won again -- Eric? Emmitt? Eli?
Howie and the Jack Shack didn’t make the list? I’d say that was a pretty big game changer
I'm excited for big brother tonight
