What's your Christmas/holiday style, do you have a favourite accessory/dress or Christmas pyjamas you wear each year? ⭐🎄😍 Here are some festive outfits I wore this week. Which do you like best? 1, 2, 3 or 4? 😁
Today was a busy day for me with three different activities. I put on grey slacks and a lighter grey turtleneck with a puffer jacket for a shopping trip with my retirement community this morning. Then I switched out the puffer for a black cardigan for a memorial service in the afternoon. This evening we had a special holiday musical program and I traded the black cardigan for a red holiday sweater. Three different looks without changing the slacks and turtleneck. I feel so organized 😆
I have taken to wearing 'smart' clothes when I go out with a friend for a fish and chip lunch. It cheers me up to look good. We don't have any parties to go to! My favourite is my long black velvet skirt from M&S. So comfortable, with an elastic waist. I wear it with ankle boots, a white jumper and a black Chanel style jacket. Big 'gold' earrings. 😊 For Christmas on the beach, watching the swimmers, I've got a gold sequinned Santa hat, and a flashing necklace. I will probably wear a green velvet dress on Christmas Day. With the necklace on steady light. The grandchildren appreciate a bit of sparkle. I so rarely go anywhere, as I can't walk far, (operations), but I can still look good and festive when I do.
Hi, Diane, love all these sparkles on you!✨I'm a more floppy, bohemian, comfy type, and I bought my Christmas outfit in autumn in Denmark: a royal blue dress with paisley pattern in green, I can wear a thin cashmere sweater underneath and be real warm or a tank top, if it’s warm. Second hand in Germany I found a cashmere mix sweater in a shining green, and 15 years ago, I knitted the perfect scarf for the sweater… still in good shape. So I’ll be colorful, swinging and comfy while you’re chic and… I forgot the rest, but main thing is, you remember it😁. Love, Monika❣
In my former life as a teacher, I always wore a brooch or earrings to reflect the holiday. When I retired, I kept only my most treasured ones which I still wear every day in December. Today is my "Believe in angels" brooch. 😇🎄
I'm a DYT 2/1, so I love all your soft cream outfits (Type 2) with the sparkles (Type 1). I love your Halston jacket and have something very similar in cream fake fur. I wear it at Xmas as a bit of fun when I see my 5 year old niece. She loves it. It is also how I want her to remember me at Xmas time, the fun and well dressed Aunty, so I will keep wearing it until she gets too cool.
I wear sparkly snowflake earrings which I replace when the sparkle fades..I seem to buy bigger snowflakes each time! My daughters say they can spot the sparkle from the other side of a store😂
I have a brooch of my grandmother's that I liked but never wore because it was heavy and I was afraid the pin would tear my nicer blouses. But this year I thought to add it as an ornament to my nylon Bagalini handbag. Love it there!
I love all the outfits, but your new blue sparkly top is wonderful. Your mom’s brooch is such a fitting tribute and pairs beautifully with your blue knitted top.
I am pulling out some sparkling pins that were my Mom's and Aunt's today. I like to put them on toques and hats over the Christmas season. I love your beautiful sparkly clothes and white jacket, you wear it so beautifully. I am learning so much from you, Diane. Thank you.
All the outfits look fabulous and although I love the white outfit anytime you wear blue your whole face just lights up. Blue is definitely your colour.
I have one long red dress and one long black dress that I can wear all year round but the rest of my outfits are separated that can mix & match with my basic black & white trousers. You have such good taste.❣️❣️
Diane, you are the person who inspired me to add more sparkle to my wardrobe and to dress like the inner me! Rather, I am retired now and could always go around in lounge wear or yoga clothes or bluejeans. Yet I have all these dress clothes that I love. I have begun wearing dressier outfits to even “non” special occasions. On a recent vacation to Spain at any time we went to a restaurant with table linens, I wore sparkly outfits and jewelry I love. It made me feel great! And yes, I have indeed decluttered many of my dress and work clothes. Again thank you so much for your inspiration. ❤
I love dressing up too. Keep dressing up and it will hopefully inspire others to dress up too. I hate the athleisurewear style that has been around for the last 20 odd years. It has made many people dress so sloppily. We can dress comfortably and stylishly, we just need to have "the eye" to spot the styles that fit into that category.
For years I have worn mostly black outfits but you have inspired me to go lighter and brighter. I've had so many complaints wearing my new colourful clothes and I actually feel lighter and brighter. Thank you for all the inspiration and bringing fun back into my clothes.
How fun to see your beautiful outfits ! Each one suits the occasion and your personality so well . What a joy you are . Happy Holidays to you and yours .
Thanks for sharing, Diane! I have a ring from my granny that I wore every day when going through rough times some years ago. It always made me feel loved and strong. 💍💙
December 1st out come the Christmas jimjams, cups, teatowels, salt and pepper set, and of course socks. I don't do decorations and lights yet though. Love your Rudolph the pearl nosed reindeer ! Thanks for another lovely video Diane
Thanks for sharing your sparkling outfits. It is fun and inspiring. Especially loved photo of beautiful you and grandmother on your wedding day 🤩. Enjoy your brother and sister-in-law’s upcoming visit. 🎄🌟♥️
I'm more of a casual person but i do like to wear something fancy the sunday before Christmas at church. After watching your video i pinned on a lovely butterfly broach i was given fir my birthday! It just added the right touch to my outfit today!
Diane you really have helped me see that I can repurpose my wardrobe! I have taken a long dress I wore to a wedding and cut it down to wear to work as a start but I have fresh eyes that I’m looking at my old clothes that I, so excited to refresh!! ❤
Love the wardrobe talk. All the outfits you put together are fantastic ❤ I don’t really have any festive outfits. I need to work on my style still. As a matter of fact, I’m going to a big happy hour this Wednesday- will be about 30-40 ladies and I have no idea what I’m going to wear and almost canceled because of this but figured no one will care what I’m wearing. ❤
Diane, you look absolutely stunning in the thumbnail photo! Love your outfits. My life is extra casual. My go to is a winter white cashmere turtleneck with cables in the knit.
Thank you Diane, I’m looking forward to having a play in my wardrobe. I wore a navy sparkly top with white jeans to my gym Christmas party last weekend - so fun! And thanks also for the prompt to add a brooch or a flower etc. to add a spot of interest 😊
My style? I'm 84 in a few days and I've never in my life had or worn anything you would call swanky....Nice sometimes, yes, but, swanky, no...Your outfits are beautiful and I'm glad you show them and wear them!
My grandmother’s crystal necklace that she left to me hangs from the chandelier in my dressing room where it catches the light. I’m more suited to shiny metals and simple pearls when it comes to jewellery and I love to add a sequinned bag at this time of year. Great outfits Diane! I’ll have to remember these top tips for zhuzhing up an outfit for the festive season. xx
I have four Christmas jumpers..... they rotate over time.... they range from 10 years old to four years old.... My very old sparkly one from 2005 I gave away last year it was in pristine condition. As you say revamping and buying the odd new item works wonderfully.
Thank you, Diane! All gorgeous outfits on gorgeous you! I have a long black knit skirt and gold hairclips with rhinestones, all from a charity shop in Shrewsbury when we were visiting England a few years ago. I like to wear scarves, so interchange those with different tops for the occasion. ❤💚
Delightful as always! I have recently started to put some of my jewelry on probation and it has been quite revealing. Thanks for sharing your time and expertise ❤from Canada 🇨🇦
I have a pretty enamel brooch that was made by a friend. It’s not really festive but she’s coming to lunch on Thursday so it’s a chance to wear it. I don’t wear much jewellery in winter but brooches are a good idea. I’ll get out another one while I think about it because I have one made by a Danish friend and he’s coming for Xmas. Thank you as always my cheery inspiration x
I actually don’t wear any brooches. Since a couple of years i daily wear a necklace and now and than a bracelet that suits me better I think. I just choose my festive outfit for Christmas (in holland we celebrate 2 days of Christmas so I choose 2 out of my wardrobe 🎉
Diane, how many little bottles of leather paint did you use on those pants? I have 1/2 bottle left and wondered if that would do a pair of shoes...? I did another pair last year on your recommendation and they turned out great!
What's your Christmas/holiday style, do you have a favourite accessory/dress or Christmas pyjamas you wear each year? ⭐🎄😍 Here are some festive outfits I wore this week. Which do you like best? 1, 2, 3 or 4? 😁
I love outfit 2 Diane, the blue sparkle outfit. It really compliments your eye and hair colour and I love its versatility. x
@@mandyshangalang1398 Yay, thanks!
I like them all!
😍🎉🎉🎉
I love the white outfit!✨
Your wedding photo with your mum was delightful to see… you’re beautiful then and now ❤

So wonderful that you are using it, Gwen, instead of it getting dusty at the bottom of a jewellery box!
Those go well on coats, also.
I’ll be wearing my gran’s crystal necklace too!
Love your sparkles and your advise on how to mix and match to make more outfits. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Sparkles suit you and your sparkly personality.
I love all the outfits, but your new blue sparkly top is wonderful. Your mom’s brooch is such a fitting tribute and pairs beautifully with your blue knitted top.
Kiwi friend here! Thanks for the shout out. I love the blue jumper you’re wearing here, the sleeves are really cute.
Love a bit of sparkle at Christmas ✨🤩✨ Thank you Diane 🎄
That vintage jacket is a show stopper Diane…love it ❤

I love the blue sequin top and trousers. It's my favourite colour. I only wear blue, white, green and orange. It's so much easier 😊
Thank you, Sarah! I am going to get a lot of wear out of that blue top!

I have four Christmas jumpers..... they rotate over time.... they range from 10 years old to four years old.... My very old sparkly one from 2005 I gave away last year it was in pristine condition. As you say revamping and buying the odd new item works wonderfully.
Love that, Grumpy Poo!

Beautiful!!🎄
Your sweater looks great on you and I love the pin. Thank you Diane and I hope you are having a great week!
Love your style and your generosity.❤️
You are so stylish! I don't go to many parties, it is not something I enjoy. I socialise making music or crafting. I wonder what other women do?
Thank you, Diane! All gorgeous outfits on gorgeous you! I have a long black knit skirt and gold hairclips with rhinestones, all from a charity shop in Shrewsbury when we were visiting England a few years ago. I like to wear scarves, so interchange those with different tops for the occasion. ❤💚

Outfit 3 ❤️
There is so much black Christmas occasion wear this year, though I have noticed chocolate coloured winter wear online which is great!
Diane, how many little bottles of leather paint did you use on those pants? I have 1/2 bottle left and wondered if that would do a pair of shoes...? I did another pair last year on your recommendation and they turned out great!
