For those new to MAD TV I'd encourage you to look around the channel, we have international adventures, bike reviews and Chris Birch extreme videos and other stuff and most recently some great films from Nick Sanders. Occasionally we go live for some fun. Here are some links to help you find the good stuff.

Well done Dave! As an American, I truly enjoy seeing the Aussie countryside and the varied terrain. Beautiful country! One suggestion for these types of ride videos would be to add a graphic/map at the beginning showing the general location of the ride for us non-Aussies. Cheers!

Forgive me Robert, I did one in the 890 test and the 1290 test yet to be published. Around the same location mapped in the KTM890 test if your interested in looking at that video.

    Sideshow here.....
I was chatting to you blokes while you were devouring those cutlets at Condobolin. You asked me how I went on the big 1200 GS in the Mud!
Happy to report I achieved my goal for the ride, which was to not drop it.
Day 1 and 4 were the most challenging. These guys really are a professional outfit. The focus on Safety getting everyone through was admirable. At one stage I was at the back after a flat. TB was sweeping. He was very supportive of my goal to not drop it in terrain that bike was not intended to go through. Was patient with me, and pulled me up once for a briefing on techniques and lines to help me achieve my goal for the trip.
As Arnie says "I'll be back".

Liked the Clubby Clip! Great job.
It was like the NASCAR events when the announcers stop jabbering and the track microphones are turned on, and you can actually hear what you came to see! Bike sound, rocks clanking, and wind noise! "Crank it up!", they say. (meaning the tele-volume)
Not saying you should zip it Dave; absolutely love the spirited commentary. Look forward to future Clubby Clips! And more... You guys Rock!

Brilliant stuff once again! This channel is fantastic, always a ripper watch, well put together and very entertaining. Great riding, fantastic scenery, always a hoot riding with a group and it's great peace of mind knowing you have backup if anything goes pear shaped. All pumped up to get out on the Bush Pig again now. If only I could get paid to ride instead of work...

Love the video as always Dave. Thanks for giving the rest of us in the world an insight into your beautiful country and the other parts of the world that you ride. It’s a bummer that you didn’t have more time to explore the (what looks like) 690 Aurora Explor build just before the rider’s meeting that you had to attend. I have the 701 version of the same kit in the US and love it. I know of at least one fellow in Australia that has an Aurora kitted 701. They’re amazing builds and turn the bike into something the 701LR aspires to be.
PS: Clubby needs to work on his helmet camera angle ;)

Great to see a BMW F800GS in the mix, a bit of an under rated bike comes alive with a suspension upgrade, especially the forks. Very similsr weight to a T700, lower center of gravity. Cheap to buy secondhand.

Farm also runs Suzuki DT200 n Kawasaki 250 stockman better bikes going through wet stuff but break downs are quicker then AG200. Definitely thinking of buying Honda 300👍

    Hi Dave.
I have an idea for a type of video/review that currently does not exist.
Test of fitment of differen luggage systems on different bikes. Say how does a Kriega OS-Base system fit different bikes. And how does Enduristan Blizzard fit different bikes and so on.
I'm thinking also looking into straps flapping and such. Not so much a review of the bagagesystem as a travel companion, but more a fitment wise review of a system on different bikes.
Just a heads up for content that dont exist on youtube :-)

In fiarness to you, I'm supported by Pirelli. That aside definitely a Pirelli Scorpion Rally and there is a range of tires for the rear. At the end of the day the front is crucial in dirt.

Ok guy's I love these videos and content, keep up the brilliant work. I must ask, what is the average age of the riders on this trip. I am 63 yrs young and have ridden motorcycles since a kid, but over the last 40 yrs only road bikes. I am looking at a Suzuki DR650 with view of doing some of these rides in the very near future. Any recommendations?

    • @MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV

You mentioned adventure riding growing rapidly which is plain to see when you hit the trails these days. I'm curious about the future of dirt tails and tracks across NSW and companies like RideAdv. As any NSW resident knows, if ppl are enjoying something, the Govt will close it off or restrict it even if they are public roads. Its a double edged sword... a growing sport but areas to ride dirt are only going to decrease...

    • @MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV
      @MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV  2 роки тому

I fear that as well. I'm seeing it in a couple of places. Another phenomena is public roads being 'claimed' by residents and resigned to say they are private.
