$30k - $40k is cheap. I'm keeping this at the top of my list. Would love to fly to work at a constant 90mph every clear day
The money is easier to come up with than the right place to takeoff/land from and it's not IFR so you're stuck at work if the weather gets bad or it's dark
a real sign of the times when 90%+ of the comments are negative! it's sad that we can't seem to find the positive in things anymore...if you don't like it, move on. no need to be ignorant.
Oh come on they were really funny. I personally love the craft and the comments.
WOW, I thought I was the only one that thought that. It might be YT burnout syndrome. Maybe?
Ah lighten up Michel, it was damn funny. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
@Chris Johnson I disagree......... 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
They are negative because this is a piece of junk!!!
If you turn the volume off, it's not so bad.
Thanks Dean!
Guys Like Us bro your commentary made it better
LOOOOOL
Oddly enough, I think this thing would be great to mount 2 airsoft miniguns on and have fun at your local field.
Edit: to those of you saying that the rotor wash would effect the pellets.... No it does not. I don't know how much you guys understand about physics, but once the rounds leave the muzzle, they're already nearly out from under the rotor wash. They're under the effect of the wash for less than one hundredth of a second, meaning the wash has almost no influence on the trajectory of the rounds. Furthermore, any influence on them is uniform, meaning each round would still change to the same new direction.
Also, a quick UA-cam search will find you videos of people playing airsoft with actual helicopters.
Now that's thinking!!!
▲▼▲▼ Thank you for commenting! ▲▼▲▼
downdraft from the rotors would throw off your shots, add the winds, you won't hit a barn door at 50 yards.
Exactly what he said. This is why aircraft generally don't use say NATO rounds, they don't travel fast enough. Has to have a way high fps to make up for the wind resistance, rotor wash and your forward speed. Although i bet you could still have some fun shooting paintballs out the window 😂
I beg your pardon good sir, I fear you may be mistaken.
Military helicopters routinely mount M134s and m240s both of which are chambered in 7.62mmx51mm NATO. I'm not quite sure what you are refering too.
macuss87 proably refering to 5.56
These helicopters are incredibly safe and well built, and with an operating cost of around $30.00 per hour.
Damn that's awesome
You need an FAa license or anything?
Does it come with a matching coffin? Might be interested if it does...
40 k for better model you mentioned? Is it just a kit or a ready to fly? I want one...how much will it cost to learn fly one safely ? Thanks ...?
Just asking a hypothetical question how many ATGM's can you fit on it while still being able to fly?
😳30-40k damn that’s cheap for a heli
Yup....
you can build one for like 15k
Enclosed ? Xe ? lol
The expensive part is the training to get a helo license 40-80k
Mosquito XEL or Air you do not.
And where the fuck did you get those numbers ?
And if the engine stalls?
Awesome video.. Loved the commentary. The hour fly time is pretty good on the 2nd chopper. Im sure it will get even better with time.
Auto rotation ability is basically a "SHTF" feature... If the power goes out, you run out of gas, or some other butt puckering incident while you're still in the air, the rotors will keep spinning enough that you can PROBABLY still land safely.
How hard is it to learn to fly this helicopter?
If you painted it yellow, you would have a life size G.I Joe Adventure Team Helicopter.
Nice info, thanks for posting, been looking for a small helo. Cheers
So exactly what do I have to do to get a heli license? Do I have to go private pilot and add a heli cert? or can I get a heli license alone?
You can just go straight heli. It's an entirely different category so it's not an "add-on" in that sense.
How much did you spend for it?
Guys like us I forgot... the cylic stick between your legs! the basic formation is a figure eight, and then a 90 degree figure eight on top of it like a clover formation. one in one direction then switch, then switch, then switch, then switch....add power then pull the collective a smidge...every input needs continuous management all the time. remember touch control, sometimes just thinking about it is all the motion you need. next thing you know your in the air.. both figure eights can go in either direction depends on the need to control.
the tail rotor needs to be worked to counter the frame or body rotation.
the body goes right with the blades so you need right pedal to compensate, pushing air right.
nobody said you had to free fly it first build yourself a frame on the ground spring loaded, start it and get comfort able, then apply controls to learn how much you need, that is what the military does...they dont put you in a chopper and tell you to get troops, do they. BUT get formal trainng first, safety safety safety...but it is NOT as hard as you think!
have fun......
Hahahaha! Thanks! Yes I would have to get training and lots of it before I fly. It sounds easy enough when you explain it but with my luck my big dumb @$$ would crash it on first take off!!!! Hahahahaa....Thanskagain for the comment!
thats is the point of the hoola hoop making it so sluggish and not being able to ground flip it. in that continuous correcting just to get it in the air...then comes wind alloft and needing to maintain the previous controling..the controling on the grond is different than the controlling at slow flight and then at high flight.
I may get brave enough in it to fly over the woods that is next to his larger garage on my next trip in the fall.
I got a kick out of coacsing his kids to try it.. we both stood on the skids so they could feel what the controls are doing...i think they will be piloting it in a few years. I met him in the Army we were both Crew Chiefs on Kiowa and Hueys.
that predator movie line was a surprise "get to the choppa"
Can I park it on my backyard, how much is to get it registered and how often you have to get it a smog?
The best picture of mosquito I ever seen .
I definitely need one of these
These dji drones are getting more awesome
LOL Next there is going to be a plane sized drone.
I just placed my order can’t wait to get her up in the air
I'm so freakin' jealous!
How was ur experience with? Reccomend it?
I would love one, My dream is to get my pilots licence in a few years, mabe less than two, then buy one in black!!
Cisco Rodriguez he’s not responding I think it crashed mid flight
Not just the helicopter prices itself but the maintenance is expensive, license, storage, insurance, also If a car breaks down you can pull over but if a helicopter breaks down you fall down.
True....
I was about to buy one, but was dismayed to find out that chaff dispensers are not among the offered options. Also, what is the point of owning this chopper, if I cannot deploy napalm to fend off the zombies ?
What you do with your heli, is your business...
Just don't get caught ;)
I like the mini gun idea lol
yes a five mile an hour wind will feel like 30mph and yes you will crash . .bigger is safer in boats airplanes cars
thats what the tail rotor authority is for! my friend
you will crash in 5mph wind? are you serious...?
The effect of fluid movement or air movement are expediential meaning if 4mph an hour is producing 4lb of force on your sail, wing, etc the 5mph will produces 6lb and not 5lb.
in a boat , aircraft etc you have a cube effect .. a 2oft boat vs 21ft boat difference is not 1 feet because typical measurement is 20ft long 8ft wide and 2ft depth and when you multiply all you get 20X8X2=320 vs 21X8X2=336 or 5%
Bigger is safer in Auto ,boat and aircraft because they are effected by outside forces like road hazards, waves or turbulence as much ..
still confused
boashna ...expediential. adjective. Of, relating to, or concerned with what is expedient. expediential. adjective. Of, relating to, or concerned with what is expedient.
exponential function .....a function whose value is a constant raised to the power of the argument, especially the function where the constant is e.
your science is wrong too, what atmosphere are you talking about a what is the composition of that atmosphere and its pressure dynamic. expedietial, what your hurry in explaining garbage data.
CYah.
Tail rotor authority means how many degrees the tail rotor can move.
How to buy mosquito xet helicopter in india
Where i can get training to fly it before buying this amazing product.
Your local Air Force should do...but private instruction is available.
They should make a two seater version. Now I’d buy that. As long as it’s economic and has a decent range id buy it
If it's a two-seater, then it's not an ultralight, which means you'd need a full helicopter license to fly it.
It BETTER have exceptional auto rotation ability with that boat anchor for a motor!!!!!
where did you buy it from
What's cost for flying lessons?
I need one. Ive always dreamed of flying
So this is just 30k-40k? When I grow up I will totally have one!
crashed mine due to a factory default. furl line collapsed. Luckily I had just taken off. other then a few scratches I was ok....can't say that about the craft though. I will say this. comp did take care of me. I'm thinking they didn't wanna have this go to court or get a bad name cause of them being fairly new they didn't want to get any bad press so early on. All that being said...the craft is an amazing craft. The guys were very nice and helpful and seemed genuinely concerned about my well being and not just a court case. I don't mean for any of this to sound like I'm putting the craft or the company down cause that not what I'm doing. simply just mentioned what happened to me. turns out the fuel line prob was just on my craft and not a problem for all. So yeah...I'd would chk all fuel lines very well be taking off just to be safe. what we ended up doing was have somebody watch the lines while giving it throttle to mk sure everything was OK the first couple of flights. Now everything's fine. hope this helps somebody. have a great time in the air and be safe. maybe we'll pass in the night like 2 ships....lol. 😂
proof?
How much did they compensate you?
Does it come with a parachute and air bags if so sign me up for one.
How much does it cost to operate an hour
'Quickly get to the chopper"😕 it's= "run go, get to the choppaaa" lol😉
Why did I die of cringe reading this?
Autorotation is a safety feature that slows down a helicopter during an emergency landing
tail rotor authority!!!!!!!!!!!! pull additional pitch under max power then fell the air craft starts to spin that will explain all you need to know. When you run out of right pedal in most birds well then come talk to me.
if you bolt a pvc pipe hoop on the bottom (skids) it wont flip, it will change the handling just enough to enable you to fly it as a beginner. easy to add weight to it. Once you can fly it you can put a computer ballast on it like a bow hunter to counter the wind changes and smooth the ride out. Might as well make the weight of the ballast a extended range gas tank. the tank is the center of the ballast. if your wondering Engineering. thats how they teach you to fly bug smashers isnt it, ever hear of a pilot learning on a 747?????
Hmmmm...interesting ideas....Anyone who knows how to fly these things can chime in. I couldn't get it off the ground. I hear landing is easy though. Hahahahaaa......
I was in the army rotor wing aviation for five years as a crew cheif, some days I was only on the ground for hours a day. almost anybody can learn to fly one it is all together different than a plane to fly, glide. But the first thing to remember is TOUCH CONTROL tiny inputs and sometimes allot of them, it is all hydraulic on most of them. the same goes for RC I put a hoola hoop on mine I was hovering in thirty minutes. when you make your hoola hoop on the bottom go past the rotors by six inches, then attach hard plastic strips in an x overthe top by six inches. protec the rotor if it does flip. that will also boost your confidence in flying if your not going to trash it on crash....
So the copter is protected by a dome of plastic....go have a blast!
I was flying all over the place, I left the cage on it the entire time of flying for ten years in SCal....I let kids fly it, people of all kinds...most never dumped it. Same for gliders put a flat dome on the glider, it kills the aero as you can imagine but you learn to fly it faster....
Whats the range?
How much for the cheapest 2 seater?
SO CUTE want one
what is that helicopter called
I'm getting mine next week! Can't wait! It's so cool!😎
Are you really?
No
'Personal Helicopter' is an understatement. One person helicopters are a waste of time and cost.
Do you have to have a license to buy one?
30 to 40K!? Ima be flying my self a helicopter into some debt!
Everybody should fly their own helicopter.
After all, how hard could it be, right?
But how do you land?
Is it a ultralight no licence
This chopper looks great and it's not a single seat drone that is more than double the price. This would be much better to have than a Jetson One.
Jetson One needs to be bigger.
4 Passenger/1500lb capacity
16 rotor
Battery flight time of 30 minutes
A fuel engine running a generator to recharge the batteries in flight, with say, a 50 gallon fuel capacity to extend range.
I'd buy that for a dollar.
Autorotation is how choppers land if the engine goes out. Tail rotor authority is the ability to turn or trim the craft using the pedals.
This guy is funny lol. Quick question who tf is going to do maintenance???
Terrell Rashard YOOOOOOOOUUU!!! *cue le music
Terrell Rashard
what's the range in miles for a fuel tank full
It is available in Pakistan?
Question, let's suppose that I buy one of these, where could i learn to fly it? I mean, a school costs on average 150K€ to teach you to fly, whatever choppers or plane ... So, i can't see the deal
It is actually under ultralight class. You do not need a license but they recommend 8 hours of training so you get the fill of how to operate it safely. In 20 plus years of service only 3 have gone down. 2 due to homebuilt kits that had some things improperly done at home. Say that is pretty damn good odds it is safe.
Hey can I buy it in kenya
What is its current price?
If anyone knows the price, let me know
Awesome!
Cool. I like it. Thanks for the vid.
Are doors optional?
zh11147 maybe some plastic wrap would do the job
Do you think these EXPERIMENTAL aircrafts are trustables in term of metal fatigue...
Can you fly this on a sporter licences....I want to go to flight training for helicopter s....
unless you're a professional mechanic do you really trust there's nothing wrong every flight?
that's not the same thing, really?
Throw some quad 240s up on there and I'm in
Hi
What a music from background play? Thanks for a answer!
Can I order the deluxe package with a Coffin
Fletcher White
Who are you?? 😂😂😂
Who who, who who.
Coffin Kit is included. Save the Packaging. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
LOL the upside
already watched another video on these. for that price it is a kit that you build. if they build it they are 100.000.or more depending on how you want it.
Robert Rockwell $43,000 if you build it. If they build it’s $54,000 but if you live in the US you have to build at less 51% of it.
post the link to this chopper bro!
What about the price.??
This thing is pretty cool
The upside of a single seater is if you're going to die you're not taking somebody with you
How much cost in india
how much is that?
Got to have a parachute
pleaze sent the price of this helecopter
Bello e tank you per il volo.......
what is the price of one unit of this helicopter, sir?
including the cost of shipping abroad?
About $40,000 USD factory built. Dont know about shipping.
I am interested how much price bro
Ikr
@@evilbadger34 tell me price I am from Pakistan
@@shamikhokhar29 6255131 rupee
Gotta have a two seater
Thanks Jack!
One gust of wind, and it's all over.
Price???
20 to 50k depending on model
Do you need a license for this thing?
No you don't need a licence to operate this machine, when I got mine and I have never flown one b4 I used the harness system to the ground which only allows it to lift off the ground by a meter, in turn if you make a mistake when you try to lift off it stops up tipping over, just practice till you get it right took me less than a day to release my bird love the freedom as I use her to fly to where others cant get to do Gold prospecting, which has paid for its self time and time again. I will get the new 2 seater they are building and doing trials on at the moment, anyway good luck when you get yours and I recommend that you do resale prices are still good cheers
What's funny is a glider cost more than the mosquito
I sure would like one of these to fly over Atlanta rush hour traffic. My commute would be stress free. Lol
does anyone know if flight time in this could go towards getting a private helicopter licence?
I think they are around 60 to 90
Can U purchase one of these on Craigslist?? 😆....
Why does everyone think of Zombies when they look at these things?
This was so funny. Guarantee you can not get insurance on this thing. It will crash.
That is cheap, but then you don't figure in the annual inspections, the insurance cost, maintenance cost, the fuel cost, the property tax cost Etc
zh11147 you have to FAA ruling
.. Casket...
what inspection, maintenance, property tax cost/expenses?
It's not large enough to need any of that....(you should already have life insurance) lol
The MZ 202 has a lower burn rate on fuel consumption than the 285...MZ is 64 HP and burns around 4 to 5 gals depending on manuevers....and gives the pilot the same lift and speed like ,the 285....but with greater time in the air...maintenance is easier as well.
Should come with parachute lol
U can put a mini gun on that thing wow lol getting one for sure now ahah
