Erica wanted a softer blonde...breaking up the top with highlights and babylights helped diffused her color and give her a much brighter appearance. Did some balayage and foilayage to brighten up her ends from mineral deposit from water at home....enjoy :)
Working on lighting....I don't have the best lighting in my loft so colors can be deceiving and look more yellow

I used Paul Mitchell's Synchrolift. I started with 20/30 and as I got more to the top of her head I used 30 vol and did around her face and sides. I toned with Paul Mitchell The Color XG 8pn/9pn 5 cream 😊

I love this. Thinking of doing it on a client tomorrow. Can you tell me some details. Sectioning and what denisity of foils thru the back? The foil thru the back doesn't quite look like baby lights, and also wasn't sure if you were going to the root in the those foils. I feel like I could do this same thing but it wouldn't turn out the same:(
Yes ! I did a Mohawk on the top, parietal to parietal, and then back of ears and split down the back. I did them pretty close together probably half inch. I did Between a highlight and babylight. And I feathered to scalp, around the face is closer to scalp. I wanted it to grow out soft :) hope that helps!

How do you determine where the balayage goes when doing babylights foiling? Also what's the name of this song?
Madeline Bryant whenever I'm doing balayage I look at the canvas and paint where I want to see the lightness so on her lighter in the front and darker towards the back!
Brittany Lahey I'm having problems deciding on people where I would like to see more light as far as the balayage. Like I know some people determine with like certain areas where the head starts to round or using the parietal ridge. I've been foiling for so long that it's hard trying to break this whole pattern and get more creative with seeing the contrasts of light with dark.
Madeline Bryant depending on if your babylighting or highlights. That determines a lot. If they want full or partial. If doing just balayage I make sure all there surface layers are covered so it doesn't look choppy. And if just tipping out the ends after babylights I just brighten all the ends to give a soft sun kissed look the last 10-20 min. I will be posting another video this week :) I hope this helps!!

a marca é hot tools, se pausar em 5:29 da pra ver, aqui no Brasil não vende, mas é o equivalente a 32 ou 33mm de diâmetro - lá é uma polegada e um quarto a medida, vem 1"1/4 na embalagem... ( dica: use "brand" quando quiser saber a marca de um produto ;)...)

Eri Reynaud I have a horrible lighting in my studio. Her ends aren't damaged at all. Her hair is actually very silky and soft. Just the way it looks in the video
