    Please disregard the negative comments that come from ignorance. Their lack of etiquette shows by their use of foul language. I doubt they've any education of their own. Thank you for sharing your technique and for taking the time off your busy schedule to do videos like this.

    I have to say thank you for not making it so complicated. A lot of the stylists I watch on UA-cam or follow on Instagram over complicate things. I love to see a stylist work smart not hard. Beautiful results.

    Really appreciate this video! This is exactly what I was looking for, an alternative to hand painting a balayage, for all the reasons you ladies said. Every time I hand paint, it only lifts a level or 2 and typically to a warm tone. It's refreshing to know I'm not the only one having that problem. Pretty sure I recently lost a long time client because I was not able to achieve a light blonde result with hand painting like she wanted. Thanks again for sharing a different method that will get you more predictable results. I have a client wanting balayage today that I will try this method on rather than hand painting and praying in the back room.

    Placement & Timing!!! I love that you expressed how important that is!!!! I was reading all the comments, I'm left to only assume that the very few negative ones, didn't even get that part. Therefore, I would like to thank those commenters , because they make me appreciate that I have a different listening for education about hair color!! Thankyou Danielle, I'm looking fwd to watching more of your videos, this was my 1st!

    Always a pleasure to see how you do hair. Thank you for being so down to earth, and letting me in your world. I love to have a plan, but Ike you it always just develops together in the end. This method was very well presented and explained! I'm looking forward to the next one.

    Love this video and the way you educate! I love your down to earth-ness and honesty! I do things alot like you but have been feeling inadequate the past year or so because of all the teaching stylist who have such huge egos that I feel like even when they're teaching they're talking down to you. I so look forward to watching more videos of yours. Again thank you so much!!!

    I wish I could pick up color. I am great at cutting, I just can't seem to understand how to formulate or mix the colors. For some reason my brain cannot grasp the ratios I suppose. I am REALLY good at balayage and highlights but I spend time blending really well up with the lightener so that I don't have to break the base because idk wtf to do 😭😔
    It's really unmotivating TBH. I am a pro at men's cutting tho and semi pro at women's. I just REALLY WANT TO DO COLOR SO BAD.
    😭😭😥😢😢

    Question; so if you're lifting a darker base to a yellow or whiter blonde is that to get rid of any warmth?

    • @MrTwigged
      @MrTwigged 7 років тому

      Amanda G Yes to try and lift out as much as that underlinepigment in dark hair and to be able to lift to a level light enough to be able to tone the hair at your desired level. The bleach alone wont remove all the warmth from the head if you are lifting the hsir to a yellow tone you will need a toner to counteract the yellow still residing in the hair
