    I also have naturally dark brown hair and when the sun hits my hair gets the exact same color as the first girl's. I see nothing wrong with her hair. It's natural for girls with darker hair. You don't have to bleach the shit out of darker hair just to make it ashy blonde.

    I noticed the first client had virgin hair and the premise of this product is that it lightens and deposits in one step. How does this work on someone who had their hair COLORED to a level 2-5? (Same with the second client -- levels 4-6) Sounds like a cool product. Honestly, I've never used any of the Joico color before (but i LOVE the shampoos, conditioners, etc). If anything, I've enjoyed learning the techniques he has used in this video and sometime I'd like to give Joico color a shot.

      Yes, it can be used on colored hair. Our Color Balance Blue shampoo is for pre-lightened brunettes who want to keep their tones from going orange. You can use as often as needed, alternating with another color-protecting shampoo. Read more here: www.joico.com/products/color-balance-blue-shampoo/

      nothing wrong with brassy tones.... I think people have been convinced it's wrong to have orange tones so that they can sell more anti brass products. I love ginger hair!

    • @elibjo01
      @elibjo01 6 років тому +3

      It is meant to look natural, not like she bleached the hell out of her hair. The next colour after brown is orange and I think it looks very good

    • @infiniteworlds5
      @infiniteworlds5 6 років тому +3

      On a lot of people, brassy tones look horrible. Like, for example, the majority of northern Caucasians. On people with warmer or darker skin tones, they look nice and natural. It's just that there hasn't been the option to have cool-toned blonde hair until rather recently, so it's become a trend to have ashy or silver blonde, rather than the beachy warm blondes for the past few decades. It's not a conspiracy to sell product. Just another option.

    • @nicolem2576
      @nicolem2576 6 років тому +3

      She naturally has dark brown hair, and it's natural for darker hair to get that color. Darker haired people don't need to bleach the shit out of their hair.

      @mrsol8620 9 років тому +1

      +Jan L yes that is correct. I've never used joico in my salon so I wasn't sure if this had lightener in it or if it was just color to be used on virgin hair only. I'm just not familiar with this product and was curious😊

    • @bluevioletnova
      @bluevioletnova 9 років тому

      Mrs O L It DOES work on someone with already colored hair.That's part of the convenience of the product. Its a similar concept to the Matrix Redlights, which also works on previously colored hair. I used it on someone the other day. The difference is just that the virgin hair comes out more vibrant than the colored hair....

    • @Samantha1373
      @Samantha1373 9 років тому

      bluevioletnova so maybe bump the developer up a level then? on colored?

    • @bluevioletnova
      @bluevioletnova 9 років тому

      Samantha1373 I did 20 vol. on someone with dark colored ends (maybe a level 4/5?) , and it came out pretty light! Her hair was very fine though, and I let it sit a full 30 mins., so it probably depends on your clients individual hair porosity as well...
