Jeff Matz fuckin rules. I’m sure you have but for anyone who hasn’t, watched the loudwire video of him and Matt breaking down the heaviest HOF riffs. It really shows how integral he is to the muscle of their sound.

When did the last drummer leave?? I saw them on the first tour and a few times later, but the last few records seemed dull and I didn’t pay much attention.
Judicious use of fills. I like he stayed in his lane until a fill was needed. He kept that chunky riff without flooding the background with crap.
Coady has basically ascended to drummer godhood at this point.
The High on Fire / God City recording legacy is unreal. The tones / mix / production is stand alone in this era of heavy music. Mind blowing !

I thought no one would be capable of filling Des's shoes, but this guy has surprised me in the best way possible.
Kudos to Coady! I wasn't sure that I would dig HoF without Des but the drumming in this sound very similar to what Des would play. If I didn't know he left the band I don't think I would have noticed based on the recording alone. That's damn good.

I was gutted hearing Des left but when I heard that Cody was the replacement I was at ease. I've listened to Big Business for years and am also a big Melvins fan so knew how much of a beast he was behind the kit.

I hope to see them once in my life, come to Bulgaria, got a lot of clubs and also will be really cool if you make some east europe tour …. Here got so many fans that really enjoy not just to be present on concert , we experience the time and place, the sound and band !!!
