    What a great interview. The interviewer spoke just enough, asking appropriate questions and then letting Johnnie speak.

      I disagree I think they would get off but there would be compensation which I think many people who have been wronged by the police at least lately are being compensated. Unfortunately court proceedings involving the gov take a really really long time and that is of course purposeful. Compensation obviously isn't a fix to the bigger problem involving police wrong doing and accidents. Money does not fix the issue becuase the money that supports governments will always be there in the form of tax payers so it will not create incentive since taxes can always be raised. The government has to allow the majority of police officers to get off on crimes because they need police officers in order to enforce the law. If people think that if you make a mistake as a police officer that you will be thrown in jail many people will simply choose a profession that is free of such consequences. The job of being a cop is extremely difficult and there are simply not enough people who are capable of doing that job at a high enough level that meets the expectations of the public. Race is an issue but what is more of an issue is the amount of incarcerations in lower income communities. Police profile the poor more than anything else. If you drive a car that is old and neglected your chances of being pulled over for no reason goes up. Police officers do not care about an individuals rights they care about making arrest. This is a big problem.

    Johnnie calling Marvin Lewis a defensive genius is quite erroneous and may have cost the fans of Cinci a decade and a half of their time...Marvin Lewis sucks and has held onto a head coaching job he should have been fired from 6yrs, if not a decade, ago...He did well in Baltimore because of Ray Lewis Peter Boulware Jamie Sharper Rob Burnett M.McCrary Tony Siragusa Rod Woodson C.McCallister Keith Washington and Sam Adams...He would have needed to be utterly incompetent to fail with that much defensive talent at his disposal.

    Johnnie Cochran did so much to help fight against police brutality that George Floyd murdered Derek Chauvin by keeping his knee on his neck in broad daylight, and got off scot free 😁😁 "Level playing field" my ass. Cochran could be one reason Donald Trump became president 🤣🤣

      +headlesssoldier No single person has damaged race relations more than Cochran.

    • @goddessracheltarotmistress11
      @goddessracheltarotmistress11 Рік тому

      Johnnie Cochran didn't damage anything, he just shined the light on facts. Some white people at that time had their head in the sand. They couldn't fathom a police officer could be so dirty and vehemently racist on top of it. "Race relations"? Are you one of those individuals who wouldn't tip a black hotel worker because you didn't like the verdict? Were you an apologist for those white officers who beat Rodney King who was defenseless and in handcuffs? Was your response,"he should have complied?" A default response in these police brutality cases. Johnnie Cochran was brilliant and masterful in that courtroom. It's too bad the prosecutors was third string of attorneys. They lost the case, live with it!

    Oh and i think the mark fuhrman tapes did genuinely disturb him. More than OJ stabbing and killing people. I can see why that would be though. But Johhnie's true callousness shows way more to me than his civil rights activist persona, and i do think hes rotting in hell

    • @patrickjackson5599
      @patrickjackson5599 2 роки тому

      So what do you feel about those lily white jurors who acquitted guilty cops of beating Rodney King profusely after they watched video footage showing them beating him and they all but told the world that our damn eyes were lying to us; but now without video footage showing that OJ Simpson killing Ronald Goldman and Nicole who slept around with numerous men and women thinks now without any shadow of any damn doubt wants to believe that he did it despite cops desperately trying to plant evidence and blame and frame him for it knowing that detective Vanatter took his blood vial sample 20 miles to his estate instead of booking his blood one mile away from where he took possession of his blood vial sample to Piper Tech or Parker Center.

  • @FractalRaver
    @FractalRaver 8 років тому

    I wonder if hed fit in a black panther gathering or whether thatd be against his ideologies. And of course he knew as well as anyone else OJ did it, but for him the victory was not about OJ as much as to give the LAPD the finger and hopefully address some civil rights violations in court. He saw the OJ case as an opportunity, a bridge to that goal, it seems to me.

    • @patrickjackson5599
      @patrickjackson5599 2 роки тому

      If you showed me video footage showing that he did it I’d be more outraged than anybody,but one damn thing for sure is that he didn’t do it whatsoever and one damn thing that we do know is that the four LAPD cops who beat Rodney King profusely most definitely were guilty being that video footage showed every damn thing that happened and those lily white jurors who acquitted them they all packed their behinds upon a private bus and they were never heard from again unlike the jurors who acquitted OJ Simpson, they had the courage enough to hold press conferences and they gave reasons for their acquittal of OJ Simpson.
