Dont lose your motivation i know first hand how it is busting your ass and barely see any progress but before u know it it will all come together and you gonna feel good about all the work you did. Im a one man show here in my garage working on my 63 for 2 years also cutting and welding in sheet metal and its tuff i have ran into problems and it discourages me but i take a step back from it for a lil bit and clear my head and jump back in when people ask how its going i tell them its always one step forward and 2 steps back but i know it will be worth all the blood sweat and beers. Keep up the good work guys watching your progress gives me motivation to keep pushing on my project 😎👍🏻

You replaced the driver door and the drivers rail looks like that? My guess is that was the side parked under a tree. Garbage from a tree falling on top of the car trapped moisture and it rotted away.I'm looking foward to see the rail and inner structure repair video. You guys are doing great work. I have similar issues with my drip rail on my deuce. Luckily not as bad as his. Bobby will get er whooped💪🏻

That roof does look bad but you should be able to fix it. I’m also on process on repairing the drip rails on my 64, kinda Fd up thinking the new drip rails went welded on the outside which they don’t but I already got a game plan. Keep up the good work 👍🏼👍🏼 Bobby

Trim some of the original and weld the plates over the existing firewall.
One question if the Windows dident leak and there is no rust. And the rubber is still a little flexible ,would you still go through the process of removing the Windows and putting new seals in

That damn drip rail, roof frame area is such a shit design. The lip on the roof is welded to the drip rail then the drip rail is welded to the roof frame. Drivers side is shaped similar to a 3 passenger side similar to an E and in each little pocket there’s absolutely no way for any water/condensation to get out other then evaporate. That shits a pain in the rear side to repair and the only way to know prior to buying one is if the drip rail chrome and the upper window chrome/seal is removed.
i still dont know what we are going to do with it...
