- This is a brutal, high elevation mountain race that takes place in the Tushars mountain range just outside of Beaver, Utah. The majority of the race takes place in between 10,000' and 11,000' in elevation. The high point of the course, Mt. Delano, tops out at 12,169'. The climbs are steep, the descents are technical, and the terrain is gnarly. There really isn't a flat section throughout the whole course- just constant up and down. There is nearly 17,000' of elevation gain and loss over the course of 62 brutal miles. I knew this race would be tough, but it was still way tougher than I thought it would be. It was a nonstop grind, but eventually I was able to suffer my way to a finish.

Wow. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing your experience and footage. I finished about an hour behind you right before the cutoff. Such a tough and beautiful course!
💪🏻💪🏻 Nice work grinding it out and finishing! Brutal course.
Placement is irrelevant as long as you don't drop your still in it.
Great job! You earned it.
Thanks! Definitely had to fight for this one, but sometimes those races end up being the most memorable. I still think this is a one and done for me though, haha
Those views! Wow! I kinda want to run this race... hehe! Well done on such a beautiful but hard course.
The course profile seems similar to the 100k you just ran! I bet you’d crush it.
Congratulations on the baby. Get a jogging stroller and enjoy those runs with your baby. I did with my kidz
Glad you put your wife in the video, she is beautiful and wonderful for supporting you while so pregnant.
She’s amazing, and I’m currently holding my daughter as I’m reading this comment. I’m a lucky man!
Low points suck
