- In this film we follow Flagstaff, Arizona's Matt Belus during Aravaipa Running's 2021 Tushar Mountain Runs 100k in Beaver, Utah. Paced and crewed by his older brother Andrew Belus, with support from his father Mike, Matt's race at Tushars marked his first race back after a sacral stress fracture injury that sidelined him for six months. For Matt, Tushars was the longest race and the most vertical gain he's ever done in a single push. Running above treeline is among Matt's favorite things to do, and he chose to use one of the toughest mountain races in North America as his proving ground.
In this new series, "For the Love of Steep," we'll take you on a journey to the most vertically challenging races put on by Aravaipa Running.

Enter this film in some film festivals....it's beautiful and worthy of praise.
This is one of, if not the most beautifully filmed ultra race doc on UA-cam, always come back to this for inspo!

Grazie per questa bellissima storia!! 😉🙏🤟
Noiiice! 🔥🔥🔥
brilliant. would love to get out there some day.
I just realized that the town I'm moving to in a couple months (from Austin, TX to Cedar City, UT) is only 45 minutes from here! This is definitely going on my bucket list (but not the 100k, just a baby 1/2 marathon probably)
🤟🏼
So this is the 3rd time now that you've released this same video??? What up?
Okay, thank you. Glad I'm not the only one trying to figure out why this keeps showing up as a new video when I watched it the first time they uploaded it.
We had previously uploaded to the Steep Life Media channel and we had to fix an error hence the 2nd upload to that channel. We want all Aravaipa Race Films to live on this channel going forward hence the 3rd. Thanks for noticing!
You guys should really include an explanation of why this video has been uploaded again in the information section.
We wanted it to live on the Aravaipa Running channel instead of Steep Life Media as it is filmed and set at an Aravaipa Running race. You will see all content filmed at Aravaipa events on this channel going forward.
@@AravaipaRunning Got it. Thanks for the explanation! It's great, thanks for making it. One of these summers I'm going to get out there to run it 👍🏻
