Right now it is hard for Russians unless they are trying to get political asylum. My wife is from Ukraine and when she got here it was easy for her because she came as a refugee 2 months after the war started. When she was in immigration's at the airport they treated her very kindly and respectfully but a Russian lady that was there planning on staying 2 weeks they treated like a leper and only gave her 1 week to stay!

Where I grew up on the other side of the county is two or three towns thats quite racists.
One mile from me people from India running a gas station.
Then 4 miles down the road is a physical therapy place ran by those from India.
The university 16 miles away is very diverse.
A work visa or a visa for going to university here may be a try.
We have the Amish and Mennonites here and 12 miles away another one of their settlements and 28 miles away another started.
Their language is actually low German mixed with Swiss language, its not dutch language.
Its two hours to Canada from me, the one bridge.
I been across one way north into Canada and through the tunnel and bridge at another location.
One to go on yet, once I decide to get enhanced drivers license otherwise need passport now.

First of all, I wish you and your family the best for luck in reaching the shores of the USA. We are out not perfect, but we welcome anyone who wants to come here legally and become and become a contributing member of society. Second, one of my sons who enjoys traveling, has visited your country and did not encounter one unpleasant Russian while he was there. The trouble was the government, and it was the same way in Iran - certainly not the people, but the government. My other son is dating a lovely young woman from Iran. She refers to herself as Persian, not as Iranian. She works for the same employer as he does, but in a different location, so their meeting was strictly accidental. Her journey to the USA is a story of bravery, strength, and determination, and we admire her for that. Her first stop was Turkey, where she lived and worked for two years, during which time she became fluent in the Turkish language. While there she maintained contact with the U.S. embassy, and was finally granted permission to enter the USA. Thereupon, without knowing any English, she came to this country where she knew absolutely no one. But she got a job because she did have a Bachelors Degree from Iran, although Iran would not send her a college transcript because of the political differences between the two countries. But that did not stop her from getting another Degree. So she was working, learning the English language, and earning another Bachelors degree. Now she is working on her Masters Degree while continuing working. She is such a sweet and caring person. How we admire her and would be proud to call her our daughter-in-law.
So you may need to take a circuitous route to come to the USA legally, and there may be some delays, and maybe some heartbreaks along the way. But with determination, your journey will be successful. Good luck and best of wishes.

If someone doesn't like the country they live in, that's no problem. Doesn't make you a traitor, you just have different expectations and prefer a certain system and quality of life. I was born and raised in the US, but I don't have the same mindset as most here. My mind is more akin to Scandinavians honestly. It's well that you want to move here tho, yes, issues everywhere at all levels, tho usually they can be over come in various ways, and usually with the support of others. Awful, awful, awful place. Especially LA and San Francisco. Small towns and Vegas were not that disgusting. We were supposed to go to Florida this year but we both are still shocked and disgusted. I hope Trump wins and the country becomes normal again. I cry for u people. It ised to be such a beautiful country. So nice and friendly people. In the USA the local governments have quite a bit more autonomy than other countries. This can create a very inconsistent experience throughout the whole country.
Florida is still a decent place to be and hasn’t changed much because the State Government is actually governing where they can.

Here it depends on your credit rating and you would not have one established here.
We refianced our land before and two times.
    We got lower each time.
    Went from 6.94% to 5.00% to 3.99%.
We have excellent credit rating, ours was at 650 long ago first loan and at 760 to 780 now and even hit 800.
We refuse to do the revolving credit crap anymore which they like to raise it.
Long ago faster you paid loans higher the score, now its more you borrow constantly raises your credit score but you have to pay bills good also.
Right now with good credit rating, fixed interest on a home is around 8% to 9% and bad credit you would not get a loan but with mid rating you be paying 12% to 14%.
Houses have went sky high in price here and selling during covid but the sales are dropping now, so house prices been dropping for a year now.
Save money and they will go lower next few years I think.

Dear Mr Sanctioned: I appreciate your sentiments about moving to America. I still think that the United States is the greatest country in the world and I think that you should be able to come here. You seem to be "wide eyed" in your assessment of the challenges you would face. I must ask if you know who Marjorie Taylor Green is? I just saw her on the Steve Banon show saying that she wanted to shut down the government because that is the best way to get the DOJ off of the back of what I consider to be the worst president in my substantial life of 73 years. I believe that since Reagan there has been a substantial effort to shut down the federal government. Sometime in the 70's there was a paper penned by someone on the "right" titled "starve the beast". It proposed that when the "right" was in control that they should spend our way into debt and that when the "left" was in control that they should shut it down. Leaving the left to be blamed for the eventual bankruptcy of our federal government. There is still hope that the ACTUAL system as outlined in our constitution that our founding fathers made will prevail. One of the things that needs to be straightened out is separation of Church and State. It seems that religion is being used as a governing tool all around the world. From what i can tell even your current leader has found "the calling" so to speak. I have no problem with religion when it deals with problems of the "spirit" instead of the problems of "power". For the first time I am actually concerned for your well being. I wish you only the best!

You don't have to pay way more Taxes than in some of the States in the US, like Sales Tax 2% and income Tax I'm gonna bet is way lower then Canada. So Free health care I don't buy it. I'm from Norway and the free health care cost a lot, 25% Sales Tax and if you make more than 20 000 US Dollar it's 36% income Tax and if you make more than 55 000 US Dollars it's gonna be 46% in income Tax so that BS about free health care is a scam, it cost more than having a health insurance.

If you are a skill worker or talented in art, sport, or music you can apply for resident permanent visa. 2. If you are an investor but you have to demonstrate that you are going to invest and create jobs in USA. 3. If you are being sponsor by an American citizen, through marriage or fiance. 4. As student but you have to show your acceptance to a college or University. 5. Tourist Visa you can show a not intend to stay and it is very limited to days that you can stay in USA, as a UA-camr and proof income and followers you can easily obtain this visa. As a refugee or political persecution in your country you can request a political asylum or parole, you have to demonstrate that in court for immigration to adjust your status. Because you or your girlfriend are not married each need to request a petition separately. For being from Russia this option might be open for you two. As a married couple it is easier because it is one petition. So far these are your only options.

No free healthcare, only 2 weeks of paid holiday in most jobs, no paid paternity or maternity leave. I know you're still young, but I've been watching you long enough to know you'll end up back home even if its just out of homesickness.

Back in 1984 the real estate interest rates in the US were 18% in the US. It was absolutely awful!

As an American I loved this video. All these migrants flooding in are just think free money and a better life will just flood in. You’re 100% right, you have to work your ass off once you get here to succeed. With your work ethic, I would welcome you. I’m gonna do a little research and see what kinda options for a visa might be available for you. Good luck on this journey.

We could stand to take a lot more immigrants. In three quarters of US Counties, Deaths are higher than Births. Job vacancies are everywhere. The US birthrate is far below the replacement population (1.64 vs 2.10), having huge implications for US federal programs like Social Security and Medicare.

You're correct. You're one of the few who is educated on this topic. The birthrate isn't keeping pace with deaths in a great number of areas in the country - and there are many jobs going unfilled. And those immigrants who are here are working 24/7, often filling two or three jobs that are often very menial in nature. @@lornewazny7152

Yeah but those "just think free money" migrant's future kids will pay your Social Security and mine if SS is still even a thing in several years lol

And let's not forget that Russian immigrant Sergey Brin, cofounder of Google and consequently - ironically - UA-cam shouldn't have come here! He's apparently a freeloader to some and this search engine and related should have developed elsewhere. Smh. And, then, Sergey married Anne Wojcicki, born to Polish parents, who created the genomics company 23 and Me. Also terrible. Lol.@@Septix

@@SeptixOnly an idiot would let Social Security die. Anyone collecting a check is paying into SS and there is 'no free money' only fiction on right wing nutball websites.

Ivan, it's important to understand why people are willing to risk their lives to come to the USA. Two significant factors are the pursuit of freedom and the promise of opportunities. I genuinely believe you and Evalina would be valuable additions to this country. I hope someone with the right connections watches your channel and has the resources to support you both on your journey.

Canada may be a better choice as there is a likelihood of strong political unrest and certainly the possibility of a political uprising in the USA.
