I hope you stay safe and find a safe haven until its safe to go home.

The fact that he was able to avoid the mobilization of Army reserves (he went AWOL) and return to RU months later proves their country is more free than the US. Tens of Thousands of Americans were jailed for avoiding the Korean and Vietnam war drafts and tens of thousands more were jailed for protesting the wars because of the tyrannical "Espionage and Sedition Act" which bans speech that criticizes US military actions. This is why Julian Assange (not even an American citizen) was almost illegally jailed by the US government before escaping to the Ecuador embassy. Until Ecuador decided to hand him over to the English government.

Considering that the U.S. southern border is wide open to Nicaraguans claiming asylum it makes perfect sense that any Russian man with a boat can give it a try. I joined u.s. army when I turned 18 and served 4 years 11 bravo, came back and went into law enforcement until I got covid and then started having health issues. Glad you guys seen through the propaganda and got out. Be safe and take care brother.

Awesome content, great editing, those old videos are more interesting now in context with this one. I remember you saying that one reason you could not leave before was because of the cat so thanks for saving the cat too.

Amazing video! You documented the journey so many Russians have had to make via that route to avoid mobilization. I haven't seen any similar of that historic drive escape route. Definitely the good care you take of the car proved invaluable to making sure you made it without car problems. It's appalling that so many have had to leave home, jobs, family, friends, country because of Putin... ...Ukrainians and Russians fleeing their countries from what Putin is doing ..and it's madness. Well done on that epic drive. The last time I watched people drive through Georgia to Turkey was such a different trip - English couple Marian and Chris of Tread the Globe UA-cam channel. .. how world affairs have changed since then.. I hope your girlfriend and the cats will get safely out ... and that this war all ends soon.
