⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rick, your videos are awesome not only they instruct us but also gives us hope and encouragement. Furthermore, I'll never get tired of telling you that it is impossible to detect that you're wearing a hair-system. Thank you for posting... Abrazos
I live in west Texas and it gets super hot and I work outside. I used skin systems exclusively and wanted to try a lace. My skin system works great outside but I want to try a lace. This video now has me questioning about me getting a lace. I heard it’s better with hot weather
It would make sense that it would be better for sure. My experience has been that I could really tell little difference. Lace was a pain in the butt for me ….. but, I ve actually wanted to give it another shot myself. Problem for me too was the front hairline was not durable. Good luck!!!!!!!🍀
Hey Rick, love ur segments here and cause of u I bought the thinest system Superhair has produced. U inspired me to do this again, started systems 12yrs ago and stopped cause of bad systems and it showed. The glue always released earlier than later. Now technology has changed and ur around so let’s see where it goes. Thx for ur knowledge and guide
Hi Rick, thanks for you videos. I have an oily head too. Getting my first system next week. I'm not sure what you said at 4:45. "Hardmon"? What is that? And where do you get the no sweat spray?
Hi! I was saying that I needed that hard bond glue because of my oily skin. The glue I use is Walker Tape Ultra Hold: www.superhairpieces.com/c-22-solvent-12-0-oz/?aff=24 A scalp protector is important as well: www.superhairpieces.com/walkers-scalp-protector-2-oz-spray/?aff=24 And here is where you can find the no sweat spray! www.superhairpieces.com/ghost-bond-no-sweat-scalp-antiperspirant-8oz/?aff=24 Hope this all helps bro! Peace!!
Great vid! I’m wondering what the longest time is that you can stretch this system out? I take extremely good care of my system since just starting last Oct. I’m on a super tight budget and can in no way afford 1 monthly but really want to try this one. This place I go to wants to charge me $650 every 3 months! That’s wayyyy too much for my budget at this time. Thank you for your input.
Dude, don’t pay that much. You don’t have too. I promise you can do this yourself. Superhairpieces make it easy. The hd111 last about ten weeks and I’m not that careful. The unit is 200 bucks. That’s less than 100 bucks a month. It will last longer if you’re careful. Good luck bro
Hi Rick: I was wondering, given your professional skills and opinions as a barber, if you would consider doing a video showing how to cut your own hair (the short bio part), or even if that's advisable? I have a great hair stylist now, but you never know what the future holds. I'm considering the idea of getting Superhairpieces to do a pre-cut/style for me and that would mean I would also be considering cutting my own, short portion of my bio hair. Just looking to the future, and also thinking how nice it would be to have a number of pre-cut systems available for unforseen circumstances. Dave
@@thehighlevelman I would say a little longer, Rick. In the army they used to call it a square back, meaning it wasn't tapered. Ideally, it just covers those pesky hairs on the back sides of the neck. Like you, I much prefer to have someone else cut my hair. I have a great lady who does it now, and not planning to change, but if she moves on I'd rather not go hunting for another stylist who cuts hair systems (had a few bad experiences .... there's a learning curve). @@Prindad gotcha! And yes, there is a learning curve. I did an entire video of cutting my system. When I went back to preview it I realized I had forgotten to turn the mic on. Geeeez! lol
Depends. If I am careful I get an easy 10 weeks. I could still use it after that but the front doesn’t satisfy me after that. There have been times I have ripped it off to recklessly and made a rip in it. Yikes. So much depends on how well I care for it. Thanks for asking! -Rick
Thank you for your response! I have 2 more questions if you’d allow me? 1. Do you use any styling products on your system? 2. How do you straighten your beard? It looks great. I have a similar thickness of beard and struggle with it. Maybe that could be another video?
@@paulgump hey man! Hope your well. I do use different products on my system and my beard. On my system I use either Aveda firm hold styling gel (If I want a more retro 30’s looking style) or if I want a “looser” looking style that is softer and not so heavy I use Aveda Phomolient mousse. I most times spray a shine product at the end which helps with keeping it from getting dry looking. On my beard, (I’ve actually planned a beard video, lol) I will use the same Phomolient Mousse. I don’t use many “beard” products. Beard oil etc winds up getting all over my face and makes it oily. Don’t like it. I blow my beard dry and then use just a bit of hairspray on it, not very much, just enough to smoothie the edges down. It doesn’t feel stiff though. My facial hair is super wild and frizzy so I have to blow it dry. I use a vent brush and a round bristle brush. If I don’t, it looks like a bomb went off in it, lol. Thanks for reaching out…..,Peace brother!
Thanks again for all of that!! I’ve been questioning the use of product, especially if you don’t daily wash the hair. My beard also goes crazy when it’s long. Never thought about using hair spray on it. Thanks again!!
@@TheLegendaryLinx It will last ten weeks easy. It is Superhairpieces hd111 and is only 3 - 4 ml’s thick. Advertised as disposable but I love it because of how natural it looks.
My hd111 easily last ten weeks. The “disposable” word is another way form Superhairpieces to say, “be careful with this”. So, you buy and you fly it with not much guarantee but, the good thing is that it holds up super well. It’s my all time favorite system. Totally undetectable on your noggin! Thanks bro
Hey buddy. There are so many variables. How it is cared for, how thick the skin is on the unit and how the hair is attached to the skin. I get anywhere from 8 to 10 weeks. Sometimes more. Thanks man!
Hey man! I use c22 solvent to clean the unit. It works well. I remove the unit before I go to bed, tap the glue with cotton and spray with c22. Let it soak, overnight and use more cotton to slide the glue off. How long they last largely depends on how careful I am with them. They are easy to rip but will, last anywhere from two months to three. Peace man.
@@Leo-yd9pk yes I do. I did lace at the first. I’m super picky about an exposed hairline so it has to be poly skin for me. I could get a descent hairline with lace but the lace front did t hold up well. I was always having to trim off the frayed edge. Have a good one, and I’m always here bro!
@@thehighlevelman Ghostbond XL on the Hairlines and maybe some people could get away with Tape if they wear their Hair down in front and their Hairlines are not exposed. I don’t cut my own. I actually have many times before but I enjoy getting a haircut, but you definitely could if it’s short with clippers.
