You right about that PU......I have to install my own and PU definitely last through my gym workouts......I use the thinnest PU and it work perfect. I started using 1 layer of Walker tape over the ghost bond and its like magic
@Mickey Da Barber, here's something that you may want to try to slow down the fraying on the lace units, it's called Dritz Fray Check and I use it on wefted tracks and lace to prevent shedding and fraying. It has been used in the "weave community" for years and it works. A little goes a long way when done properly. You are an amazing Barber Stylist a true Master of the craft. Thank you for all that you bring to the Barber and Cosmo world.
I showed my mother a few of your videos.. she went on your website and purchased the PU unit and the rest of the products, and had me install it. The PU looks so real since it's clear and the hair quality, and seems really durable. Totally worth every penny. Thank you
Hey Mickey! I have to say, with the lace, it is definitely more breathable and when you have a scratch in the scalp, you can actually scratch and feel the scalp. It literally felt as if I had nothing but my own hair on my head. The PU base looks hot, but maybe perfect for the colder seasons. The plastic base should keep the head nice and warm. The lace is perfect for the summer because your scalp can breathe and not sweat as much. Either way, I’m thankful to have felt air on my head once again. Keep rocking it!
Hi Mickey, Happy Sunday evening to you. I hope you are doing well and staying safe. Great informative information about the pros and cons to the different bases. Thank you so much for sharing this. Sending positive vibes your way for a wonderful night. 🙏🏼✌🏻❤️
Hi Mickey watching your videos is like watching a block buster movie, your on pins and needles with excitement waiting for the finish product. I can watch you all night and I usually do. I love how you make the client's look and feel after the completion. You can see it in there smile's and demeanor. Thank you for making me smile and Mickey keeping me up on the night shift. Girl I wish you were here in Houston Texas I would be a client Love ya.
Hi Mickey, I’m gonna make those units you need. I’m in Charlotte 👌🏾 To clean the unit use a stocking cap on the lace units while gently shampooing with lukewarm water & rinse gently with cold.
Hi Mickley I have been doing hair systems in the UK for over 20 years now (love your work by the way) and for darker skinned clients blacks and Asians we order them the darker/brown pu so it looks more natural to their skin tone. Your supplier should be able to provide the same
Mikey you’re the best have seen so far you help people to be more confident in themselves I love ❤️ what you do wish you were in Connecticut you would have so much clients ❤
I’ve been in the “game” as a licensed cosmetologist for over 20 years. It’s a billion dollar industry. It’s a lucrative business through word of mouth advertising. I wanted a piece of that 🥧.
Mickey I would never get bored looking at your videos...you know your stuff...my sister is a retired hair dresser...she was the best in our little town...she use to do mayor wife hair...so that should tell you something...I'm going say a prayer God bless your hands and even 1 day meet celebrity that your business...will grow even more...that God grant you with successful business....I see a bless girl...you look like a sweet person...I see your eyes full with joy...that you really care about your business and customers...that is really rare...that is why I pray that God bless you with great success beautiful queen...
So glad I found this video because I’ve seen a number of the extraordinary amazing styles you’ve done with the lace units but I’ve always always wondered how long would they last. Thank you so much for putting the pros and cons text at the end but im disappointed the lace wont last that long for someone who works out 4-5 days a week. Nonetheless love ❤️ your videos!!!!
Oh my bleeping goodness, Mickey! That polyurethane (PU) unit does look too hot to wear! My core body temperature increased by 20 degrees just looking at the thing! Hehe... I love this pros and cons video you created. All of your work is AWESOME, by the way. Thanks for being so informative, creative, and incredibly brilliant. I wish you the absolute best.
This was a great video that was very informative! I like learning new things and even though I'm not in the market for either of these yet, it's good to know the pros and cons. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Why do I always end up in the rabbit hole watching your videos? So awesome! Well I do hair too but not man-weaves so IDK why it’s so fascinating. Ima really have to start checking scalps tho...lmbo
@@MickeyDaBarber I'm going to have to make plans to come for a session in your chair. I have alopecia areata and growing tired of wigs and/or weave. Where do I find the link to make an appointment or can you refer me to someone in the Charleston SC area? Thanks in advance 😊
Can you do a video on how you got started? Also.. if the client chooses, can you explain how their baldness occured? Sometimes it can be hereditary or just by something simple. I think that would help put in perspective how to continue to care for our scalps. Just a thought 😊
Hey Mickey good info on the pros and cons is there any special care with the unit? and how did you get into this? you and your magic keep up the good work and see you in the next video 🤔💈😉
My first time seeing you and not just your hands. Young & talented. How did you get this good. You work magic in your videos. I always love the end result. I live in Wisconsin, how close are you? Stay blessed & keep up the good work.
Mickey hi, if you haven't already done a video in regard to the glue to the scalp, Just wanted to know little bit more about the glue. I love your hair style creation.

Mickey I have alopecia and just hair around the back of my hair. I’m also grey but don’t want be grey. I noticed it’s hard to dye it black and it actually looks more dark brown. What would you say is a better color to dye the grey and match a hair piece to it? Platinum or blond?
Where are you in Atlanta, When this pandemic is over I want to check your shop out you do such good work. I'm interested in coming. I'm in Philadelphia. I seen you do lots of styles on older females with the pixie cut.
Hi once again it’s always good education from your channel🙏🏽 also do the lace base have the one for wave length for guys would like waves? If so where can I purchase
Hi Mickey. Thank you for that very informative piece. Stay blessed. However , which closure would you recommend between a 360⁰ lace or an ear to ear especially for someone with alopecia that is just after the hairline? Do you sell your pieces online internationally?
Nah I genuinely have love for this woman true artist and passion for her work, more health and wealth 👌🏾💙💪🏾🏆
