Thank you thank you thank you! I just got a blunderbuss kit and that Tang screw would not engage the trigger set, I have no experience fitting a trigger set everything else seemed to have plenty of room that I had built. I forgot about my Dremel and sander I do now to just nibble at it instead of taking a big hunk. I subscribed to your channel so I can watch the whole build of this kit thanks again Pete
@@TheLifeOutdoorz so I got out my dremel tool, found a stone that fit comfortably in the trigger slot and found out that the main driver gear in my 15 year old dremel had disintegrated! Going to the hardware store tomorrow - I get to buy a new tool!! - I'll watch the video again too Pete
My set trigger doesn't go up near as far as your and it won't set my gun off using it. I loosened the spring the whole way and still doesn't set it off. Lol
Traditions didnt make sure mine fit right for me. Had to grind and sand for almost every part. The trigger doesnt work either. Should have bought the assembled rifle but no one had one anywhere. Poor craftsmanship from the factory. Next time i will get a Lyman.
Any idea what would cause the hammer to not go to half cock or full cock unless the set trigger is first pulled, leaving only the light firing trigger to be pulled to drop the hammer?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge

I didn't have a Dremel available, so I used 80 grit sandpaper.
That should work

Where oh where did you find a South paw, Traditions rifle?
Hey man! I just got a kit and I'd love to get in contact with you on some questions I have!
You can get ahold of me anytime!
@@TheLifeOutdoorz sweet! I appreciate that!
Lol, let me know if I can buy you a screwdriver! You won't believe the difference it makes. 😆 Seriously though, nice work and a very helpful video.
Would have loved to watch-- annoying, unneeded music caused this to be impossible!

Either your lock screws are to tight, or you trigger group is.
