I almost forgot, if you bolt on some rubber paddles to the impellers and close the gap between the impeller and the housing will also improve the throw and mitigate some of the clogging. You will want to use some Loctite for the bolts and to leave a very small Gap so paddles are not actually rubbing on the housing. I'm kind of surprised this is not offered as an option by the manufacturers.
May God continually bless you with abundance, go get them

The best machine for moving those piles back is a telehandler with a bucket. I'm partial to skytrack 8042 with a 8' smooth bucket. I like to line up on the pile and park it and use the hydraulics to power the snow back. Very powerful machines in a very maneuverable package. Taction is amazing as well.

I bet one of those stump buckets that are pointed for pulling stumps out would break up that ice wall. I love watching you guys do the maintenance to keep things open. it's one of the things that people don't think about.

When clearing a jam, turn the machine off and push the equalizing button by the couplers, so nothing moves when you dislodge the blockage. Otherwise you can get pinched by the auger.

Gotta love a blower, they certainly have their place. & they've come a long way since 3 PT on the back of a tractor. Had a buddy, way back in '81, that bought an 8' for his truck that ran off a Kawasaki snowmobile 2stroke (oil injection) & hooked up to the truck. Was quite surprising! He had a city contract for Kalamazoo , for a bunch of dead end streets (5-6 streets /block for lineal parks) rather than dragging it back to the main street & the big city trucks, he could just blow it in front down to the park. Plus it put less abuse on his truck (figured a used truck would only last 3 years with employees driving). Thanx !

Hey Stan, maybe this could be tried for next winter, push the majority of the snow on the lot to one side and have a snowblower operator use the snowblower while the snow is still broken up to put the snow away from the lot. Maybe do it in a lot that has issues with space for parking, if the customer sees that you are keeping their whole lot cleared they might pay a bit extra on top of what you are charging for the snow removal

Whatever you buy doesn’t sit idle, that’s for sure. And it’s all tested tuff.
Good to see you putting that blower through its paces and it’s taking what you dish out.
We had our biggest snow of the season yesterday. Started at noon March 9th and ended about midnight that night.
Officially got 7.3inches. Ground temps were in the 40s, air temp in mid 30s. Maybe half left when I went to work this morning.
About 20 miles east of Moline, Illinois.
Seams like a weird winter everywhere this year.
Which skid loader is your favorite?
I have an older ASV RC30 that is, for the most part, a great little rig. Heated cab is great for pushing snow.
Had an eye on a JCB. I like the single lift arm and side entry, studying reliability and service and parts availability at the moment.

Jealous… haven’t had to use my blower in 3 winters now 😢. Giving that blower a work out!! An open sided auger blower design works better for snow banks especially banks that are set up and frozen. Lets the auger chew into the pile vs the blower box just adding way to much traction resistance. As always, I enjoy your content, thank you!! 👍🏻

Dang electrical can be a gift and a curse the first place to check is the fuse relays. Check to see if power is reaching the lights and of course if you can check the bulbs doesn't hurt. Check to see if there are recalls and solutions to this problem.
I tried to keep spare parts and tools available and just like shear pins I will keep spare bulbs and fuses. I will also add ancillary LED lights and illuminated switches to support to the existing lights which improve operations for me and or other drivers
