I've always wondered what happens when you get smacked at low altitude. Thankfully there's little reason to go that low in the areas with lightning

i think that the English voice lines are kinda cheesy or cringe. Japanese somehow sounds more believable, but that could be my high bias.

In past games I haven't been able to tell much of a difference between the Sukhoi fighter planes, so I am happy to say that the su33 with the rail gun is a real monster. Most planes in the game after the initial few choices are surprisingly viable even as late game choices, given the right selection of weapons and parts, which is cool. I still wish the mig35 or f15active (or even the silent eagle) was in the game though...
Hey you, you're in luck. The MiG-35 "Super Flanker" is being added to the game in a DLC.
NGL, many sukhois use similar body plan. Only planes to fall out of this trend are Su-25 (Frogfoot), Su-34 (Fullback), Su-47 (Berkut) and SU-57 (Felon). So its normal to get confused.

In all of my AC games, this is the first mission where I actually failed. (Not counting crashing and/or getting shot down)
Specifically when I was supposed to protect the others. ("allowed" one to get shot down)

I chased him into the storm, it's actually not as hard as it looks, so long as you can keep up enough speed to hit high-g turns at the last second. The winds and the rocks make the two pilots more equal, but you have time on your side. You only need to distract the Su 30, not kill him.

The continental war refers to the war in ace combat , 4
Avril's grandfather flew for Osea, so the enemy ace couldn't have been Mobius 1. Was probably an encounter either during the Belkan War or Circum Pacific War. Likely the former as Belka had multiple skilled aces.

I loved the EML personally. It could be a bit troublesome to aim, but so long as your aim is true, the enemy is dead.
This is my first time playing a flying game and this mission took me like 10 retries before I finally finished it. You make it look easy. :D

I think I actually got him to say "Well, I'm getting a little excited" when I was fighting him. And since it was my first run of the campaign, I really took it as a compliment, especially when I learned more about him later.
Love this game... though I am now stuck at this mission.

@@JohnSmith-qz6xb Fly above the clouds and shoot the drones with LAAM. You won't get hit by lightning. A couple drones will come up to meet you above the clouds as well.

i know i am a bit late to this parade, but i am trying to complete the campaign without playing online to unlock op planes. so im going up against an su-30 with a tomcat and a f-16c... is this even possible ( he says after raging his 17th attempt fighting the su-30 with these obselete vehicles)?
s' possible. I did it with the starter jet.
It's not easy, but it's possible. I did it in my very first or second plane in hard difficulty. I was no where near as good as the video maker either. I just made use of all the resources I had including flares etc to beat the boss.

Im playig on normal and expert controls for a beginner, farmed a lot of earlier levels for f35c.
Fuck this map, died so many times on the mountains than the actual dogfights. And those thunderstorm jumpscares oh god..
mostly i use f15 eagle but i finished it with think it was fulcrum mig29. I love/hate this game. I hate that bamco has not yet released idolmaster skins. Other than that, solid 9.9/10 so far.

Mihaly plans every missile shot, to the degree that it always 'connects' with the enemy. Trigger is the first pilot that Mihaly faces that can dodge his missiles.
Think about it, Brownie from Mage squadron, Champ from Spare and Wiseman from Cyclops went down in 1 missile hit from Mihaly, only Trigger was able to dodge and survive

Tbh I play on like normal difficulty and for some reason I just can't finish this mission, the first couple uavs are easy but when the rest start spawning it gets a lot harder since as you have to defend more than 1 target and each of them get chased by about 2 uavs, so you try to defend one guy and whilst you do another gets shot down. after a while, replaying this mission I just gave up.
Try using air to air special missiles that can chase enemies.
I think the map is based of one of china's landscape, im not sure though

that's just a high g turn, throttle and brake at same time on pad, on stick it's a button that varies depending on the stick

if you are talking about Trigger's canon plane, it is the F-16, F-15, and F-22.
Personally, it's up to you what kind of plane you want Trigger to fly in. For me, I went with the Mirage 2000-5 up until the turning point, then I finish the rest with the Rafale M. You can't go wrong flying a multirole delta.
I ran the Russian route, Su-33, Su-35S and the Su-57
I mained the whole thing in an F-14 and it was amazing

Welcome to the MOST ANNOYING MISSION EVER jussssst cause of the last enemies ability to evade ANY PHYSICS the player cannnnot follow. Fucking this mission made me hate ace combat...
I managed to beat this mission with the f14 but yeah the last enemy was always behind me
The most annoying mission for me was the one before this where you had to get around 20000 points and each target only gave around 100

Dude, learn to aim. You kept hitting his plane on non critical areas during the whole fight.
This mission is impossible I've been trying it for months always lose ,garbage game .
Um which part? The anti ground part is fairly easy, the Drone part is a little tricky, but the radar pings which ally is in trouble and gives you ample amounts of time to take the drones out. If you hear a name being repeated multiple times (Like Cyclops 3, hes a difficult one) drop your current drone and assist him instead. Each ally can take a couple hits, so use that to mitigate damage on them. Also, you can bait the drones into attacking you instead of your allies, and if you fly off it takes them awhile to relock on your allies.
Last of all, the part with Mihaly. You actually need to only land one or two shots on him (I completed it by landing one, not sure but it maybe possible to complete it without ever hutting him) and then just joust and wait out the duel. If youre having trouble with terrain then try flying above the clouds (pretty sure Mihaly locks onto you specifically so you can dictate the terms of engagement). The Thunderclouds aren't all too bad, its extremely rare to get like 4 or 5 hits in the entire mission. In terms of dogfighting Mihaky, just turn into his missiles and they should overshoot
@@ryankoh917 well i got lightning hit 5 time in a row dog fighting Mihaly while evade all his missile, sadly that i cant lock on to him because of the damn camera angle

The physics are entirely ignored and thrown out the window. G forces? Whats that? Black outs from over Gs? Huh?
Stalls causing your plane to instantly drop down as if forward momentum didn't exist and you just drop like a rock.
Multi billion dollar aircrafts from advanced civilizations? A little wind and lightning makes planes almost unusable.
Want to use your (what SHOULD be cannons not MGs as modern fighters use cannons) Guns? Lololol GTFO. Even though fighters use ammo that are FLAMING EXPLODING TRACER ROUNDS...they hit almost nothing and do nothing.
You shot the enemy wing and they're still flying as if nothing happened at all? Haha that's Ace combat for you.
You sent literal hell fire at a (boss) that is flying directly at you and none of it hits because HURRHURR PHYSIC SAY BULLET NO TRAVEL FORWARD HURRR BULLET ONLY TRAVEL 50 FEET HURRR MOMENTUMS? WHAT THAT? BULLET DROP? DURRRRRR
Planes not having ANY air breaks yet able to perform massive high G turns that would kill a person REPEATEDLY. HURRRR Ace combaaaat.

The fans of this series make me honestly sad for the future of aviation games. Clearly the stupid "BRROOOO ITS LIKE...SO PRETTY BRO BRO BRO THIS GAME IS SICK!!! BROOOOOO!!!!!" Folks have taken hold and they don't want to let go.
the entire ace combat series is like the metal gear rising of aviation games. its supposed to be unrealistic. ac7 is just another game that makes you feel powerful, like dmc5, etc. also.. war thunder isn't realistic. try dcs.

If you don't like this type of games, fine by us. Just don't go around saying the game only looks good just cuz you don't like it
This mission is horrible, if I'd got to it inside 2 hours I'd have refunded the game.
