One of my favorite details is how you can see a cursor moving around during the briefings after Farbanti. Information just can't be uploaded from home anymore, so they have to draw out the plan themselves.

That's not Long Caster. That's Jaeger doing the briefing. The briefing officer is NOT the AWACS officer, and vice versa (the AWACS officer is NOT the briefing officer).

I recently got the Top Gun DLC. I got the DarkStar ready, and knew this was the mission I wanted to take it out on its first flight on. After the Supply Ships launch from the Mass Driver, I put my DarkStar to full speed, and was pretty soon right behind the first Supply Ship with a giant smile and saying 'Hey, buddy, you looked pretty lonely.'
Everyone mentions the cursor hovering over Megalith, but I love all the other little details on the map, like Los Canas where Tango Line was. If you zoom in a bit on the bottom right, you can see “Halle/Crowne/Caranda Beach”, the names of the beaches in Operation Bunker Shot. And if you really look in the top right near North Point, you can see Rigley Air Base, where Imminent Threat took place.

This level is solid! It took me about 40 odd times to get finally got the job done. Now I can eat 😂
What difficulty? I would have gotten it first try on normal if my controller didn't fuck me over and start doing loops
@@Jusuff Just finished it today, took me a couple tries. I realized what I was doing wrong was that I destroyed targets before identifying them, which doesn't count towards your score. Also got the S rank and Mantis.

I’m the exact same except over 30 times, it’s the part with the bombers you don’t know if they are above you or below you. It’s a pain in the arse!

I get that up to that point, they didn’t know what the mass driver was for, or that would be used within a few minutes, but it makes me wonder if it would have been better to just bomb the railing of it. Make it unusable for the supply ships to launch from.
Oh dear. AC7 is many times harder than previous AC games I've played. Thought I only played AC2, AC3, and AC Zero.

I recommend the f-15 with a multi-lock if your still stuck

If you’ve played it often enough you’ll see they ain’t friendlies so you know what ones to aim and fire at.

So, I still can't figure out how he gets all the unknowns to ID so fast. It takes 3 or 4x that long for me. Here it is nearly instant! How does that work? I saw a comment below that it had something to do with his speed, but I have not been able to duplicate that. Is there some aircraft part that speeds up identification? (I hate these ID missions, BTW)

Holding Y on the Xbox controller or triangle on a PlayStation controller locks the center of the camera to the target, making the process much easier.
The better you center the target, the faster it is.
A detail I quite enjoyed about these last two missions is neither the ‘Conservatives’ nor ‘Radicals’ are wholly right in this situation. The player has to attack both parties equally. The fog of war has lead to irrationality among all men, and so neither party can be sided with whole and entire.

If you're playing with keyboard - it should be G. You can always check in the options. Be careful not to waste the flares, though, you only have a few.

What exactly was their plan for Tyler Island? The briefing seemed to imply that they wanted to use the mass driver to fly back to Osea in a supply ship.
Hold the mass driver for long enough to launch supply ships for the Arsenal Bird - with it, Erusea might have a fighting chance.

@@william.i.herman Capture Tyler Island as a base of operations. It's the closest major base to the Space Elevator in Selatapura. They expected Osean forces to have taken the island or at least making good progress to taking the island, but the LRSSG found out they were already retreating.

What load out on easy mode. I tried the f35 w\ the su47 berkut, easy mode engine uogrades needed. Ab,py,eup3x,missle speed homing tried?, stuck on easy difficulty. Flash drive also helped. 128 in front on xbone. Only four bombers + migs, ive been trying to keep my flares for protection. from. Migs guarding b-1lancers. desqised. as classic russian bombers they lied. B1 blast off.
this mission gave all kinds off illnesses and yes it gave me terminal cancer. FUck this mission tbh

Try F14. The ultra long range missiles make the bombers and supply ships easy. I lost first time with the F35 and passed easily with the tomcat
