I don’t know what the weak link on these axles will be, the shafts are MASSIVE, And gears look good. Performance should be similar to the old XR days but will a little better weight distribution now. Chassis have been simplified is all.
Seems like we've been here before. My issue with MOA is unless you have some really challenging terrain they're just not a lot of fun. There's no challenge on basic courses where center drive trucks have to plan and execute your lines well. For many of us we just don't have the type of terrain available to make MOA a lot of fun. Hence why I sold my XR10 after only 6 months. Think this is similar reason I see many barely used SCX6s for sale, just not enough challenge to be fun.
Downgraded my scaler for the exact same reason. Stripped away everything unnecessary, lcg rails, ultralight body, etc. Could get up everything that wasn't steeper than 80 degrees, boring as, completely stopped playing for a year. Reset to the original much heavier body, took out lcg rails, added original parts back, added a lot more scale elements, added lights, little accessories. Crawls much worse, but much more fun. A lot of obstacles actually require skill, momentum, timing, going slow, going fast, finding the best lines. Cheater rig had 0 skill.

It’s a common placement, keeping the weight low is the highest priority and since it’s in the front it’s usually easy enough to steer the tires where you want them. But they will get some rash.

Whoa that bad boys is not cheap lol. But omg the thing looks amazing and very well built. Guess if I ever get an moa crawler it’ll be the rc4wd bully 😂
