Thank you for talking slow and going step by step with us. The pros forget that this is all new to us and typically go super fast….
You just made my life so easier, i was stressing about the skrew part of the product model for 2 days straight untill i found this video. Thanks man
A really easy way to get screw shapes is a default add-on called "Bolt Factory" with lets you make nearly any screw. After sizing it you can use the Boolean modifier and apply the screw shape another object, then you have an object with a screw feature
Great tip! thanks for sharing!
Thanks for always great tips!
I know how hard I struggled back in 2020 when I started learning to do cosmetic mocks & this thread made me go nuts. Not a single tutorial I found was helpful at that time. I am glad you uploaded this so that the people who starting to learn blender today will find it extremely helpful.
Glad to see you here mate🤓 more useful tutorials coming up, stay tuned 💪
@@WenboZhao You have amazing content. I just turned notifications for your chancel & will recommend to others also. You covered so many topics none of the other UA-camrs from blender community covered. Thanks a lot hope your channel grows. :)
Tutorial came in clutch! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you ! Your methods helped me a lot, In fact these are handy when dealing with spirals in general!
Thank you for the video, I'm going to start to watch every tutorial of you
As always Wenbo, very useful and helpful! Thanks!
Thanks Jojo
Nice work mate. Clear and concise. Around the 4:10 mark, instead of manually going around selecting each face around the screw, you can go to face mode on edit mode (3 on the keyboard) and click while holding alt on a vertical edge between the loopcuts you created before. This will automatically select each connected face around the screw. But yes, nice one!
Great tip mate! Thanks a lot!

at 4:20 you select two consequent faces and just press and hold (CTRL SHIFT and + ) and it will repeat the process. btw great tutorial. Keep it up!
thanks
thank uuu!
Thank you
yeah youre clearly right that why i am watching this tutorial
lol🤓 i got you 😉
Excellent! thanks

@@WenboZhao I send You a cookie ;) Best regards
i am learning topology from you.... from 1 year i am trying but fianlly i get the channel to learn topology
Thank you!!!
You’re welcome ☺️
Thank You
Thanks for the video! I like to learn numerous ways to model the same thing and this was an interesting way to achieve this shape. I do believe that if you add a weld modifier and then apply screw and weld that should remove the issue of the overlapping vertices as merging by distance after doing so resulted in 0 vertices merged. Hope this may help.
Great thinking my friend, all roads lead to Rome, thank you for sharing this, I will try it myself🥰
Thank you for this I needed this ♥, one thing, at 4:40 when you scale up after pressing "S" to scale like that you have to press Shift + Z to mute /stop scaling along the Z axis because the first screw and third one if you see them at 4:49 they are deformed up and down too much (check both sides).
Thanks for noticing
Thank u
Love your work! Can you also show how you did the other parts of the model (the lid and the container) please? Beginner here and want to learn aggressively! Thanks!
Check out my case study videos on UA-cam, you will know how to do it
Nice
thank you
You’re welcome ☺️
Amasing. Can you do a video how to do this screw inside the cap? Thanks
Hello Wenbo,
Great video. Do you have any tutorials to show how to create the rest of the bottle?
Nope, I have a course to teach people to do this
THX
`Thank you
You’re welcome ☺️
Amazing and awsome tutorial . one of the best channel thanks sharing for sharing. But I faced a problem when I want to insert the first face i hitted I then B but it doesnt give me the same result you have done kindly what can I do please??
Watch carefully, make sure your don’t miss any steps when you build the mesh, you will get the same result💪
❤️❤️❤️
🥰🥰🥰
👏👏👏👏👏
🥰
thanks! but how do I create suitable lid?
i cant get mine to look like this, every time i add modifier it lookjs like a solid staircase
at 7:09, When I push I to insert and then B for the boundry, my boundry box is positioned at the top insead of the side like yours. How do i switch it?
Make sure you have the proper support loop
You can also subdivide and add more loops if you need more than the face count he intended but overall great tutorial
How to add shortcut svur? In my blender isnt available. Thanks
my bad, it is a free open sources addon, you can download it here: github.com/jayanam/shortcut_VUr
Please could you show how to get the show keys thingy
What do you mean?
@@WenboZhao the addon where it show like when you left click or press a key or middle click stuff like that
can anyone help me that when following the step in 6:42, the inset is not in proportion. thank you!!
Try control + A to apply scale
from 5:50, i dont know what these shortcuts are standing for to make it same lv
, i pressed the button but they didnt work. Please help me! Thank you
Are you using a Mac or a pc
@@WenboZhao I am using PC
@@WenboZhao using PC too, cant see the keys on the screen bcouse something is hiding it. can explain here? thanks alot!!
wenbo 你好,请问我在merge distance 的时候出现只是remove 1 vertices instead of 17 vertices, 这样的结果是没有跟到你步骤。 我发现后面adding loop cuts 出现问题。请问要怎样处理。
this happen because the plane size must be set to 1m
what if theres a single thread how can i do that?
Same step, one less step on screw modifier
@@WenboZhao I tried it but my thread was blocky and it didn't looked good 😅 gotta try something else
6:06 short cut please.❤️
G+Z and drag down
Thank you
You’re welcome ☺️
