this is the best chase them. It's been a while and still no one has topped this. The 2nd phase, where he's 16 meters from you is the best imo. Sometimes I want him to be around me just to listen to the violins switching from note to note so drastically. I love this theme
@@iaceAC yeah, wesker's theme is amazing because it also fits him, like, he has a whole ass choir. What better way to show you're a narcissist than having a choir while chasing after survivors
The thing I love about this theme is it gives off a feeling of dread and something powerful searching for something and then the chase it’s found what it wants and won’t stop until it gets it
What’s even worse is when he has Tinkerer or some other undectable perk and all you hear moments before being smacked are his massive, heavy footsteps.
I wish Nemsis's power in this game was something more aggressive like crashing through walls and pallets, grabbing and throwing survivors, or something like ignoring a stun and throwing the pallet back up. He doesn't feel very intimidating anymore after playing against him for a while, since he just tries to slap you with the funny tentacle and you can get hit up to 3 times before going down
@@xRougeButterfly You are right. I am not talking about the character design. Talking about how scary Nemesis is in DBD in comparison to the RE3 Remake
Perfect choice for a chase theme it makes you feel like it was taken right from Resident Evil. Also, the choices for this chapter for this were so good. Leon is Leon what can I say Jill is arguably the most recognizable female in the franchise and one of the original protagonists from the game that started it all and Nemesis is a classic monster and honestly a better choice over Mr. X. I understand Village fans are upset Lady D isn't in but if she was don't take this the wrong way but IF she was the choice it would honestly be a waste of the license rights and it also and a missed opportunity to not have the classic characters. Don't get me wrong noting wrong with Village or Ethan or Lady D but for this chapter and for the license rights and classic RE was IMO the correct way to go. I'm so glad that they did go with classic RE btw. Also, no joke I added this to my workout playlist it gets you pumped up in a weird way.
Anyone who is mad cause they didn’t get Lady D is just a mega simp and needs to get cultured. Nemesis and Mr. X are the original OG’s of the franchise and were the only ones in my opinion who deserved a chance to be in DBD.
I remember my first game when I encountered Nemesis. I wasn't playing dbd for a long time and I wasn't up to date with new killers and stuff. So I'm working on a gen, chilling, and then he fucking appears. His walking animation literally terrified me as for the first time in my dbd gameplay I thought "OH GOD HE IS CHASING AFTER ME" and so I completely forgot the game rules and mechanics, left 99% gen and started running like a bitch. 10/10 would get spooked again
I was in KYF when Nemesis came out and my friends never faced him. I was playing Nemesis and I chased after my 15 yo friend and I remember he legit screamed “THIS GUY IS LIKE THANOS?!!!!”
I just cant get enough of the accuracy of the music. This is literally a remix of Nemesis' original theme from his first game but still has that modern doomsday sound that you get from the Remake, the same for Wesker, hearing that they remixed "Winds of Madness" to his chase music in DBD is wonderful, the Silent Hill theme turned to the DBD lobby theme, Michael Myers Chase music turned into a fast paced remix of his iconic theme. Michael F April is one magnificent being. I can not wait to see the next licensed chapter, one of the most exciting things about licenses is the music being turned into a DBD remix and that is a unique feature this game holds to.
@@Fabri0501 I honestly don't even compare the two, they both have their different vibes that they give off just as the characters themselves. They both sound uniquely well made.
The best chase music in the game along with Myers and Demo. But there’s just something about Nemesis I love, he’s arguably my favourite killer to play as and against.
Nemesis feels like a proper boss fight too rather than an unfair enemy. He’s both strong, intimadating, has zombie minions and almost near indestructible but not stupidly broken
layer 1 (32m) sounds like you have a feeling something is about to happen. layer 2 (16m) sounds like someone or something is hunting you down and it wont stop and no-one or nothing is stopping it until it kills you. (ref) layer 3 (on your cheecks(8m)) sounds like something is running at you at insane speeds with heavy and loud footsteps *that* make your whole body freeze. (you're cooked🙏🙏) layer 4 (chase) sounds like and looks like you're getting chased by lore accurate broly. no other words other than "run for your life"
The only build I’ll ever bring the Nemmy is Bamboozle, Brutal Strength, Superior Anatomy, and Enduring. It makes you feel how powerful Nemesis really feels
sometimes it’s hard to tell a difference between terror radius and chase themes. You know the difference with Nemesis. When he’s near you the music is epic, but when he chases you it’s like facing God.
It took a Doomguy-worthy railgun just to kill him in the new timeline. Here, the only way he’s dying is if the Entity finds a new toy (or they lose the RE license) and say “bored now!”
The music, the thumping noises of his boot, the grunting and zombie like noises he makes, the feeling of power he exudes. Nemesis is so much fun to play against and play as, for me at least, even when losing it still feels fun to play against something that feels like it could snap you like a twig in any given second.
I love this theme more than the one in RE3, it sounds like you are always being chased by something that you are not quite sure what it even is. It's an ominous force always looking for you. And I love the sound of the gas pipe leaking as well as the siren at the beginning of the theme. It kinda captures the feeling of him bringing the entirety of Racoon City with him with all those noises. So playing against Nemesis on RPD is the most immersive experience you could have without ever playing Resident Evil beforehand.
I love the 16 meter one because its a callback to the original Resident Evil soundtrack. Like how they had the violin riffs in it to make your hair stand on end
32 meters: hes an intelligent bio weapon he knows where you are he knows what his plan is 16 meters: your hiding with fear and you hear heavy footsteps hes looking for you 8 meters: he found you Chase: all it takes is one big fist in your face to die and hes mike the nemesis tyson
Ah yes the sounds of Dwight crouching everywhere being scared Bill trying to do a gen but missing EVERY skill check Random ass fucking laurie slams a pallet for no reason 5 gens left and you just got in a chase with the guy
Layer one is ominous, like just the fog itself. A knowing that something is out in the fog. Layer 2 is like seeing the zombies for the first time, slowly shambling about. Each violin sting is the zombies moving ever closer. Layer 3 is hearing the low, heavy foot steps of a huge lumbering creature. And the chase is seeing it barreling at you full speed.
I’ve been using these tracks as music for when I run my 5Ks. Usually the 8 meters + chase part. If you’re a runner and a fan of this game you should try it. So fun and motivating lol.
Can we just talk about the simplistic genius of dbd’s theme artists in this piece. They perfectly captured the fear of nemesis with three simple parts. 3:07 The track begins with a sinister uprising empathizing nemesis’s intentions and how he’s more then capable of completing the task 3:09 The track then makes a echoing roar showing you nemesis’s size, confirming for you the shear mass of power that is chasing you, it is looming in comparison to you making you shudder. 3:17 Then right after repeating the two previous parts it makes this alarm-like sound to inspire panic, that death is closing in and you only have a few seconds to react. The alarm could also be in relation to the chaos nemesis caused in raccoon city with alarms going off all over the city due to the zombies. Whatever the intention the track accomplishes representing nemesis musically as oppressive panic, which is often how I took it playing RE3
It always creeps me the fuck out with those shriek sounds at the start. When I hear that I probably won’t get out of that chase easily and the way he runs is the most intimidating out of all the killers.
I’m glad they chose Jill as one of the base characters as she hasn’t gotten too much to do in the franchise despite her recent remake and her still being one of the most popular characters.
I love Pyramid Head's chase theme, but I think this one takes the cake. While the game may be full of bugs and hackers, one thing Behavior doesn't skip out on is the soundtrack.
I remember when I got back into dbd after, oh let's say, four years or so of not playing and I got into a swf with some buddies who have been playing it that entire time, I go onto a generator trying to remember all the controls and I see fucking Nemesis from RE in the cornfields sprinting towards me so I take off only to get jumped by a zombie and slapped with the tentacle while the chase music blared in my ears. Let me tell you, I have never been more exhilarated playing survivor in my life.

His terror radius and chase music is one of the reasons I main him. I feel so intimidating when I play him and love his aesthetic
While hearing his loud and intimidating footsteps. He’s the only killer u can literally hear walking
Demogorgon probably has the loudest footstep sounds of them all. Heck, the Demogorgon himself is actually insanely large but he keeps stunting his own size with his hunched over stance.

You can also hear wraith sounds while he is invisible
You can hear all killer footsteps
Bro I hear Onis footsteps from a mile
this chase music lives rent free in my head because its just that fucking good
Bill when he sees the Nemesis has zombies: "Oh no not you assholes again."
The amount of PTSD bill has. He spent a long time trying to make a plan to defeat the zombies, kill countless amounts of them, be killed by them, only to go into a realm where there’s even MORE. And he doesn’t have a gun.
Atleast this ones doesnt run or do some parkour shit like the green flu zombie

His stomping when he walks just makes the terror radius even more scarier

Doesn’t matter how good of a looper I can be, Nemesis scares the shit out of me and I always panic trying to loop him.

When Nemesis roars at survivors after he injures them, you can sense the anger he's letting out
this is the best chase them. It's been a while and still no one has topped this. The 2nd phase, where he's 16 meters from you is the best imo. Sometimes I want him to be around me just to listen to the violins switching from note to note so drastically. I love this theme
Sameeeeeeeeeeeeee
Only chase themes that compare are blight and wesker
My fav chase theme but phase 2 is amazing asf
@@iaceAC yeah, wesker's theme is amazing because it also fits him, like, he has a whole ass choir. What better way to show you're a narcissist than having a choir while chasing after survivors
The thing I love about this theme is it gives off a feeling of dread and something powerful searching for something and then the chase it’s found what it wants and won’t stop until it gets it
I always tunnel my targets as Nemesis.

Myers, Oni, Demo and Deathslingers sound better imo
yes ur right, its the best chase music, just fantastic
@get bamboozled I won't say best
But it's amazing as it's so horrifying
What’s even worse is when he has Tinkerer or some other undectable perk and all you hear moments before being smacked are his massive, heavy footsteps.
😬
I wish Nemsis's power in this game was something more aggressive like crashing through walls and pallets, grabbing and throwing survivors, or something like ignoring a stun and throwing the pallet back up. He doesn't feel very intimidating anymore after playing against him for a while, since he just tries to slap you with the funny tentacle and you can get hit up to 3 times before going down
Better Idea:give him his RE:Resistance Power pack
They did Nemesis better in DBD than in RE3 Remake.
It’s the same design what you talking about?
Let him hype it up in his own way

POV:. You just got unhooked and Nemesis decided to tunnel the shit out of you for pressure
Hope the Plague receive a Lady D. skin in the future, just like Steven received a Jhonatan skin.
Anyone who is mad cause they didn’t get Lady D is just a mega simp and needs to get cultured. Nemesis and Mr. X are the original OG’s of the franchise and were the only ones in my opinion who deserved a chance to be in DBD.

Agreed!! Also William Birkin and Lisa Trevot also deserved a spot in DBD.
Lady D was a mistake, I feel bad for the person who designed her.
Anytime I hear this in dbd, either playing as or against nemesis, I literally vibe out to this chase music
its like avengers ost tbh

Yeah man thats why I think Weskers theme is not that good as Nemesis theme
@@Fabri0501 I honestly don't even compare the two, they both have their different vibes that they give off just as the characters themselves. They both sound uniquely well made.

The best chase music in the game along with Myers and Demo. But there’s just something about Nemesis I love, he’s arguably my favourite killer to play as and against.
I agree with you, by far one of the most tense chases in the entire game.
Nemesis feels like a proper boss fight too rather than an unfair enemy. He’s both strong, intimadating, has zombie minions and almost near indestructible but not stupidly broken
He’s just so different. He’s not horror scary, he’s scary cause of his sheer size and loud footsteps

sometimes it’s hard to tell a difference between terror radius and chase themes.
You know the difference with Nemesis.
When he’s near you the music is epic, but when he chases you it’s like facing God.
This is even more true for Wesker
@@William256no looping him feels goofy cuz of his 🤓🤓🤓ahh voice lines
It took a Doomguy-worthy railgun just to kill him in the new timeline. Here, the only way he’s dying is if the Entity finds a new toy (or they lose the RE license) and say “bored now!”
I’ve been so excited to hear this and I’m not disappointed in the slightest
This theme combined with the loud footsteps following you is terrifying.
Woah! This chase music sounds incredible! This theme totally fits Nemesis! 😊👌

Hello Ada Wong, will you be joining us in the fog soon?
I’ve been using these tracks as music for when I run my 5Ks. Usually the 8 meters + chase part. If you’re a runner and a fan of this game you should try it. So fun and motivating lol.
Can we just talk about the simplistic genius of dbd’s theme artists in this piece. They perfectly captured the fear of nemesis with three simple parts.
3:07
The track begins with a sinister uprising empathizing nemesis’s intentions and how he’s more then capable of completing the task
3:09
The track then makes a echoing roar showing you nemesis’s size, confirming for you the shear mass of power that is chasing you, it is looming in comparison to you making you shudder.
3:17
Then right after repeating the two previous parts it makes this alarm-like sound to inspire panic, that death is closing in and you only have a few seconds to react. The alarm could also be in relation to the chaos nemesis caused in raccoon city with alarms going off all over the city due to the zombies.
Whatever the intention the track accomplishes representing nemesis musically as oppressive panic, which is often how I took it playing RE3
Underrated comment
Revisiting this gem before Resident Evil: Project W comes out
It always creeps me the fuck out with those shriek sounds at the start. When I hear that I probably won’t get out of that chase easily and the way he runs is the most intimidating out of all the killers.
