    Damn I sure miss days like these. Lived in Northern California my whole life, born and raised. I did venture out to Montana for a while and discovered the beauty of that place. Had the time of my life, the State just lacked one thing. Coastal streams that hold Sea Lice Bearing Salmon and Steelhead. The Fishing has definitely declined on my home water unfortunately doesn’t seem to be reversing roles anytime soon. Hopefully one of our backyard systems can once again thrive once they remove the Dams. Anyway we still get days like this now and then in fall. But this video brought me back to being a kid with my Dad and Uncle cleaning up on fish with Roe and then once they didn’t want that anymore it was time for back trolling plugs to finish it off, sometimes getting 3,5 even 7-8 kings out of one slot and shit on one of my favorite rivers that would happen at the put in or boat launch. Had 15-20 fish days easy. Amazing.. . Kinda random comment of mine here I no, just wanted to thank you for bringing me back to when life was just better. Nice video.

    Do you put that scooter in your boat and when you get to the pull out you unload the bike and someone rides it to the truck? I saw that scooter in the beginning of the video.

    Awesome video!! Are you bobber dogging this double rig or is this a vertical presentation?

    • @ElevatedFishing
      @ElevatedFishing  3 роки тому

      It's a vertical presentation but you could bobber dog it as well. 👍

      Your on a great river now , The Umpqua. Hire a guide and learn the holes and how to rig up and you have it.

    Swinging on a dunk is more fun but my landing ratio goes way up on a reel down, especially with eggs

    Are you guys running heavier pin rods for chinook or the same rods you use for steelhead? Thanks!

    • @ElevatedFishing
      @ElevatedFishing  11 місяців тому +1

      Yes. We fish 12’ 10-20lb pin rods.

      They aren't spawning 5 miles above tidewater. These fish have another 40 miles to go before they start spawning. 👍
