    Stupid question probably for fishers but I kinda just got back into salmon fishing and teaching my nephew. Use to go a lot as a kid but never really payed attention, just fished ya know.
    Anyway my question is why do fishers use spawn sacs as bait even tho salmon don’t eat during spawn. Years back, I remember my friends and me would just have a treble with some rubber baits and a piece of styrofoam with some weight 10inches down. And they’d just swim through it with their mouth open.

    • @salmontroutsteelheadermaga5925
      @salmontroutsteelheadermaga5925  4 роки тому +2

      You can, but you run the risk of taking forever to land the fish, or not being able to stop the fish. If you're in slow current, or big holes you'll have an easier time. The faster the current, more rapids etc - more you'll want to go heavier. We'd usually recommend at least 10-17 10-20 for chinook.

Some people tell me to key the side of his Chevy, and others suggest finding the biggest rock and put through his window. Then the less invasive to let the air from his tires. Still there are those that believe in some SWEET eggs into the gas tank sends the message very well? Can you PLEASE share which of these methods have you used, and what was the BEST!!!! LOL.
