Those heart jelly beans are some of the best candy TJs makes. I can’t stop eating them once I open a bag. And I don’t even like regular jelly beans. Highly recommend! Thanks for the heads up they are back in. Time for a trip to stock up for the year.
Hello Gina. TJ receives most of their bread 'frozen' - they thaw it and then put it on shelves. After so many years of shopping there, I didn't realize it until last month when we were hosting a dinner party and needed gluten-free bread, an employee asked me if I was okay if it was still frozen. This is when I learned from him that many of their breads arrive at their stores frozen. :)
Thank you for showing the nutrition facts as much as possible. My kids have food allergies and I always see yummy things, helps me know if it’s worth the 45 minute drive.
That tomato dumpling soup is amazing! It’s got that wonderful back of the throat burn… not too spicy, though! We don’t like the dumplings, though, but they are easy to pick out!
Happy Friday Gina! Thank you for the taste test it helps me know what to buy or skip. I wish I can use the rose hand cream, but with my fragrance sensitivity, I think I’ll pass on this cream. I hope TJ will make some hand cream with this creaminess but fragrance free🌷
There's also another new nut mix with little chocolates and assorted nuts-package has a cute heart too and it's in a 12 ounce bag so you get a nice amount!!
Great finds. I already know what I am gonna get should I happen to swing by Trader Joes. Can you do a review on the bag of Scallops and Mushrooms? I would like to know if it’s worth buying.
i am so glad i watched this 80's tv show called Living Dolls (it's a Who's The Boss spinoff) and the model's manager makes up a story about owning a macadamia tree farm in hawaii when she pretends to be the model's mom at a dinner to meet the model's rich boyfriend's parents.
That tomato soup is sooooo good. I buy multiple jars at a time when they have it. It’s got a kick to it and it goes really well with the garlic gondolas!
I picked up the rose oil hand cream on Monday and like it very much. The fragrance isn't as pure rose as I would like, however, the consistency rivals that of $30 L'Occitane shea butter hand cream, in my opinion. It is well worth the $5 price and I will have to go back and stock up for the rest of the year! Another thing I tried not new to TJ's but new to me was the jalapeño sauce. It is soooo good! If it wasn't so hot, I could drink it! Delicious on tacos, sandwiches, as a dip, any excuse I can find to use it! 😄
Same here, I don't think I have either. Although, I have been given free items by the cashier after seasons - very common here in Los Angeles at a few of my local TJ stores.
My Trader Joe’s gave away the pretzel drumstick decorating kits when they didn’t sell well. It was a fun craft for my niece and nephew and was a yummy snack too! I wonder if the markdowns or giveaways are up to the managers discretion?
Thank you for sharing, Gina! The treats look great for Valentine’s Day.
Superbread is so good! Toasts up great with 9g protein. Makes excellent avocado toast.
That's great to hear!

super bread tasted great... but sure had a lot of seeds. :) was good both toasted and untoasted... (toasted was great with cream cheese)
The Smoked Sockeye Salmon is absolutely delicious! It's a regular favorite of mine! Great on charcuterie boards. And wild caught not farmed!!

This is not true. I have worked at TJ for 10 years+.
That's good to know. I'm always learning new things about TJ. 😊
Aldi is the same

You’re welcome! I’m glad it helps. 😊

Thanks for watching! I understand about fragrance sensitivities.
We like the super organic bread for avocado toast! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

hope you are safe from the horrendous wildfires. So sad for all those who lost their homes.
Just yesterday I shopped attracted Joe's. I brought the artisan seeded multi grain. I tried it when I got home. So delicious.. Will buy again.
Thanks Gina. Happy New Year!😊
Happy New Year! 😊

The saucy scallop is good as a pasta sauce

I tried the super bread with seeds . Bread tasted wholesome. Will be buying again
Seedy Multigrain Bread is delicious toasted.
I’ve had the tomato dumpling soap. It’s unusual but good.
TJ's hand cream is the best!
According to an employee at Trader Joe’s, they do not mark any of their holiday items down. They stay until they sell out.
I prefer the spanakopita in the individual triangles. The pie doesn't taste the same.
Trader Joe’s eggs are so affordable, OMG. Albertsons sells for $6/dozen!!
My favorite bread is Demi baguette

The Sri Lankan dish is very good!!
Love it thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching! 😊
Yes, they've had the Calabrian soup for years and it's too spicy for my taste. Fans of heat will love it.
Good to know!

I'm in AZ and I was told they don't mark down Christmas items
Yes, I was told that too and I’m in Southeast Florida
I’ve never seen anything marked down at TJ’s even weeks after holidays.

Never been to traders Joe
I'm not a fan of trader joe's bread. It molds fast. Maybe because they are frozen with extra moisture. IDK.
Agreed! 🙁
No pricing is horrible. Bad management. I've never had that issue at my local TJ.
Had to laugh about the skin on your hands being 20 years older than you! 😂
The calamari that was next to the scallops is terrible. It’s super rubbery and I don’t recommend it!
