Gave 5 years to a woman, I loved her so much. Loved her more than I loved myself.
And when she left me it was like as you said my legs were taken from under me, I was naive in thinking our love was different.
Since then I've been career minded, been excelling at the gym, and been working on myself in any way. It's been a wonderful journey. I don't blame her for falling out of love with that version of me, that loss was needed for me to progress.
Went from 210 lbs to 160.
Kicked my addiction to weed and alcohol, no longer indulge in fast food. Making money, I'm doing ok.

This is the video I needed. My ex left me after a relationship of several years. After 3 months I found out she was with "the guy I shouldn't care, he was just her friend".
I literally spent 1.5 year martyring myself, crying at every f night for being such a jerk for losing the woman of my life, talking to myself on my walks in the mountain.
Blaming myself and analyzing the situation to see what I could do better or what I did wrong. I carry this shit so hard that i almost ended with depression. The funny thing is:
*While I was self-flagellating she was in bed with someone else enjoying herself*
Don't spend a single minute on another person who has left you. They don't even deserve that.

Few days before his 3rd death anniversary in this year, she got married after a relationship of 2 1/2 years. Do I blame her, No. People need to move on. I have seen most women are very good at moving on with their lives. Its men who mostly lament for months & months, years & years. Move on, forget her. That's the only way forward. The lamenting (at least prolonged one) from men usually comes from not having the skills to easily find another woman.

My wife took my twelve year old daughter and left me after three houses, five cars and fourteen years of marriage because she was bored. At first I felt like it was my fault for not keeping her happy or life exciting enough for her. I felt like a failure. If it wasn't for the manesphere and the red pill, I might of ended myself. Looking back now, I didn't realize how emotionally sick I was after the divorce and how stupid my marriage had become. I've learned life is too short to pine after a women that doesn't want you. I'm no longer distracted by the heartache. I don't waste time thinking about "why" or "what could have been". I accept "what is" and "what can be". Her actions are beyond my control. I have a friend who was in a relationship with this social media influencer, and I know the term js thrown around a lot but she genuinely makes her income doing that sort of stuff. Anyways, both are social media influencers in Toronto and tiktok famous and online famous. Both are my friends but the girl I presume although I never delved deeply was pushing for commitment from the guy or some sort of label, same girl these sorry simps would trade a leg to be with . They did everything together travelling, food, gym etc but the guy knew better than to commit to someone like her so early in his career. Most red pilled guy I had ever met, never had to read a book, watch a video, just came naturally to him. When I showed the red pill to him, that’s when he vaguely started associating some of the stuff he already knew with that label but for the most part he IS red pill. I try to pick his brain at time but he was just born that way, doesn’t care about what people think, let alone some bitch. Never once did he get emotional over a women, he just moves onto the next

Most of these guys are scorned men that have never really felt the love from a women. The whole “Women are evil” thing is a terrible look.
alot of these guys are mad they have been neglected and ignored by the opposite sex. so All they know is PAIN and REJECTION when thinking of Women.
When in reality women can be amazing too. I’ve always thought of it as Love never lasts but just enjoy the time while you have it and when the heartache comes you gotta learn to COPE and Love yourself..and I think alot of men dont know how to Love themselves….they hate the person they are so they trash themselves even more….
But You…I think you are going to be alright man… Sounds like you have the tools to grow and learn and ultimately Move on and develop yourself.

Had 3 kids, 3 cars, nice house with pool on an acre lot, a 31ft motor home, investments and nice savings in the bank...the American dream...right? She left me with the kids ages 7, 9, and 11 to shack up with a male coworker. The divorce was brutal...finances were destroyed. I raised our kids as a single dad while she married the coworker and started a new family. She only had contact with our kids a few time during the divorce before completely disappearing after it was finalized. It took me about 12 yrs to get back on my feet financially. Now 5 yrs later I'm in the absolute best financial position that I've ever been in my entire life. Relocated to a completely different region of the country for a fantastic promotion opportunity and great 6 figure career, have a nice house, 3 cars (2 paid for), leisure travel all of the time, money in the back, investments, and no real consumer debt. I focused on rebuilding my life without the impediment of a woman. I'll never remarry...life is so much better without a permanent woman in my life to sabotage my progress. Live free gentlemen.

She is going to tell/ show you exactly who she is.Just be there mentally to see it. Hey I've been there done that and wore the tee shirt. You have to touch a hot stove to learn don't do that. I cannot believe the sheer amount of time & energy most men put into attracting women into their lives. Every single one of them look 10 years older than me, burned out, stressed out, etc. I live a life of leisure and completely stress-free. My nieces have asked me "when are you getting married?" or "When are you going to get a girlfriend>", and my answer is always the same, I do not chase women, never found the effort worth it. No regrets.

Agreed mate. I look at some of my married friends and don't envy them one bit. Stressed, telling me how they never get time to themselves, wife dictating what they can and can't do. I had a friend tell me the other day that he wasn't allowed to watch a film in the living room because his wife was off work and that's the rule of the household whenever she's off. She wasn't even staying in the same room as him, she was watching the TV upstairs in bed. More like a dictatorship than a relationship. Juice ain't worth the squeeze with most of them. Been in a few relationships in my 20s and none of the girls I was with benefited or helped me grow in anyway, nothing but a hindrance.

when someone trashes you, you feel worthless. So you try to change their mind to become "worthy" again. When that doesnt happen, we suffer. The problem however is that we are looking for validation from outside. When you learn to detach from what others think of you, well, thats freedom and you can be happy about yourself according to your own standard.

i started to look for help online and came across this channel maybe 6 months ago when i was in a unhappy relationship. I got retroactively jealous of my ex's promiscuous history and was looking for some form of help to make me feel better and most content shown up on the internet are how it doesn't matter, although its a form of OCD, you can overcome it. I tried to believe that but it didnt work.... it bothered me so much that my constant questioning of her past has caused her to distant herself from me. I don't blame her for doing that, but after the relationship had ultimately failed, I started to look inward and examine my set of values, it just didn't match with my ex's. So yeah, Rich is right, don't complicate your life and then try to justify it. Find someone that shares similar value with you, your life will be a lot easier.

Good looks might get you a quick first foot in the door, superficial attention and ONS with dumb bimbos, but it will not give you the essential factors of a long lasting relationship. Its even statistically proven that Women stay with men who are equally or more educated and wealthy than them. And Emotional Intelligence and good communication is important too. Sometimes i get the feeling that women better understand how real relationships work over time than men. All you simps are just going for sexuality when in reality it fades for everyone over time. No matter how beautiful your gf is, at one point most sexual tension will be gone. From then on, respect, competence/potential, emotions and communication are the main factors for having a harmonic and happy relationship.

I’ll use an example of my younger cousin about 3 years ago he got out of a very bad relationship and he needed someone to talk to and it seemed like he was waking up and catching on to all these things. Last year, he calls me how he’s getting married (already married) soon and the woman he got with was way worse than the previous. At that point, I just did the ole “congrats! you’re doing the right thing!” and back away because that’s a person who will never be able to fully grasp these things. The more you try to push away the breakup feelings of regret guilt and sadness. The stronger they become.
Deal with your shIT, sit with the pain, locate it in the body, and let it go.
Do not become attached to the part of you who is hurt. It is not your center frame. This is a part of you that the center frame the observer is internalizing.

We've all been there. Always remember: She's NOT YOURS. It's just YOUR TURN while you have her. I've had a few girlfriends who were with the next guy either that same day or the next day (or in reality the were with him before ending it with me so there was over-lap) while I was all sad and mopey and shocked they could replace me instantly. I just came to accept the fact women have so many instant replacement options so if they want to they will instantly get with the next guy waiting in the wings, it's just their nature.

About 2 weeks in my BPD GF told me she was 'a shit girlfriend, shit at relationships and when my dopamine wears off I'll see her for what she really is'. I breezed straight through these flags and within 3 months she entered the split phase of BPD and went disrespectful, frigid and called me a c**t on an almost daily basis. Of course I thought I could change her to love me (empath/codependent) but after nearly 2yrs left her when she tried to con me out of $500. It took me a long while, a very long while to come out of my trauma bond to her but the best piece of advice was this - When they show you who they are believe them. Go absolute thinking, deal only with the truth of what it was like & write down a list of the realities and read them everyday until you believe them. Because they're the truth of what she was like. Go no contact and enjoy your life again. It's hard, very hard, but you'll get there.

Rich, I hung out with this "international student" a few times. She joked that we could "get married so she can fix her papers".
Next thing she tells me is that the government of Canada is going to send her out to Newfoundland or Nova Scotia in a month after she graduates college. It's called Pathways to Permanent Residency (I had no idea that this even exists!).

That's the problem with modern women: they think men don't have emotions, or emotional attachments, so they assume that it's necessary to go ham on a man when separating from him emotionally. Hence, the disrespect the woman displays towards a man. The irony is that the more women do these things, the more men have decided to check out of the dating and mating market altogether. The funny thing though is that these women, no longer having a man around to be cruel against, become the very abusers they accuse most men of being, by labeling men "weak" for not putting up with their sociopathic tendencies (see Amber Heard). Sickening. SMH.

Those are the women with attachment trauma. You see that with women that have avoidant or disorganized attachment. Obviously the cluster bs…narcissists, borderlines, etc… guys have to heal what they need to so they don’t get drawn to these type of women (coming from experience).
