Bro Breaking Benjamin is my favorite band haha. Their drummers are all phenomenal at that. They are insane live. USED to listen to? I blast them constantly from all records. Their formula is incredible.

i love this guys vocals, but one thing that is keeping me to hardcore love their music is the guys range, hes kind of keeping it under a level, BUT on this track, he is showing much more and i love it.
This song makes me want to buy an 8 string so bad! That guitar tone is haunting and those drums are insane. Vessel and the boys have made me a happy man!
May as well restring your 6 string to the big end of an 8 string. String tension wont be much more with their low tuning. And they never play any high notes

I have a love-hate relationship with sleep because of my depression. I spent most of my adolescent teenage years either asleep, or too dosed up on sertraline to even fully comprehend what day of the week it was, what I was in said day, or even the concept of my self or what that actually felt like. I couldn't feel, that was the thing. And when I wasn't shambling through life pitifully, not making any effort to ever accomplish anything (because of my absolute 0 motivation), I would admit defeat to this thing called sleep, for that is inevitably what happens with depression - you get so down, you just feel like sleeping all the time. I slept in class. I slept at my friend's house. I slept at social gatherings my parents would take me to. I slept in my parent's car when I didn't feel like getting out or going into the building with them, I just slept. And slept. And slept. And I always felt WORSE once I got up from my nap somehow then if I hadn't slept at all - I just felt exhausted physically instead of mentally - as if my brain had somehow concocted the "genius" plan of offsetting the rot by redirecting it to my autonomics (later on it was uncovered in research that serotonin was actually created in MOST major organs of the body, so that would explain that phenomenon). It wasn't fair, I thought. I felt betrayed by sleep, believing before that she was a sanctuary I could use to hide away from the utterly grim reality that was MY conscious reality. I came to despise it - sleep. This distaste of course only worsened how I felt after each rest, as I was tossing and turning or too pent up subconsciously while trying to sleep - because I was so afraid of feeling like literal DEATH upon waking up. I can't describe that feeling accurately, except it felt like I was stuck in a waking nightmare that was attempting to break my spirit through utter modernity and excruciating boredom that sucked out my very soul, bit by *ever so tiny* bit. Then I found stimulants. Then I found cocaine. Then I found methamphetamine. Then I found addiction, and the dereliction that inevitably follows it. I've gotten better as of late, but I still struggle every day, still feel.... fear. Fear of Sleep. Because I don't want to feel like death again.

Then, the drums kick in and I'm thinking "Shit, these guys give tool a run for their money" (which has been my favourite band for 20 years). Im fully enthralled in this master piece when all of a sudden... he starts singing. I jump up, foot gets stuck on the aux cord for my amp and almost bail. The vocalist knows what he wants you to feel when he is singing and the drummer is always on point, and they all just are vibing out, in turn giving us incredible bangers.
Love the writing. I would have been obsessed with this back when I loved Chevelle and Breaking Ben. This does sound way better than those bands. Not as generic. Great work!
I dont know if you know this Breaking Benjamin came from the band Lifer with a different vocalist.
Definitely not better than Chevelle, but it's still good.
Bro Breaking Benjamin is my favorite band haha. Their drummers are all phenomenal at that. They are insane live. USED to listen to? I blast them constantly from all records. Their formula is incredible.
@@wdrumz They still have an appealing production. After listening to much heavier music, a couple of his vocal parts can be slightly cringe for me, but it's crazy that I still like any of it. It may not sound like a compliment but I've stopped listening to most of the other bands that sound like this. BB used to be my favorite band until Tool and Primus ruined my brain. Now I like Vildhjarta and Meshuggah and it can be tough to return back to BB after those bands.
This song hypnotized me. No other way to put it. 😂
A whole new generation will be made with this song and The Summoning
“And I am almost under” this is the sickest outdo ever!!!! Effen brutal bass tone!!
Here with fellow ufc bois, good taste in music by "Handz Of Steel", this is fkn awesome🔥
Big Deftones vibes here, love it!
Also, drummer is an absolute unit.
Worship.
Geoff Neal walk out, put me on to this!
Just every little bit of this song is amazing, can't stop listening.
Getting serious deftones vibes, instrumentally and lyrically speaking
fax
the drums are really deftonesy
@@TheCivildecay For sure, the drummer does a cover of a Deftones song too so he’s definitely a fan
super deftoney
Your right i can see Chino Moreno singing this! 🤘
This is not a common song you come across everyday. A masterpiece that will still be around after 1000 years...
I am here, after listening to Will Ramos' Vocal Cover. Beautiful Song, I'll check out more of your stuff ! Greetings from Germany
If you need recs, the offering is like hypnosis’s big brother, Higher is unmatched, Atlantic is a beautiful album opener, Gods is mistakable for Goon Squad by Deftones (if you like Deftones), Take Aim and Sugar are personal favorites, and Alkaline is such an awesome song its like the shorter version of Hypnosis
This drummer is amazing!!! Just outstanding 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
shoutout to Geoff Neal to walking out to this song on a UFC Main Card, one of the coolest shit i seen🖤
Best song of the whole event entrance songs.
I was so stoked when Neal came out to this song. And he won!
Geoff Neal is a beast! I missed his walk out and now I'm pissed! Definitely won't miss it next time now
I just discovered you yesterday and I live in upstate, you played in New York the day I realized you guys would change my life truly. This music speaks to me so deeply, it moved me to tears. Thank you and please come to Syracuse so I can see you and meet you.
UFC fighter walking out to this last night at UFC308 💯🤟
Geoff yup same why I’m here
I zeroed in on the hyper reflexive drummer. Unique, You can’t ignore it. Unlike many songs, this time it feels as if the drummer is at the fore of the performance not driving it but pulling it. He’s saying, “try to keep up!”
Man... the lyrics to this song paired with his voice is something else. What a fucking masterpiece.
i love this guys vocals, but one thing that is keeping me to hardcore love their music is the guys range, hes kind of keeping it under a level, BUT on this track, he is showing much more and i love it.
I fell in love with this music...can't stop playing it
Every song this band does makes me feel like I fell in love for the first time again!
This song makes me want to buy an 8 string so bad! That guitar tone is haunting and those drums are insane. Vessel and the boys have made me a happy man!
May as well restring your 6 string to the big end of an 8 string. String tension wont be much more with their low tuning. And they never play any high notes
@@profound369 oh damn! Didn't know you could do that. I'm do for some new strings. I'm gonna try that. Thanks
@@artybone6946 may still wanna look into what guages he is using cause i believe they tune lower than standard 8 string tuning haha
Maybe you should just get a digitech whammy downtuner pedal
I read a comment saying he uses a meshuggah m80 and 30" 6 string baritone
Idk why some people hate on this band. I love that a younger generation is using them as a gate way into metal. I'm here for it.
They are way overhyped, in a general sense there’s nothing going on here that is unique or original.
@@Maxgrindsetjust admit that you don't have taste man-
I just wanted to say that I seen you guys on the 10th and I almost cried hearing this live. You guys are amazing and I hope you come over here in the SC/NC area more often because you'll always have a ticket sale from me
I have a love-hate relationship with sleep because of my depression.
Absolutely love this band, gives me modern Tool vibes.
Can't stop listening to this band, everyday. What a wonderful day to spend the last day of 2022.
Worship. 😎
Diamond eyes vibes with this one, especially the breakdown at the end. Definitely one of the best bands out there right now.
Welp, intentional or not, thanks for the song recommendation. Just checked out Diamond Eyes and loved it.
Cheers!
@@r_ez4608 Cherry waves, Sextape, Minerva, entombed, be quiet and drive should be next on your list 👍🏼
@@MiguelRamirez-cr7gh I have a lot of errands to run today, I know what I'll be listening to in the meantime!
If you haven't listened to it yet, the How Fleeting, How Fragile album by Time, the Valuator is amazing.
@@r_ez4608 I’ve heard of the band but never checked them out, I will do that thank you
Dos años ya y me sigue encantando está canción. Mi favorita! 😍
Moreover, if you are able -- listen to ST's last two albums in your car, full blast -- you will never forget the experience ---never! You have been warned. ST is a gift from the heavens!
That long drive of 3h was too fucking short, my ears were buzzing at the end of it, but my heart was full, my soul healed.. I would love to do it again.
This just might be the best song ever written in my opinion.
You guys have shot into my favorites. Every single song is incredible. Thank you for your music.
Wow. Just wow. His voice reminds me of thr late Chris Cornell.
That ending breakdown and dreary atmosphere had a strong Nemertines vibe to it.
Straight up almost a rip of Nemertines lol
Bringing the melody and the heavy, this is my favorite kind of Sleep Token track!
The vocal counterpoint from 3:19 is just crushingly beautiful ❤🔥
If I ever get to see you guys live I’d cry from happiness
The ending is freaking pure filth I am so glad that I am alive to experience this amazing band Worship!
This song makes me feel like the band is extracting my soul, i love it!
I have been on such a tremolo kick lately and that intro was exactly what i needed
Imagine this, opening Safari to this song spontaneously playing in the background. It starts with the guitar and I'm all "hell yeah". Regain my balance to then trip over my 90 pound doberman. I basically raged war with all my living room furniture, fumbling to grab my phone so I could shazam the song before it ended. long story short... that is how I personally discovered Sleep Token.
Such an amazing band their music is so atmospheric! And that voice!! Those drums!! So good!
This song seems like The Offering Part II...so good
The vocal overlays are sick! Spooky sounding AF. One of my kids got me into this.
That's cool i just got one of my kids into this band. And now i have someone to discuss it with.
I discovered this band today, It will be a good journey.
Great tones, sick drums, hypnotized me.
Geoff Neal walking out to UFC 298 with this song was incredible!
Sounded crazy hard
Thats what brought me here lol
Niceee
Whats hypnotizing is this flipping drum pattern, its insane. Spent an hour trying to keep up and im not bored
Watch his offering of hypnosis on drumeo
DRUMS ONLY get a real taste and feel of the grooves and patterns and just pure musical genius
So creative and original
Reason I listen to them now
I look for what 2 is doing in each masterpiece they put out
This guys is different
Really enjoy
I love this song it's literally my favorite.
