wow, did I deliver a LOT of pizza with this album screaming through my car speakers. Early 80's... good times, perhaps even better times. Ah hell, showing my years... hey! get off my lawn kid! :)
@@TJPenitenciaI was rolling/making dough cranking “Hit That” by the Offspring and damn Nickleback….. You know we all listened to Nickleback and we all did the 🐓 nod head rocking out! No memes here!
I see that there are only 489 likes. And I csn’t help but be puzzled - then I remember that I have watched this video probably 100 times. So we’re a small but MIGHTY cult-like following. 🍎❤️💋🎼🍺🥃🌿🎸🥁
Yes, it was. Thankfully they usually put song credits at the end of the movie, and that's how I found out who these guys were. I went out and bought the album the next day.
I remember seeing this on a video show before MTV boy was I hooked ran out the next day.had all the drum parts for all of the songs committed to memory within a month!
Classic song !!! Right from the staggered guitar intro, the trippy keys sound, stunning drums patterns, wrap around bassline, and great lyrics. Perfect composition. . . Freaking brilliant !!!
I agree with all of that. It's got a winding, seductive sound. I hadn't heard it for years, but just did at the Golden Nugget in Biloxi. Fortunately I was in an area of the building that the sound was really clear. I was like WOW! 🤩
Still have this o original vinyl. Great album, especially if you are close to, or going through a break up. Some very angry songs, some hopeful, some vengeful. Great mix of emotions
I’ve loved this song since it came out. Wore out the record- the cassette and a Cd or two. I love this video for presentation sake - but I can’t help think - when they show the keyboard player - “No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die.”
44 years ago & I remember this song like it was yesterday. Damn I REALLY miss the 80's !!!
Not enough people know this song .
The Valley Girl movie really put this on the map for many.

I was driving pizzas a decade later. Different songs, but, yeah, the music that played on those runs gets stuck in your head.

He was very popular in Grand Rapids, MI in the early 80's. The local D.J. promoted him a lot.
Such a great "lost rock" tune.
He was big on the radio in San Diego and my band opened for him in a small club there. We were really excited about that! Great sound!

It was playing in the background when Skip delivered groceries to Mrs Brent. She was in the backyard by the pool.

Jack is an awesome drummer.
Upon its release I played the hell out of the LP and this song.
A lot of ppl aged about 50 to 70 will remember a local band "Vision" playing this in Invercargill, New Zealand. God, I'm so old lol

Not certain why, but this tune is excellent to listen to - when repairing Audio equipment. The timbre of Gary's voice is just right for this!!!

This and Missing Persons.
Really fantastic!
1980's Premier Station KROQ, Pasadena/LA gave this song Mega play.
The 80s was last era of Music where one can sing aloud & understand lyrics. W exception to some bands. Great classic , man! 😎 80s Music Rules

Great song. But why does he seems so mad about it?
That's just how we did music in the 80's lol... See Billy Idol :)
I remember hearing this one on the Rock and Roll Alternative back in the day. It's nice to revisit this one.
