Dr. Ariana L. Smith, Director of Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and Chief of the Section of Urology at Pennsylvania Hospital, focuses mainly on treating women with pelvic floor conditions such as pelvic organ prolapses, urinary incontinence and urinary tract fistulas. Dr. Smith’s practice offers women minimally invasive surgical options to treat their conditions, allowing them to get back to their lives and families quickly. Her approach to patient care is to listen to what patients have to say about their lives and what is impacting them and come up with a plan that will be satisfying and improve their quality of life. “I really like to educate my patients and get them involved in the decision making for their surgeries.
