Would advice you all to hold your buying for atleast a year. Let them prove their Quality, Reliability & Durability since they have Localised & Compromised to save input cost & earn the same in India.
Its no more the same VW Global Quality Standard. We as Indian should not Encourage & Accept such Quality for sometime atleast.
Agreed they have an excellent 1.0 & 1.5 TSI engine offering good efficiency & near linear power delivery.
Let's hope VW-Skoda improves & iron out all defects at the earliest & offers us the best German Quality Engineered Cars.
That's my Expectations from the German twins who have invested ₹8,000 Crores in India. We need one car which ticks all boxes for the rest to follow & improve.
When they will go to global standards then it will be more costly and people like you only will go for creta and seltos 🤡 then you wont say these lines. This car can also achieve more safety rating than seltos
@@shanky4 Gentleman. If T ROC 1.5 TSI Petrol with DSG as CBU was offered for ₹19 lacs for a German manufactured product. If I back calculate. T-Roc is atleast 35% expensive. Lets Calculate ₹19 lacs - 25% atleast = Around ₹14-15 lacs. *Pl note* Currently, the import duty on compete built-up (CBU) cars in India is between 60-100 per cent. Then GST is between 40-50 per cent, depending on the size and engine capacity of the car, and registration taxes stand between 10-20 per cent.(06-Oct-2020)
Kindly compare Price & Quality of our India manufactured Taigun with T-ROC. You will get your answer Sir. Neither are they offering German Quality nor offering you at the same price with 95% localisation.

Higher segment BMW, Audi
Middle segment suspended
No perfect vehicles from 10 lakhs to 25 lakhs in India , companies from outside India have no clue to provide the solutions, they're just toing the Hyundai,vw, Skoda Toyota, Honda have burnt their hands between this price range TATA and Maruti Suzuki have also given a go.
With the increasing upper middle class and lower upper class the automobile manufacturers will have to put a lot of intelligence to hold on the market.

Ikr, not just safest by safety rating, the steering, suspension and brake give you immense confidence.

Pricing could have been way better with the amount of localisation done or the quality should not have been deteriorated, only then this pricing was justified. Localisation has been done just for profit margin and not for adding value for the customers.
Skoda Yeti, Laura, last gen. Octavia and VW Jetta were still better value.
Must enquire for cost of spares before buying.
Germans are following the Koreans and Japanese by giving more importance to cosmetic value over build quality and mechanical prowess.
We Indians must understand that there's a difference in buying an automobile and a home appliance, this is why Ford had no option but to leave and those who understand what a mechanically superior car feel like, will admit that Ford was the only company which gave even middle class people like us the satisfaction of an accomplished driving experience.

Bhai cylinder deactivation technology in 1.5L engine sirf Taigun/Kushaq mein milta hai. Mileage machine hai yeh agar smooth chalai jaye.
Seltos, Creta, Astor abhi naturally aspirated engine mein phasey hain, turbocharged with cylinder deactivation bhul jao kabhi milega.
How is Astor 1.5 to compare with its drive?
Vw skoda agar itne mai mil rhe hai bahut badi bat hai. Jab quality mil rhe thi tab kon c bik rhe thi ab thoda demand k hisab ki gaadi nikali hai to quality ka rona suru kr diya sabne.

Every year 1000 pieces come to India which are sold within a couple of months.
It’s discontinued. The facelift is out in international markets but it’s not sure if VW India will bring it here. If yes then the price will be much higher for the facelift

After 5 years this and all other diesel suvs will become obsolete (due to EV cars). So right now should we buy a diesel car or go for petrol/cng car like upcoming Brezza cng or even Amaze cng?. What do you guys think?.

Xuv300 is good but back portion design is not attractive
Xuv 300 is good just the boot space is a negative point else it's a great car
Xuv 300 is wider than same segment and even next segment cars.
I had this same issue now finally bought xuv 300 last week. Ride qualy is brilliant.
different segment cars really.. XUV is wider but doesn't translate that much into shoulder room as most of the additional width goes towards external design (the so called cheetah leg muscles creases design)..
I have an XUV300 W8(O) model and considering Taigun now.. XUV is an amazing car, no doubt.. I did a 3 consecutive day Mumbai-Tirupati-Mumbai drive and a 6 days Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Modera-Abu-Jaipur-Vrindavan-Mathura-Gwalior-Ujjain-Indore-Mumbai trip and it performed really well but it does not have that much of an X factor as the name would suggest.. also, I am looking to buy an auto car now and I think the 1.5 TSI has the right X factor that I need and the DSG will serve my auto gearbox requirements

AC issue in Taigun 1L liter variant :- Not sure you will read this comment or not but highlight the problem faced by 1 L tubro Tiagun users .AC of Taigun keeps tripping in lower gear and blows hot air . Problem is such that car blower blows hot air in bumper to bumper traffic and there is no solution till now provided by Volkswagen .Many users are facing this problem in India those who have 1L turbo engine.Kindly , highlight the problem .

No offence to the buyer but how can anyone buy this thing at that price. It is a strictly 4 seater, doesn't come with ventilated seats, doesn't have decent interior, doesn't have electronic parking, doesn't have decent boot, doesn't have insulated engine cabin, and you have to pay 20L? It better comes with driving dynamics as good as pushpak viman to justify all these cons.

I don't understand why harrier, hector are being compared here with taigun,kushaq,creta,astor,seltos? You are repeatedly saying 20 lakhs car 20 lakhs car yes on road for all these cars top models are almost 20-21 lakhs. But for harrier hector their on road for top models price is almost 24-25. So there is comfortable 5 lakhs difference so can't compare and tell that features in harrier hector are missing in these cars. If you want to compare then compare similar ones. At 20 lakhs you get harrier and hectors mid variants then compare taigun,kushaq and all with features in mid spec of harrier and hector. But here you are comparing features of harrier and hector available in their top ends with taigun, kushaq and all which are 5 lakhs lesser. This is wrong

Taigun anyday.... Astor can give you gimmick features but if you want good ride quality, fuel efficient and performance oriented car then you should go for Taigun.

Commercial drivers apni gaadi CNG pe chalate hain aur do teen lakh Km to aaram se chala lete hain aur unko apni gaadi ke baare main bhi zyada pata bhi hota hai aur practical cheezon ki knowledge hoti hai.
