Hi, thank you so much for your time making these videos. When you are testing i can see the board is live, (1) do you disconnect the battery when replacing these resistors? Please can you provide a link to the flux and solder you use please. Is it lead free solder? Thanking you kindly
Excellent excellent video. I have thecsame multimeter. I have a friends gb75. The buttons are intermittent. So I'm gonna have a go at fixing it for him. Wish me luck! Liked and subscribed.
I have the 75 amp model and only used it a little and now it will not charge either..I think the product is crab..lm very disappointed that it fuckd up only using it one time
If you are using the same smd resistor put 2 or even 3 is good. If you are using other size resistor 1 watt or more 1 will work fine. Plus the resistors on parallel.
Hi your videos are very helpful I fixed mine changing the 2 resistors but can’t get the voltage display to work even when boost, and I checked connection under the board was solid and test ok. Anything else I should be checking thanks again
check if there is any cracked resistor by the led light. check the voltage on the clamps do you get 12 when you boost? there is a video fixing no voltage when boosting check that may help.
@@SOSfixElectronics I have boost all working fine 12v to leads just the voltage display is dead I checked all resistors in the area all ok might have a open a6 diode I will try that next
Good evening friend, I have a GB 150, there is no voltage in the cables, I disarmed it and by accident I touched the Relay cables and there was power but it seems that when I did that it burned or something happened with the one with the Q 15 and the meter does not turn on voltage send me your address and if you are still working on it thanks
I have a GB150 that won't turn on. The red light with (!) on it just blinks. Can I send it to you for repair? It's over 2 years old so Noco said I'm out of warranty and there's nothing they can do.
does this problem happen to all models? or they fixed the problem that is from NOCO now close to 2023 ? after how long of use this problem appears, help me with these answers ....
I have a GB150 similar to this one. It will not charge. My unit is less than 1 year old but the case was damaged so they will not repair the unit even though the case damage has not impacted any internal electronics.I've noticed in several of your repair videos you replace these same resistors. My unit does not have them in the same location. In that location I see a larger device labeled PTC1. My input voltage is 4.7 VDC with 1.05 A draw. Do you have advice on what might be different on my unit?
Sorry to be off topic but does anybody know a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the account password. I love any help you can give me.
@Trace Brentley Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I have two diods that are open as in I can get voltage from both sides. How do I find out what kind of diod to replace it with? I do not see any markings. Thank you for your time.
Hi. Im from Poland so I cant send you my broken noco one fifty. I try fix it myself but I have few questions. On the mainboard upside are 4 zener diodes with minimelf housing. Did you know the parameters of its? There are also under swith on/off system transistor under the item Q7 described BLD20 then are three rectifying diodes S16G position D6 D19 D2 and then is voltage regulator IC6. Did you know the parameters of this transistor and diodes? I can find anywhere, s16g is Schotzky 60V 1A? Problem with the device is that it charge correctly, that are 11.3 voltage from the berry but device wont turn on, the LEDs light also wont turn on, but when I press device turn on switch the transistor Q7 (bld20) diode D19 (s16g) are going realy hot, cant touch the D19 diode. I dont know what problem is I changed some resistors that you changed in your videos but it did not help. It looks like there is maybe problem with the voltage in this system Q7- D6 D19 D2- C17- IC6 or before that system? I would be very gratefull if you find the time to answer. Greetings;)
the diodes is for the vdd line and power button, vdd voltage is 10v, check that diodes if shorted ( i see that problem before) check the input voltage in the regulator should be 10v and the output should be 3.3v, i have videos about it. check them to understand how the circuit works

The new Gbx155 didn't have the same problem as gb150. But it has other issues, 🙂
