Hey, Its Brian Cooley ! No one on Roadshow matches his level in commentary. He like the John Davis of Road Show. Please continue being you, entertaining and informative. 🙏👍
Always look forward to Cooley's videos. How does he do it!! Always makes you engage and leave information that will stay with you for a long period of time..
9:38. This is very accurate, I currently have a IS350 rated 19 mpg and I get the same mpg that I got with the Avalon that was rated at 20, and Camry rated at 22mpg.. city...
I used to watch videos on this channel when Cooley was doing more videos. I think the rest of the top comments echo the same sentiment. More Cooley please!!
Welcome Back! You are one of the best, informative true journalists concerning transportation issues. How about weight and consumer concerns for cost of ownership over time: insurance, registration fees, license plate fees, cost of fuel per year. Many buyers don't calculate that expense at the point of purchase? Just asking, thanks
Been a long time Brian, glad your back and need more of this content with you! You should be reviewing new cars as well, do such a great job and a unique insight
Dude, i just love your work, we need more!! You wont remember me but i was the P&G guy at the internet home alliance meetings years ago, ancient history!! Keep up the GREAT work!!
2:50 I knew the definition of foot-pounds, but it didn't feel intuitive until now. Thank you for taking the time to set up a visual demo instead of just describing it verbally.
As for torque: Where in the RPM range the engine makes that torque matters too. A turbocharged 4CYLD will often feel peppier than a V6 in a lot of cars these days despite the V6 making similar amounts of power and torque. That is because the turbocharged engine makes the torque a lower RPM than the V6. Also, that torque is available for more of the RPM range than the NA V6 which makes accelerating in the real world feel stronger than the larger engine.
Good article, as a Leaf owner though charge time usually has more to do with how far you want to go, or how long you can leech off a free charger, than battery capacity. If some of the upcoming advancements in batteries ever pan out we might see cars with ridiculous full charge ranges of 6-700 miles and I don't know if people who only ever go 300 - 400 miles in a day would ever bother to fully charge these vehicles, or would do so on a regular basis. Also nice to have another Cooley video. More please!!!
Don't put butter on a burn, but good pun. Max payload for someone looking to tow is important. The max tow for the specific configuration you're looking to buy is important too. Many advertisements will have the max tow base on a single cab long box rwd pickup, which doesn't apply to a 4x4 crew cab short box.

One of the best things about electric cars is that it simplifies SO much about cars.
Unless you buy a BMW i3. Very complex.
@@Al13n1nV8D3R I supposed. I guess I should have clarified that they can be as complex as you want to make them, but they don't HAVE to be.
Don't put butter on a burn, but good pun.
