@@daybot9592 not so sure.... Batt capacity would almost always be wayyy lower than max. It would be fun to watch but a real life nitemare to make real.

William Stamper diesel/electric hybrid technology. The electric to buffer the motor off boost and to help make seamless gear changes. Once the truck is in power the motor will kick out. Also instead of using a Jake these trucks will use the electric motor for regenerative braking, it’ll slow down and charge the batteries. Especially when it has a heavy load those batteries will charge fast on any downhill coasting or regenerative braking.

Love the video, you see the real stress the frames getting... I remember back in the later 60s when the slicks on cars getting so good and doing serious frame damage to the Mustang....

When you pay 8000usd for a clutch built specifically to do this it better stay in one piece... that being said it’s all easing into the clutch slipping off the line to put as little stress on the power train

Probably Caterpillar 3406 and 3408 and cummings Ktc some old-school engines not this admission EGR DPF DEF crap they have today.
it depand of the class C class is mostly stock engine(before dpf and everything of course) B class can reach around 2000hp and the A class(the one who can get both wheels of the ground) are unlimited so the blue day cab w900 have around 3200hp if i remember

Onaway Michigan take place in may (spring) cause alot of the racers take are part of a racing championship in Quebec Canada during the summer so to have the racers go to michigan organisers cant choose the same time has the events in quebec

Because it doesn't sound good in slow motion, the normal speed parts of the video had sound.
The camera doesn't record audio when recording 120fps. Plenty of other videos on the channel with truck audio in real time :-)
